At check in I wanted to change the payment to a different card than the one it was reserved in but she told us we don't do that. Shower had less water pressure than the light drizzle of a rain storm we had while there. No mention of the $12 parking fee until after it was already charged to my card. We stayed two nights. On the first morning we were still in the room as housekeepers were cleaning the room next to us and kept slamming the vacuum into the wall. The one and only positive was our room was clean.

This was a great location. Close to restaurants and bars, easily walkable. We we travelling with our ebikes and rode several miles each day. The room is basic, but clean. We really liked Couer d’Alene and hope to go back some day.

Hotel was in a great location for shops, and food. Beds were super comfortable. The only thing negative was the carpet needs cleaned or replaced.
Would recommend hotel, great service!!
4.1
Great location. Just dated room and furnishings. When we arrived the house keeper had walked off her job and our room was not ready yet at 4pm. I did feel very bad for the team trying to pull it all together. They were hustling to catch back up. The service was very friendly. The room was just more dated than it appears online. The sink was broken and did not have working hot water. But we did sleep comfortably and it was a great central location. We felt very safe and Secure. They do charge for parking, $12 which it does not state on hotels.com.

Room was clean . Staff was great, but only on duty between 11:00am and 8:00pm. Faculty is older and near the water and restaurants. Rooms are extremely noisy. You can hear the traffic stop and go at the near by stop light. The walls are paper thin as you can hear your neighbors. And yes there is a rediculous $12 parking fee

The carpet was in really bad shape and stained. Coffee in the room was terrible.
I received an email after I had already booked the room that said I had to pay additionsl charge for parking. The parking should have been included in the room cost.
Everything else was satisfactory.

Convenient location to walk to McEuen Park

Very convenient location in downtown. Walkable to great restaurants and the boardwalk. Staff were very helpful.

We really liked how close this hotel was to walk down town. Unfortunately there was no staff on site until 10am, so when we needed a plunger in the morning it wasn’t possible. Why don’t hotels keep plungers in the rooms?

A great place to stay for CDA downtown shopping, dining, and swimming!

Is perfect for our needs for one night stay in the center of town

It was convenient

The staff were great, the convenience was nice. The beds were way too firm for me, sleeping was uncomfortable. The bathrooms had peeling paint that has me a bit concerned because of moisture… other than that it was a decent room.

Close to board walk and shopping

So convenient to restaurants, shops, and lake.

Very unpleasant stay, I would not recommend it to anyone. We had to check out after two nights of hell. 1st night fire alarms were going off for about an hour. Police present onsite made it look so bad like it’s a crime scene. No notice to the guests of what was going on… 2nd night construction on the road vibrated our room probably the entire building. Just horrible experience and management not willing to give a credit for inconveniences and claims they didn’t know about the construction noise and they don’t get notified when construction starts. Just awful……..we couldn’t sleep for two nights. We checked out after the 2nd night and went somewhere else. Maybe paid more but it was cleaner, quieter and very relaxing.
Just a terrible stay…. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Very nice little motel close to the local downtown action of shopping and dining.

It’s not an inn. It’s a motel. It has a very small and tight parking lot. Office is only open 10am-8pm. They have a system for late check in and an after hours number you can call. The rooms are ok. Carpet was filthy but the rest of the room seems clean, maintained, and comfortable for a one night stay. There was community patio furniture in front of our room where other guests had no problem hanging out and talking until late at night. The ladies who work in the office were very nice.

We paid for parking but couldn’t find a spot., Didn’t get a ticket at the post office however.

I was so pleasantly surprised with how nice this hotel was. Especially for the price. The organic soaps were a great touch. Made the whole room smell nice. Thank you so much for having us. We will for sure return again!

This was a great motel stay, with the basics and fairly quiet on Fourth of July weekend. This motel is located on a downtown artery, you’re able to walk everywhere. Would stay here again.

We've stayed here a few times over the last 15 years and it really is a good deal if you want to stay in downtown Coeur d'Alene without paying the CDA Resort room price. However, this time the room condition wasn't as good as it used to be and there was no staff in the office in the morning. The bed sheets desperately need to be upgraded. They are pilled, stained and thin. I'm not so sure if we will stay here again.

Small but nice clean rooms.

Very friendly staff. Room adequate but very small bathroom. Does not appear to be in the best part of town, but fine for quick overnight for the price.

Quiet comfortable clean room in city center, only a two block walk to many restaurants and the city lake park.

The location is great. Room was small but adequate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It does cost extra to park and for the pet but I knew that in advance thanks to other reviews.

Be wary when making your reservations for the Couer d’alene Resort as this is what popped up for me on expedia and I reserved it thinking that’s what this was. The name is deliberately misleading to trick people into making reservations for the wrong hotel. My wife and I drove all the way from spokane to here expecting beautiful views and amenities but was greeted with nothing more than the front of a Motel 6. And of course, reservations are non-refundable. Left with my wife in tears and had to settle for a different hotel that actually has a hot tub. Thanks for nothing.
