The breakfast was amazing and so was the location. It was so beautiful and calm.
A very big room with wonderful views.
The drinking glasses in our room where made out of plastic and looked a bit dirty;
The room was very clean and you see that it's a bit of an older property, but well maintained, BUT the shower needed a good bleach in the nooks. The mat in the room should be tossed out, because it was super stained from previous guests and the sofas could be tossed out as well, because they looked really old and beaten up, one even had paint spots on it. That was quite of putting.

The room was nice and clean, with a nice en-suite bathroom.
Breakfast was included and various options were available.
Although the house is not in the village, it was a convenient 20-25 min walk to the village centre, without having to walk on the main road.
It was a nice place to stay on our way back from Northern Scotland

Good location for us attending the balloon festival nearby, clean, decent breakfast and the staff were great. Lovely views
Very squeaky groaning beds, floors also quite squeaky. Unfortunately the smoke alarm light glows down right onto the bed which caused a problem for my husband sleeping, a temperamental shower which kept fluctuating from hot to cold

Location was lovely and on first impression room seemed clean, comfortable and well presented.
Booked due to the lovely quiet location and expectations of a peaceful nights rest. Unfortunately a group of other male residents affected that by their ongoing activities in the early hours. Lots of noise from paper thin walls, very creaky floors, showers, toilets made for very little sleep and breakfast contained black/white pudding only partially cooked and still in its plastic packaging so was not to my liking. Spoke to owner whose advice was that I should have rang them - at 2 in the morning? with a group of drunken men in other rooms? Unfortunately this whole experience ruined what could have otherwise been a pleasant stay.

It was clean and comfortable
Our room was near breakfast room so heard a lot of noise in morning.
Host was unhelpful in allowing us to sit with extended family for breakfast.

Location is perfect for our needs when visiting family, and being away from the road it's always peaceful. Plenty of parking, excellent breakfast, and always a friendly welcome. Bamflatt has become our default choice for overnight stays in the area
Couldn't get a double room this time and the twin beds weren't as comfy

It did the job of giving you a room
For the night and breakfast
Just a bit clinical and impersonal

I am quite particular about where I stay. This bed and breakfast is to a very high standard. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and fresh. The bathroom also met the high standards I expected. The power shower had a high pressure, towels were provided along with shower gel etc.
The breakfast was beautiful. Cereal, juice, tea & coffee, yogurts, croissants and then came the cooked breakfast. The bacon & sausage were accompanied with haggis, black pudding, tomato, potato scone, toast the list goes on. All were cooked to perfection, non greasy and fetched to the table lovely and hot.
All the staff were lovely to speak with, Margo who owns the property was very informative and interesting to speak with.
If you are thinking of booking this bed and breakfast, you can do so with confidence, there is nothing not to like.
There is nothing not to like......everything was perfect.

Exceeded all expectations. Booked last minute for a work trip and was amazed at what was offered for the price. Really comfy large rooms with great facilities in a quiet location yet close to local amenities.
