Really cool funky hotel in good location downtown Portland. Front desk was very friendly, lobby was beautiful, and the rooms are huge!! Down side they charge $30 daily fee, but would definitely stay again.

The hotel was in great shape. My only real complaint was the houselessness around the hotel and general area is still pretty rough. Didn't feel super safe at times. Also, the restaurant attached to the hotel was under staffed and offered very average food with a bar that was under supplied and person who literally didn't know how to make a martini.

The room was nice and clean and the people at the front desk were very helpful. Overall a good stay with no complaints about the room or location. I do wish they'd had more information about the room service policies though. You have to give them 24 hours notice if you want room service which is fine but this was never mentioned on check in and there were no signs anywhere letting you know the policy. Also just as an FYI, the $15 you get per day for your stay to spend on something does not accumulate. It is per day so you either use it or lose it.

Spent 2 nights here this week, the location is fantastic- right in the centre of Downtown Portland. Staff were all lovely and very helpful.
My suite was beautifully decorated and had a comfortable bed and sitting area. That said, size wise it was more a large room than a suite. Ensuite was equally beautiful but had seen better days- the shower pressure was poor and the cold tap gave out hot water.
Rearaurant is ok but only open for breakfast most days meaning theres nowhere to get dinner or have a drink apart from the 3 days a week its open. There is a small selection of drinks and snacks availabile to buy at reception.
Price wise, again its ok, not great value but not extortionate. $35 daily facilities fee is added at check in.

This hotel will try to charge you an additional $100/day. So ignore whatever price is quoted online… it’s way more than that.
We arrived around midnight and had our reservations confirmed, so obviously I’m not going to go around looking for a different place to stay. But upon checkin, they informed us they are charging a non refundable $30 PER DAY destination fee. I’m not going to argue with the nice kid at the front desk since I know it’s not his policy. But I’m immediately livid. I feel tricked and cheated.
Then if you want to park here, it’s 60-70 dollars per day depending on the size of your vehicle. So yeah, with that plus the “destination fee,” plan on an extra $100 per day on top of the price listed online.
No fridge, microwave, or coffee maker in the room. I requested a fridge with the original reservation. They noted that this couldn’t be guaranteed and was based on availability. Of course it wasn’t in my room as I requested several months ago. So I went to the front desk to request it. It was delivered to my room within an hour… so it was obviously available!! They just don’t care enough to read and honor the requests.
If you don’t want to pay 60-70 dollars to park, you’ll have to park at a nearby garage or on the street… so be careful. It’s not a nice area, I would have felt unsafe if I had been alone.
To be fair, room was a decent size and the employees seemed mostly nice… the crazy surprise fees of the hotel aren’t their fault.

Everything was amazing other than the pillows and bedding smelled musty, like old man.

Service was top notch with very friendly front desk staff. The room is quiet (we booked a corner room) and the decor was attractively quirky. Everything worked as it should. Location is exactly where we wanted to be. I wish there were more towel racks and a bidet, but I'm nitpicking. Overall, a very pleasant experience. We will return.

We had such a lovely time during our stay here. The staff here is exceptional and Karla is definitely a stand out!! Ready with a smile and helpful information about the area. We were warmly greeted, by name, by each of the staff members we encountered. We had a wonderful and roomy suite with an incredible view. I think we spent more time visiting in our suite than hitting the city. It was that wonderful!! Thank you,Karla and staff and of course, The Viscount of Portland! We will be back!

Awesome hotel but city is riddled with drugs. Might be safer to stay outside if downtown area. Shame..the hotel is fabulous and restaurant was good although completely empty.

The decor was quirky and delightful. The staff was friendly. The neighborhood was challenging after the sun went down.

The resort fee really feels like a rip off, considering the “spa” wasn’t open one of the days. Also, you have to spend the $15 daily, not cumulatively.
Night staff was so much more friendly than the morning staff. Very nice workout facilities, with filtered water. Overall it’s a nice hotel, just weird to have a mandatory fee that can’t really be used.

High ceilings, comfortable beds, and a very cool atmosphere in the hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly and made great recommendations for dinner and breakfast in the area. The valets were friendly and recognized us when we were coming and going. We had a great stay and will be back when we visit Portland again! It felt like a very posh stay for us.
