Amazing location, a great pod with heating. We had a lovely stay, would recommend it!
4.5
We had a lovely stay at Badaguish. The camping pods are basic but this is exactly what we were looking for, and the kettle/sockets/fridge were a bonus. The surrounding area is beautiful, and only a 10 minute drive into Aviemore for supplies or dinner. The basic facilities are fine, there are plenty of showers/toilets and even some hotplates and space for eating inside if wanted.
The first shower I tried was kind of broken, I had to switch cubicles so my clothes didn't get soaked.
4.5
The location is stunning and the staff are friendly and very helpful
The floor inside the pod was grubby upon arrival, but overall it was fine.
3.5
Everything was brilliant except the bugs, we had to keep the door closed and windows to minimise the bites. Beautiful place though
Bugs surrounding the pods, me and the family got bitten hundreds of times.

Cozy, quiet and peaceful

Good location in the middle of the forest, nice walks in the area
It is very very “basic”. Like you literally get a pod without anything. You need to get your own bedding, you have to buy your own electricity for the room and the toilets is far away!
I had no idea about all this so had to rent out a sleeping bag from the facility that they charged me £20 for.
Not a place for me.

Pods were lovely well equipped and surprisingly spacious. Surroundings were brilliant
Shower blocks weren't the best but sufficient

We stayed in the Eco Pods. They were excellent. Very clean and comfortable. My 4yo son loved them!! Location was great for Aviemore and to visit Landmark Adventure Park. Would stay again.
Toilets were a little outdated and could maybe do with a refurbishment, however they were clean and the showers had plenty of hot water.

The pods are located within a short drive to the town and other attractions nearby.
The pod itself was sofas that convert into a big bed with another bed, kettle, and microwave available. When we arrived, there was £2.05 on the electricity, we stayed for two evenings, and on leaving, there was £2.05 still on the meter.
Our first night, we had a fire pit at the allocated area beside the pond. There is a BBQ area there, too.
In the kitchens, there were 3 toilets, two with a shower, two kitchens fitted with two hot plates, a kettle and a microwave, pots, pans, cups, cutlery, washing machine and tumble dryer.
This is our second time here, and we will possibly book again in the future.

Great location. Next to Glenmore Forest and Loch Morlich. Lots of activities nearby.
The reception staff were lovely and helpful and let us check in early when we arrived.
Be careful not to accidently wander in to the wrong building. My husband entered Spey Kitchen thinking it was the communal kitchen he could wash the dishes in. Instead of informing him of his error and redirecting him, the staff member spoke to him like a piece of dirt. Not very nice or friendly.

Nice spacious lodge with good facilities
Having more than one key would have been good

Simple, easy access and fantastic location. My favourite place to stay in Scotland
Early morning trips to the bathroom… but you prepare for it 😜

it was nice and warm and good location for all amenities, about 10 mins from Aviemore
there was nothing in the wigwam apart from a microwave and kettle, no plates, cutlery etc, also the toilet block near us was out of order and there was only one shower for 22 wigwams. the water pipe was frozen as well.

The location is just perfect. 2 minute drive to Morlich beach, 15 drive to Cairgorm mountain resort(ski resort) 2 minute drive to reindeer experience and 4 minutes drive to Aviemore village Driving into the site I was awed by the backdrop of snowy mountains. Our first night we met a family using the bbq area make sure to ask about this. You can light your own fire too. Im a keen photographer and captured some lovely night time photography even a glimpse of the northern lights via camera. So one very happy costumer here. We will most definitely be back. Thanks so so much Badaguish forest lodges.
Departing! 😂

location, friendly, beautiful views, feeling of being in nature, good access to Aviemore/ Cairn Gorm
electricity meters, bit of a walk to the loo in the dark, a bit pricey for basic accommodation

Great location and facilities, and a great setting in the trees. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were very good and the Eco Pod was spacious, especially for two people.
No, all was good and I will go back for another stay there.

Location is great.
Midge Protection-Better fly screens on the door so that you can have the door open for fresh air and ventilation in the pod in the evening would be a bonus. It get's hot in the pod with a family of four and a dog. Loved our stay regardless. Thank you

Location is perfect, very scenic and quiet, fantastic for a relaxing weekend getaway.
Plenty of parking, all very close to the relevant campsite which made packing and unpacking the car easy.
Closer toilets and showers for specific eco-pods but that is very picky.
Additionally, within the BBQ hut it would be beneficial to have some lighting.

It was very peaceful. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
