Horribly uncomfortable beds, dirty rooms and mini fridge. When booking, it said complimentary breakfast, but upon check-in it was stated there was no breakfast.

Everything about this hotel was great. Friendly and informative front desk, clean room and great water view. We will not be back unfortunately because the bed was extremely firm. We felt like we were sleeping on the floor. Tossed and turned all night . If that's what you like then I would stay here. The lady at the front desk told us they just replaced all the mattresses throughout the hotel. That's a no go for us .

This particular Ramada Inn is desperately in need of renovation. For the price of the room, the carpet did not seem clean, the light bulbs in our bathroom were exposed, the balcony was carpeted and looked moldy, did not go out so can't be sure, the outside doors were open to anyone who wanted to go in, not locked & obviously felt a bit unsafe, until this place is either totally renovated or rebuilt I would not recommend it, the correct room price should have been $75 not $177.

We spent a week here and it was so peaceful and relaxing! Hearing the waves while laying in bed was serene. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. Rooms were updated and the balcony was icing on the cake. Will definitely be back.

since it was a Ramada I thought it would be nicer than what it was and it was noisy could hear people walking up above us and people talking next to us !!

The staff was very polite

The staff person was really nice. The bathroom had broken fixtures, poor lighting, no place to hang a towel and there was no vent fan. The balcony had algae on the floor. The grounds needed to be trimmed. The interior needs updating. I paid less than $80 for the night so I guess I shouldn’t expect too much. But it was off season and every hotel around had vacancies.

My stay was wonderful. My sister and great nieces stayed on Mackinac Island and came over to visit. Room was clean and comfortable. Beach was wonderful. Great nieces really enjoyed the sand and the pool. Overall stay was excellent. I do have 2 recommendations: First, the outside trash can needs emptied more often. By my last day there, it was overfull and starting to escape. The 2nd is that the lounge chairs in the pool area need replaced. Many are broken and could pinch children's fingers. But overall, I couldn't have been more satisfied.

Thought they served breakfast but just coffee and granola bars.🤔
Older hotel should probably be updated such as carpet.

I never make a negative review, but, this hotel was horrible. Our room smelled terrible, it was very musty and the carpets were damp. The pictures online are completely outdated, the outside hot tub was empty, broken and moldy. The outside decks were filled with trash and mold. This hotel should be closed down. We were disappointed that you would advertise this hotel. Do not stay here.

I like the view I did not like the tub that was cracked and I couldn’t take a shower. I asked to switch rooms and the lady did but unpleasant about it. I did not like there was no breakfast and in the pictures it showed breakfast smell in the hallways And elevator were like wet, damp smelling Needs a good cleaning and pest control to get rid of the fruit flies all over

We used to come to this property quite a few times. Last time was a few years ago. We decided to book again this year. Got the same room we had the last previous time which was cool (Room 317) When we booked, it said continental breakfast. There used to be a large dining room on the second floor, you could see it from the pool. Apparently they stopped the breakfast. The hot tub in the Crows Nest is still there but looks like it hasn't been used in years. The deck area where it's at is so full of Algae, mold and overgrowth is not only disgusting, its dangerous. The balcony of 317 overlooks this and also has Algae and overgrowth on it. At no time when we booked, were we told the hot tub was out of order (the 1st floor hot tub barely works) Our room while clean, the wallpaper was peeling from the walls and the room, the smell of disinfectant or whatever cleaner they use is over powering and only half the lights worked (the ceiling fan was a point of concern for me.
It's a shame, this used to be such a wonderful hotel, but it doesnt look like anytime was spent on the upkeep. We invited friends with us and it was embarrassing because over and over I was saying "this used to be a really nice hotel"
Thes staff was excellent from the front desk, to the cleaning crew to the maintenance man (yes he had to come to our room to take care of the TV)
But, whomever the owner is, should be ashamed as to how far standards have fallen and the conditions of the hotel

At less than $125 a night, on Lake Huron, small balcony with like a rubber tile surface that was starting to grow moss but did offer a great view.

