About this house rental
This charming Cape Cod is big on space! It has four real bedrooms two full bathrooms and three family rooms: A living room, family room, and a den. The family room and then both have large screen TVs comfy couches and single sleeper pull outs. The dining room has double French doors that opens to a patio and a fully fenced in backyard. The galley kitchen also opens to the backyard and has a built-in bar. The kitchen comes fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. However, cooking is not required at this location as downtown Bethesda has more restaurants than days of the year within walking distance. It’s the perfect place to check out the nations capital or simply enjoy Bethesda and Chevy Chase.

We had a wonderful stay with our family, very convenient to the temple. House is located a block away from a Safeway grocery stare and a couple of blocks away from some great restaurants. Also a couple of blocks from some good community tennis courts. It checked all the boxes for us. Thanks so much

Family/friends from around the U.S. all met up in DC for our daughters graduation from American University. Rooms were comfortable and the location is great for AU. Maybe keep salt/pepper in kitchen would be my only request. Though we left some for the next folks.

Our stay at the Bradley over Spring Break was disappointing and stressful. The house is old and “quirky”, but the real issues were with cleanliness and functionality.
We arrived on Monday to find an issue with one of the 2 bathrooms that rendered the bathroom unusable and it was clear that neither bathroom had been cleaned. The 2nd floor bathroom was clogged and unusable. There was excrement left in the toilet. I reached out to the host via the VRBO app and the host did contact me that evening to attempt to remedy the situation. Eventually, the host scheduled a plumber for the following day, but we did not have a useable bathroom until the following afternoon. Instead of relaxing on vacation with family. Once the bathroom was fixed, we had to clean up the mess left behind.
In addition, the number of useable beds and bedrooms does not match the property description. Most significantly, one of the bedrooms on the main floor is not fully functional. You cannot plug anything into the outlets in that room and cannot use the lights for any length of time. Also, two of the beds, listed as double beds in the property listing, are really single pull-out chair futons in the basement.
Finally, a clarifying note - while the property is about a 5-10 minute walk to the edge of the Bethesda downtown area, it is more like a 20 minute walk to the Bethesda metro.
In conclusion, I would absolutely not recommend booking this rental.

Great location. Plenty of sleeping space for family of 6. Stayed here while visiting family for holidays. We had a great time!

Our family enjoyed their stay at The Bradley. The location is great and it slept everyone (8) comfortably. The large TVs and supply of games were a bonus for us.

This residence is both comfortable and convenient. The bedrooms are spacious and the home has all of the necessary things to make for a comfortable stay. The backyard seating area is a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. Parking in Bethesda can be a challenge, but there is a private parking place steps away from the front door. A convenient 10 minute walk to Bethesda Row, this VBRO offered my family a great getaway. We look forward to returning.
