Mixed feelings about this three-night stay. We were happy to have a room with a kitchen, for my food allergy situation. But my husband and other family members reported the breakfast buffet was tasteless. Very loud couple/party below us kept us up all evening and we complained; they were kicked out. Lobby area is huge and wonderful for spreading out for games, TV, etc. Cleaning staff should periodically run ALL the dishes in the unit to be sure they are clean for the next person. Ours were not.

When we got on our room we noticed we didn't have enough towels for two people or coffee cups. We called to the desk and the lady at the desk told us we would have to come down and get them ourselves from her, told her no we weren't walking down there because it was a long ways from the elevator so she made it happen but it was after 10:00 at night. I I would suggest that they put two towels per person in the bathroom. Also have a coffee cup for each person that has reserved the room.

Great Hotel and location also offered valet. Only bad thing is valet was like $57. That’s kind of ridiculous but all in all great hotel.

Decent place, good location, reasonable price… EXCEPT PARKING! Come on, people, when the price of parking is literally almost 50% of the room price, you are REALLY price-gouging the parking. There are SEVERAL nearby parking lots with prices 50% lower (even if you come and go and have to break up the stay into multiple fees), so unless you’ve got money burning a hole in your pocket and value convenience over all else, skip the parking!
We also had a lot of toddler tears one night after housekeeping accidentally took my son’s security blanket (probably wrapped it in the sheets) and we couldn’t get it back until the next day. Ooooops!!

We needed a one night stay, and this was a good place. Some restaurants in walking distance also a cafe at the hotel but it was closed when we checked in around 9:00 pm. The staff was friendly and the valet didn't mind bringing the car back so I could get my book out of the car. Nice big TV, several lamps good for reading, also convenient outlets for charging phones. All staff we met were friendly and helpful.

Great deal. Super friendly and helpful staff. Room didn’t feel super new but clean. Loved having some extra space and couldn’t hear much from other rooms. Great for kids w a pool and free breakfast.

I got a great deal, a suite for the regular room rate, part of a shoulder season special. It was wonderful to have a proper kitchen. I was confused by the sustainability feature, the light switch by the front door that shut off all lights, but once I got the hang of it it was great! I didn't have to do a sweep of all the rooms, just one switch whenever I left. I especially appreciated that there aren't any individual plastic shampoo or soap in the shower, just the wall dispensers. Reducing plastic trash is a great feature!
The view was very nice, and the breakfast was great - especially having a limited diet, their food offerings covered all my dietary needs.

Great location with lovely parks/green spaces to walk about as well as shops and dining. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The hotel was festively decorated for Halloween and pet friendly!

Two queen suite was ok. Sofa bed needs to be replaced but the beds were very comfy. Confused with valet. $49 but no valet from 11-6am. If you leave hotel, you must return before 11. Otherwise you have to find parking on the streets. Breakfast was good but couldn’t recognize who were employees. No uniforms or dress code? Overall a pleasant place to stay. Plus the price was great compared to other hotels .

Found previous guest clothes in one of the drawers and the bathroom was dirty. Front desk changed us to a different room, they were really awesome about it, but second room had a sink with food left over. Also, they do not have any parking for guests available, other than Valet Parking at $50 per day, and the options for nearby parking are well known to have vehicles broken into.

We have stayed multiple times at this property. We understand that housekeeping policies have changed. What was offered was housekeeping would be done every other day. But during our 3 night stay, we received zero housekeeping. This was disappointing...and unusual. I'm sure we will be back, but hopefully it will be a better experience.

The property was well maintained, the breakfast was good the only downside is the parking but it was easily resolved with spothero, I just wish there wasn't so many homeless people in the area it makes me feel a little unsafe at night.

Staff is super nice and attentive. Valley parking experience was great, super quick to get the car. The lobby/downstairs area is really nice. Looks like they renovated recently. Located conveniently from the river, so good location if you like to walk around to explore.
The down side for us was the cleanliness of the actual room and hallways. I think they might have been low on cleaning staff.

Staff was excellent. Fairly young and was impressed that they communicated well and were so polite/helpful. Breakfast was the normal stuff and buffet style. Room were clean and looked good. There was some scuffs on the walls, peeling paint in one spot, but not sure if that was from a suitcase or chair. Overall very clean. Small frig/freezer in my suite as well stove top and dishes/utensils.
The hotel has a 2nd floor patio that you can go out onto.
the Elevator did not disappoint at all, super fast and room card was needed.
I did not like the cost of the valet. $50 is overpriced.
The bus line, metro, and shuttle bus was next to the hotel on that corner. Very convenient to get places if you don't need or have a car.
The other cost is $20 a day for incidentals. That would have been a surprise except i did read the reviews from other people.
i needed to be more on the south side of portland so this was a great spot. it was a few blocks from the river walk, Saturday market was a bit more than that. we walked to and from Powell's books store and other places in downtown.
I would stay here again.

Very clean, updated, modern property. Comfy bed & spacious room. Included breakfast looked great, though I didn't have time to partake:( Staff was friendly & helpful.
Only bummer is very limited TV options.

The ad for the property does not outline the parking situation well; parking is valet (private company) at $49USD/night, random street parking ($3/hr 8-1900, free overnight if possible, or a parking garage down the block. It is disappointing to have to pay so much for parking after paying so much to stay.
We had an incident where our vehicle was left running overnight in the valet parkade, which was resolved. However, the lack of urgency or responsibility was surprising. No one we spoke to wanted to initiate an apology, talk about the incident, or show humility about the scenario. The response to us was 'meh.' It was obvious that all the people who knew were trying to avoid a confrontation or save their own butts.
Customer service involves intentional communication, humility when you're wrong for both parties, and proactive thought for resolution. It is a difficult skill. We had to make suggestions for the appropriate resolution.
Overall, the property was fine to stay in. But to stand out in today's culture, it's not your property that makes it, it's the service that makes you want to come back and spend your money there.

No parking lot which made me feel a little uneasy about leaving my car in a parking garage!

They really should get their own parking, if I'm staying at a hotel, I shouldn't have to pay separately for parking.

Was great and everything we expected. Loved the hominess of the room and having a separated living and kitchen. Felt like a studio we were staying in. Only downside is no 24 hour valet.

I was very happy with the accommodations. I also got upgraded. Parking prices is a bit crazy, but since I wasn’t in the hotel during the day it wasn’t as bad
