The location was great but the rooms were not as nice as the pictures.

We really enjoyed our stay at Riad des Remparts de Fès. Both Hajar and Mohammed made sure we were comfortable and ensured that we had everything we needed. We also especially requested eggs during one of our breakfasts and Hajar made sure we got them the next day. Excellent hospitality, clean and a well maintained Riad. Most days it was just the two of us there so we got the whole space to ourselves. Also, located conveniently; a quick 5-7 minute walk from the main souks and the Blue Gate. One thing to be mindful of: due to old infrastructures, there are no elevators so if you’re in the top most room, that’s 4 flights of stairs. Overall, highly recommend this Riad.

Stayed two nights on visit to Fes. Good location and comfortable.

We had a pleasant stay at the riad. The owner is very helpful, she helped us with the luggage and told us where to find restaurants in the maze-like Medina. We had to leave early on our departure date, but she kindly arranged early breakfast for us.

Good host and location, but bedsheets were hard and rough, shower only gave cold water and was very low to the ground.

The riad is beautifully built and attention to details. The host was very hospitable. There is vehicular access to the riad and it is within walking distance from the main street. We stayed in Azul which is on 3rd floor so there are some stairs to climb, but you get to enjoy the rooftop view so I'd say this could easily the best room to stay in.

Wonderful, cheerful service and helpful staff. Location was perfect for exploring medina and local areas.

Hajar, manager of the Riad is a wonderful host, always smiling and does magic to ensure we have a memorable stay in Fez. She arranged a tour guide at our last minute resquest, and check we are happy with. Great breakfast, we were happy with the Azur room that is on the terrasse and gives view on the Medina and other parts of Fez. Roomy and large bathroom. No fridge or water boiler for coffee. Easy to find, car can access (great feature so you don't get lost in the medina with suitcases!). Overall good quality /price - highly recommended

My husband and I stayed at Riad des Remparts for 5 nights. The service was great: very accommodating, friendly and professional. They always asked us how we were doing and if there was anything they could do for us. The location is also great-very close to the old Medina and only a short walk to where taxis park. The decorations and architecture are beautiful-very traditional. The breakfast included various freshly made/baked breads, olives, jams, cheese, fresh orange juice and good coffee. The roof top patio, which overlooks the medina, is large with several seating areas. The only issue is the step and narrow stair case to some rooms that could pose an issue for some guests. Super value for the money.

Very gorgeous property. But a small water bottle is 15 dirham at the Riad when I could get a 1.5l for 6 dirham in the Médina... otherwise it was a very pleasant stay. Thank you

I enjoyed staying at this riad! It was a great location just a short (2min) walk to the Médina. The rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast every morning was excellent! The staff was very accommodating and friendly

Great location, room was what we expected. Breakfast was good!
The woman that checked us in was great.
Our only downside was that the front desk person in the evening telling us our choice for dinner was not that good. He recommended a different one and had someone take us there. There were 4 of us, and we left and did not eat there. I feel that it overpriced (220 durams for couscous/vegetarian)and no one was eating there). We had a better meal at another establishment.

We had a great stay! Unfortunately we were only able to stay for 1 night but we loved everything about this place. Dinner was great (reservations made ahead of time), the room was spacious and clean, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again if in the area!

This was our favorite riad while staying in Morocco. The room was very very good and Mohamad was really great at making us feel at home.

The Riad itself was delightful and beautiful. After a few weeks of travel, I really liked that it was removed from the main Médina a bit (I needed the quiet). Service was questionable, though. I was woken up a few times by management just to see if I was in the room and even though they asked me for a specific breakfast time, they were not ready. When I was ready to check out, there was no one at the desk to help me. Had to wait a while.

It is a great riad with excellent service provided by their staff, especially Hagar and Mohammad, who recommended great places in Fes to visit and dine. The room is spacious and comfortable for both me and my wife and the interior is wonderful!

This Riad is old and traditional and the staff were very friendly. But the after walking around our room with white socks on, it became clear that the tile floor in the room needed a good clean. Unfortunately there was no breakfast for us at 8am, even though the hotel info said reception would be manned 8am to 8pm. Also both myself and my husband gouged our arms on either an exposed wire or nail sticking out of the rope hand rails in the stairwell to the terrace.

While the riad itself is fine - good staff, good breakfast, etc, it is simply just not worth the money. You can find much cheaper places in the medina for almost the same quality or above. One thing to note it that you may not want to show up too late - we had to let other guests in late at night (22h) since there was nobody at the desk and the guests were banging on the door for quite some time.

We had a a room on 3rd floor. The room was noisy because window facing a busy street and bathroom had a water on a floor. I believe in other rooms they don’t have this problem. Overall hotel is nice and beautiful. The location is good.

The staff was very helpful and offered us early breakfast. Rooms were big and cozy but the Riad decorations are not as found in pictures. Few steps to Medina, Overall good value for money

Lovely place with nice staff. Room is clean and large, modern toilet.

the hotel was close to the Medina and was in a quiet neighborhood. The staff answered questions about my room requests and quickly attended my requests if the tv needed to be adjusted. The one thing that was not favorable was that to view the tv was a flight of stairs needed to be climbed to the loft where the tv situated. the breakfast consisted of sweet rolls and bread and quite welcome was fresh orange juice daily

This hotel is beautiful and is located in the heart of Fes. Me and my wife loved the service and our room had a very traditional moroccan feel. The staff were very welcoming and even though they struggled with English they still helped us with everything. The hotel is in a very peaceful setting away from the noisy souks. The only negatives were that the shower water was not hot enough and bottles of water were priced very high.

The hotel staff was friendly, the blue room (azul) was worth the money, but the climb up the four flights to get to the room with luggage was not so fun. Once in the room there is plenty of space and it is very peaceful and relaxing getaway from the streets of people pestering you. The riad itself is worth staying at least three nights if you must go to Morocco. It is easy to find and close to all of the small shops and tourist attractions in fes.

One may have a little difficulty locating it, initially, but this Riad, owneby Mouna and Simon, is truly outstanding, in Meknes. Exceptionally done up by a tasteful Mouna, it is delightfully run, with warmth and care. There are rooms of different sizes and needs. Each well decorated in traditional style. Highly recommended. We enjoyed our single-night stay

Pros:
- Good location. Right in front of the Medina, but in front of a parking lot, so you do not have to get lost in the small streets to find the place, especially at night
- Room is big and confortable
Cons:
- Water pressure in the shower was not optimal
- Staff barely spoke English or French, and did not make any efforts to help us throughout our stay (tours, questions). Especially troublesome considering we were the only guests at the time
