The location was perfect, the actual cottage was lovely
Heating problem. Got sorted but should have been checked.
Dust, mould and congealed coffee in coffee tin. Quilt and bedding very poor quality . Need bedside lights. No terrestrial TV, not very happy with that

Good value for money
Nothing really

Cosy, great location and felt like a home away from home.
Couldn’t have a bath properly as it leaked outside which caused the neighbours to knock on, and there was only 1 roll of toilet roll which wasn’t great when we came back at midnight to only realise it was low.

Parking there was no parking another car was parked outside the cottage we drove round for over half a hour looking for somewhere to park we parked ten minute walk away from cottage so not a good start to our stay

We would have liked bedside lighting - we read in bed.

Loved being by the canal, property was quaint. An interesting place to visit
The stairs were a bit steep but we managed them

Kitchen well stocked.
Bed was comfy and bedroom a good size with plenty storage.
Nice view of canal and ducks.
Property is dated. Paint peeling off the wall on the stairwell. Settee dirty and uncomfortable and didn’t appear to have been cleaned underneath for some time.
Shower over the bath with curtain is tiny and dangerous

Location fine 25 minute walk to Hebden Bridge and on canal side
No designated parking as another car parked outside the house which caused inconvenience. Strong smell of damp when entering the property. The staircase and upper floors in need of decoration as signs of damp. The bathroom was tight and hole on side of panel and damage to tiles. Cobwebs in kitchen area and boiler flue exposed . The TV did not work as no signal. Overall basic accommodation which need updating

Location was great and facilities very good.
Had no terrestrial TV and asking could have been an issue

Nice little cottage ideally situated for Hebden and surrounding area.Perfect for a couple on a mini-break/weekend.Easy 10-15 min walk into Hebden Bridge either by road or along the Canal tow-path.
Not a major issue at all but the bathroom, although in keeping with the age of the cottage, could do with a re-jig.Personally I would put in a corner toilet and 'L' shaped bath or remove the bath and just have a shower cubicle.
With just a couple of little tweaks the cottage would be perfect!

The location was ideal for walking in to Hebden Bridge along the canal which can be seen via the kitchen window. Also a short driving distance to other picturesque villages. Hardcastle Crags well worth a visit. Fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave etc but nowadays these come as standard. Small milk cartons, tea bags & coffee for the coffee machine. Toiletries and a couple of loo rolls plus kitchen cleaning materials.
A few modern pieces of equipment had been added and whilst the small towels & bedding were okay, for the price charged the entire place needs some TLC and a deep clean. Plaster coming off the walls at the bottom of the stairs and hair in the bath for starters. There was no hot water at all and although we contacted the owner we didn't get a response. The boiler light was blinking red which was a tad concerning. We don't necessarily go away to watch TV but it should be available if advertised rather than just Netflix & Utube due to no aerial. The parking was extremely tight and had other households been parked outside their properties there would not have been room. All in all a 5 star price for a 3 star property which is disappointing. We only expect what we pay for and do rely on reviews & an honest description from owners, fortunately this is about the only time we have come unstuck so glad it was only 2 nights

location was ok, 20 minute walk into Hebden Bridge
Absolutely no hot water! no plug in bathroom sink, made shaving a bit of a problem. Parking was very tight and was a nightmare to get out. Not the cleanest of places, hairs in bathroom and bedroom
2.5 / 5.0
easy reach of Hebden Bridge, reasonable sized 1 mezzanine bedroom cottage
uncomfortable “fold out style” bed which was out of place as there is enough room for a better quality bed
bathroom needs some attention - flush on wc insecure, above bath shower is again poor quality, rail for shower curtain too small and grubby grouting

The location was ideal for local walks along the canal, and it was very quiet . Short distance to Hebden Bridge .
The cottage was looking very tired and in need of some tlc . We didn't like the bed. I felt it was uncomfortable. And there was a lot of light ingress in the bedroom due to a street light outside the bedroom window, needs some Blackout blinds as the curtains were totally inadequate. The bathroom was very dated toilet seat hanging off, and the bath was dirty on arrival . We were looking forward to a soak in the bath after a long walk only to find the hot water supply to the bath had been blanked off and a great big hole left in the side panel of the bath. The shower had to be turned down to a trickle to get any warmth to the water, and it was a bit of a squeeze standing in the bath with the plastic shower curtain .In the living room, there is an old leather double recliner setee that was uncomfortable with no occasional or coffee table on which to place drinks of an evening . If you try to use the cooker, the smoke alarm is continuously going off due to its vicinity to the cooker . Parking is available, but it's a tight squeeze to get in and out . With a bit of updating, this could be a lovely place to say , but as it is, we were left disappointed.

Peaceful and beautiful walks .
Cottage very nice and cosy ..big enough for 2
Has everything you need for few days stay .
We think TV would benefit from proper channels ie BBC itv ect ..even though not in all day ..could only watch a movie at night ..cottage needs few tweeks here and there ..ie .Bath mat in Bath..toilet flush , handle needs fixing , radiators need bleeding ..
Other than that great 😍
And Thank-you for tea coffee and biscuits ..great on arrival 🥰

Brilliant location.
Bath not available to use due to hot water tap. After a long walk we would have loved a soak in the bath. Also the contour of the bath is not so steady for standing up for a shower as it is not flat.

Proximity to Hebden Bridge, 20 minute to walk along the canal towpath. Kitchen was well equipped. Property was clean.
Very little room in the shower over the bath. You couldn't have a bath because there was no plug. The bedroom was very bright at night due to a streetlamp fitted 18 inches from the bedroom window. There no black out curtains or blinds. I got very little sleep. (See picture below).

Excellent value for money and exactly as desxcribed. It offered all the facilities required for a short break and i would highly reccomend it.
Perhaps just us, but we couldn't find a way of watching live tv to catch up with the news, although access to other channels such as netflix was good.

great location and very clean!
bath out of use as hot tap not connected and shower wouldn’t work properly for ages. when we finally got the shower working, it was a trickle.

Great location for a canalside walk into Hebden Bridge.
Street light right outside the bedroom window on all night. Could do with proper blackout curtains.
Very small showering space!
Need a bedside or overhead light rather than the main light.

The cottage was clean and warm and on a bus route with a good service. It was convenient to leave my car parked up and use the bus during my stay. The bed was very comfy, as were the pillows.
The electric shower was set oddly. It fluctuated from red hot to freezing cold so you had to be smart when washing hair, and not be too long as it must have been on a timer! I'm not particularly techi so I couldn't work out how to programme the WiFi for the television. There was a manual with instructions in for various items around the house, but when you are on holiday you just want to be able to press the remote and away you go, like you do at home, or indeed in a hotel or guest house. An alternative which would have been perfectly acceptable for me would have been a radio. There isn't one, but perhaps a suggestion. The only other thing was the lack of a microwave. I wanted to boil some milk and had to do it in a pan on the cooker. Just being picky, but there wasn't a small pan available. It's just the little things that make a stay more comfortable. On the whole the property was fine for a short break, I think some improvements could be made quite easily for the comfort of guests.
