Service at reception, bar, restaurant was excellent from the moment we walked through the door.
Tents were clean and functional, just what to expect from tented accommodation.

The room was inadequately serviced with requisites.
The request to combine the twin beds was ignored until late evening
The shower taps are not earthed properly and transmitted electric shocks during showering - potentially dangerous

Bar servicd and dinner was great, room comfortable but not spotless, gardens unkept, a number of simple issues can be addressed to make this a great stopover for campers and tourists

I stayed here twice. I loved seeing the lions nearby. The restaurant is fairly good, but service is very slow. Order dinner 1-2 hours prior to when you want to eat. Rooms are spare with spartan bathrooms.
I booked through Expedia and prepaid for lodging. When I checked out, I was charged again for the lodging. Repeated calls were made to the Lodge to get them to acknowledge their error. I asked to have the charges for lodging reversed but they wouldn't do it. I finally had to dispute the credit card charge when I got home. There may be better choices for lodging in the Ghanzi area.

It was okay, but not more than that. A bit too expensive for what you get. We have before stayed at the Kalahari Arms Hotel. It was cheaper but a better total experience. We had to ask for towels, bed lamps was not working. Room was small. Pool not clean. Pictures looked better than reality. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We booked three "luxury tents" but on spot we found that they were so basic an distant (in the bush) from main campus that we manage to switch them for two small twin rooms, with such small rooms that was a bit difficult to step into the bath tube.
The water pool could be better treated, but overall the common areas of the campus are spacious and nicely decorated. Breakfast was regular.

Very nice stay
What about a coffee station in the Meru tents??

The lodge is located on the outskirts of Ghanzi. It was convenient for work in this region and a good location for traveling back and forth to surrounding villages. While we did not engage services for safari or those types of exploration, the location has ample businesses in the area that are willing to do so. I appreciated the feel of the place. You can tell that it has a history to it- there are many artifacts that appear to have been collected over time. The housekeeping service was very efficient- providing daily service and as well, on demand. One of our guests had a challenging encounter with mosquitos and the housekeeping staff came by after hours to spray his room. There are facilities for camping, rustic cabin, and more conventional rooms- a good variety for guests based on THEIR comfort level and budget. The pool was more than sufficient- we’ll maintsined and quite refreshing after eating dust all day on the road. Food was surprisingly good. The morning buffet was normal- with eggs on demand, good coffee (yes, that is important to some!!), tea, juices and a small buffet. The restaurant offerings in the evening were broad- meats, burgers, chicken and pizza. Of all the choices, I would avoid the pizza. Unless you love lots and lots and lots and lots of cheese (you get the picture), we found it difficult to find our meat on the thin crust. The other choices- especially the rump roast and skewers, were quite good and reasonably price
