The cottage was perfect for me in everyway. It was peaceful, very clean, nicely decorated and had a nice screened in porch that I enjoyed immensely. Plus, the bed was super comfy. The location could not have been any better because I could walk a few blocks to town or go right down the street to the beautiful botanical gardens. The inside was cozy with a nice kitchen. I look forward to staying again next August.

Everything worked as expected. Easy walk to shops and meals. Like any property, there are a few things that need a little love, but wouldn’t prevent me from staying again.

We spent three nights in Highlands in July at this great location. We really enjoyed this property, it was close to main street, restaurants, the Old Edwards spa, the Highlands playhouse, the botanical gardens, etc. It is in a quiet little tiny home neighborhood that is very cute and well maintained. The screened porch was lovely for coffee every morning. We also appreciated the Roku for getting into our movie accounts. The property has everything we needed and very clean and in perfect shape. We plan to come back as soon as we can! This was our first visit to Highlands but it definitely won't be our last - we fell in love with the area.

Came in town for a wedding. Convenient to the downtown main strip. Has everything that you’d need from a hotel room. Cute little spot. Would stay here again.

The cozy cottage was just what we needed for some R & R! We loved the quiet neighborhood, proximity to town, as well as great landing spot after hiking the surrounding trails. Highlands is a beautiful town and a great place to visit in the middle of July!

We had the best time at Carolina Pines! The tiny home is a perfect location to walk to Main Street. The home is simple and clean. The screened in porch is perfect for early morning and evenings. We hardly saw or heard neighbors. We did not dine in as there are so many choices nearby. Walking to the concerts in the park and eateries was perfect to avoid trying to find a parking spot. We will certainly return again some day. Communication with the host was great ~ very quick and friendly.

The house is located within walking distance to Main Street Highlands. It was a very welcoming house. Well kept and clean. Everything worked!! It was just what we needed to celebrate an anniversary.

This place was great. We enjoyed the stay. Coffee on the front porch every morning. If you want walkable this is it. Easy walk to downtown, the park had free, live music Saturday. Only got in our car to check out Cashiers and the waterfalls. This place had everything we needed for a long weekend. Hosts sent a great list of suggestions for things to do.

This was our 2nd time staying in the Cozy Cottage! Great location, super clean and comfortable. Matthew and Alexandra are great hosts, super responsive. Will certainly stay again and will recommend the cottage to others.

We loved the location of this cottage BUT the main reason we booked it was due to the outside fireplace. We thought we would be able to go outside each night and finish our day with a couple of glasses of wine around it. This is a community fireplace and has 2 picnic tables right in front of it which really wasn't the vibe we were looking for. No where on this online listing does it say COMMUNITY fireplace that I can see. Mattress could have been better as well. Too hard for my liking. Found myself having to keep repositioning myself throughout the night.

Great location, just minutes away from the Highlands Main Street. Most restaurants and shops are only a quick stroll away. So many hiking trails within driving distance for beginner or experienced hikers. The cabin was very nice,clean, and in a quiet area. It was great to have so many amenities of home, especially the washer and dryer. Host was easy to get a hold off and provided recommendations on dining hikes etc. Greeted by a bottle of wine and chocolates that could be enjoyed on the screened in porch. All around great place and can’t wait for a return trip.

Really enjoyed recent stay here. Very clean cottage in a quiet neighborhood of similar cottages. Near town and several close-by amenities. As stated in description, the cottage is small but it did not seem that way. Hope to stay here again in the future.

This property surpassed our expectations in every way. The entire little community was very quiet and well kept. One of our favorite features was the outdoor fireplace. We enjoyed a fire on two of the three nights and it was just perfect!!! Would highly recommend this property and most of all the hosts. Amazing people to work with. Thank you so very much !!!! This adorable little house was within walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants and trails. It was quiet and so clean with a great shower and a cozy screened porch where I started each day with coffee and quiet reading. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.