Room was good & clean, just the carpet looked & felt old and dirty. Hallways were musty smelling but overall our trip was great and would stay there again, but get a room on the beach side. Hot tub & pool were clean and enjoyable. Service was excellent at the lobby and she was so nice & friendly. Maid was exceptional and did a great job too! I have so many ideas on how to fix this up because this hotel has so much potential!

Place was very dirty. Room they assigned us was not clean. Windows were so dirty you couldn't see out of them.
Had a dehumidifier running because room was so damp and smelly. We could not stay at this place it was unacceptable. They refused to return my payment, but i wouldn't have stayed even if the room was free. Beware rooms look nothing like pictures on website. Very deceptive. Just look at the picture I took below.

This property is Dirty and rooms smell musty. Bathroom sink plugged, light fixtures not working. Beach area filthy at hotel and partial view due to trees down.

The website there were two on site pools and two hot tubs. We only saw one indoor pool and the second hot tub wasn’t and doesn’t look like it’s been used in a very long time. The rooms were ok.

The photos are very misleading. This hotel is extremely run-down. The worst part was the extreme mildew smell in our room. Obvious water damage. Dehumidifier was left in our room so they know about it, too. Hairs found in and around Jacuzzi tub. Hair found in sheets, when we complained, housekeeping came back to change sheets again and I know the sheets were clean, but I found yet another hair. Didn't complain, just picked it off. Wallpaper peeling in bathroom with mold behind. Cardboard/paper down in the shower to hide cracks. Outdoor patio covered in moss and trash. The beach was also littered with cans and trash. The bathroom fan was extremely loud/broken. The slider was very hard to open and close. The lake water was clear and clean and beautiful. Nice beach chairs... Pool and hot tub seemed fine, just very run-down. This property needs some major love. Definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your money and go to a hotel without lake frontage, or spend the extra money for a newer waterfront hotel.

Bulbs burnt out. Nicks and dents in furniture. No breakfast. Beach trashy. Sink clogged. Dump.

Would not stay here again. Pictures of the facility were deceiving—the second outdoor pool is closed, the beach was full of empty beer cans, lightbulbs were burned out. Just seemed run down.

For the price it was very dated and run down.

The room smelled bad and musty, appliances were ancient. In the kitchenette bar area the sink had no aerator on the faucet. In the Expedia listing it says there is an elevator but the floor and room we were given had only three rooms on that floor and no elevator access. With bad knees and a lot of stuff to unload that wasn’t very good. The bathroom was by far the worse, the linoleum on the floor was either stained or curling in several areas. The ceiling fan caver was hanging down and there was black mold in the same area where the ceiling meets the wall. The shower curtain was old and very yellow, disgusting. In the morning 7:00 am (ish) when I went down to take stuff to my vehicle the front office was locked and no one was there. I had to exit through a side door on the opposite side of the building and had to prop the door open to be able to get back in. Good thing no one was hurt during that time. I feel ripped off being charged $300 for this property. I would like a refund.

False advertising- the faculty is old and tired . The outside hot tub that is shown on the website hasn’t been working for a long time and the patio they show is covered in moss and mildew. The only working hot tub is showing its age with pieces broken. It was clean, but I felt like I paid for a nicer hotel than it was.

I do not recommend and would not return. Dirty. Unkempt. Poor quality. Wall paper peeling from walls. Hot tub and pool smell and not clean. House keepers did not clean room—replaced towels but nothing else. Very disappointed.

This property is very outdated. Dingy, dark, dirty, areas in disrepair/poorly maintained. Safety bar lock on door broken in 1/2. Wallpaper peeling off walls in several places. Windows dirty enough to write “clean me” on with my finger.Definitely not worth the price at all. Beds old and uncomfortable. My entire family of 5 did not sleep well at all. Regrettable stay. DO NOT recommend.
