I don’t need anything fancy. Clean is all I ask. Outdated but that was fine. We came in and the stale cigarette smoke was awful. We called front desk to ask about air fresheners and she said “we have some come get it” and hung up on me. The walls were gross I was scared to touch them. Bed smelled like dirty feet and there was snots on the head board. We asked if there was another room and were told sold out. The microwave was full of pasta sauce splatter. No effort in cleanliness. Room was cheap but come on! It’s been a long time since I seen a dirty room like that.

We arrived and the desk clerk was not very friendly. The rate was higher than what HOTELS.Com said it was. The place was not clean in the halls and the room was ok but not great. There were weird bugs running around. Red with long tentacles, not bed bugs but strange all the same. There was mold on the sink stopper as well. I brought this all to the front desk clerks attention when we checked out but he just looked at me dumbfounded. Won't return.

In checking in, I was informed that my room was on the second floor. I never agreed to this as I have a lot of baggage to sort out. I was then assigned a ground floor room, but informed that the queen size beds on the ground floor were all taken. This was upsetting. I had pre-booked a queen bed weeks before. The young reception desk woman said my only option for a ground floor room was to take a room with twin beds. I became very upset. A twin bed is only 38 inches wide. She said there was nothing else or take a queen bed upstairs but there is no elevator; just stairs with all of my baggage. Trying hard to remain calm, I asked her to show me a ground floor room with these "twin" beds. We went to Room 110 to find that the "twin" beds were in fact "double" beds, being 54 inches wide - much different than her understanding of a twin bed. Under the circumstances and being very tired after a 5 hour drive, I took Room 110 with the double beds as a compromise, but not happy that booking in advance does not guarantee bed size or being automatically pencilled in for a second floor room. Someone really should inform that reception woman of bed size differences to prevent further altercations and a bad vibe staying at the Rodeway Inn. Most of the entire issue could have been avoided if she knew the difference between a twin and a double size bed. Returning to the Rodeway Inn, a week later, I was given Room 120 with a queen bed, as promised, however the bathroom smelled of urine.

Room smelled like old socks, bed sheets smelled too. Dead bugs inside the AC/heater unit, if you turn on the heat they start cooking inside and fills the room with horrible smell too.

This motel was very dirty. Rooms are small and basic. Not in a safe area of Sudbury. Upon arrival there was a person shaking from drug use running away from the front desk, after trying to get into the hotel. We checked on the staff as the person was visibly unstable. Staff should not be working alone on night shift.

Well the entire floor wreaked of cigarette smoke. Front desk said they didnt know who was smoking so couldnt do anything. You guys said we already checked in so nothing you could do about it. Pretty disapointing in general. Based on the last few stays i have booked through Hotels.com you no longer vet your vendors at all.

Firstly, there was no elevator to reach our rooms. We even asked to change our rooms to be on the ground floor but they said they were completely booked. So my old parents had to climb stairs with luggage. The staff was friendly and offered to help me carry one of my bags but not having an elevator is very inconvenient especially with luggage and for my father who had knee problem. Secondly, Upon reaching the room, we noticed that it smelled of cigarettes and urine combined. Just felt very disgusting. We also tried to call the front desk multiple times and no one picks up the call for service. So we had to buy our own room fresheners to take care of the situation. There was also no kettle, iron or hair dryer which is usually provided in all of the motels, hotels and inns we’ve been to. Also every time we turned on the air conditioning the smell came back. The checkout process was smooth. But overall lessons learned, I will never stay here again.

No hairdryer in room but there's an iron! Only 2 bath towels for 4. No breakfast. Very thin walls. Very old property that needs much renovations. Floors in room very badly damaged. However beds are comfortable and clean. Limited and cheap amenities. No water pressure for shower

The beds were comfortable but the pillows need replacing. The woman at the front desk was civil but not friendly or welcoming. The room was clean but the hallways needed vacuuming and the property needs some updating.

Great hotel for the price. Room was very updated but bathroom wasn’t as modern. Clean but worn. No elevator and we were at the far end of the hotel with no return access but the front door. Would be nice if they had key swipe re entry for some of those doors. Very quiet even though there were lots of people there

I stayed there last August and they accepted my debit visa card and this they wouldn't accepted it, i had to make 4 hout round trip because of it. I had an eye laser appointment near there , i ended up paying someone to drive my back after the surgery. They also tried to take the the payment when I made the reservation, i the check off that i would paying upon arrival. They cash ether which I believe to be illegal Canadian currency is legal method of payment. It to bad because i really ling the location and the restaurants there

Let’s say disturbing. Woke up at 3:30 am use washroom, and thought I saw a black cat in the room. And it disappeared. Was a little disturbed about that. Then seen it awhile later it was hidden under the bed side night stand. Called front desk and they wanted nothing to do with it till cleaning crew came in. Was finally able to grab it and tossed into hallway. When I moved the night table out I would say hasn’t been cleaned behind there in years.

The common space and rooms are in desperate need of upgrading. Very out of date. Cleanliness was poor, lots of dust in areas that should be dust free. The walls (interior and exterior) are incredibly thin. I could hear everything from the rooms beside my room as well as the general traffic from the near by intersection. If you're a light sleeper, you are going to have a bad time here.
