We liked the convenience of the valet service. The reception area was inviting and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We liked the wine and cheese reception and morning breakfast in the upper room with its beautiful view of the city and port.

great location. Great speaker/local historian on Saturday evening with cheese/crackers and wine. Very comfortable. Mostly friendly staff.
Room was very clean except carpet could have been vacuumed better. Second day after room service remained the same. Safe didn’t work, refrigerator was noisy so we unplugged it. Jeffrey at reception was unfriendly, however Brittany and ?Tanner were exceptionally kind and helpful. Also the 4-5pm happy hour hostesses were very nice.

Very nice inn that is situated near so many restaurants and and meeting points for tours. We were one block from the market. It was very quiet, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room. We received bottles of water each day. The staff was outstanding! The breakfast, room and location were all wonderful.
Everything was great.

This was my third stay in three years and it is always a pleasure. The welcome is always friendly and the location is amazing. Carriage rides across the street, exceptional restaurants are a stones throw, and shopping and historical sights are within easy walking distance. Parking is easy as well. We feel so at home here. The staff is very attentive and works hard to ensure a good stay. The breakfast room is lovely and looks over the harbor.
We asked for a quiet room and were placed in a rm directly at the stairwell and next to the elevator and the housekeeping closet. Every guest must come up through the stairs or elevator on their way to breakfast on the top floor so it was very noisy. Also noticed that the rooms soft furnishings were not quite as crisp as our original stay and the shutters were non-working making the room feel very dark. With a little attention to these details, we’d definitely stay again.

great location, lovely room. loved the valets, room staff and breakfast and afternoon cheese and wine staff
set up over our heads by staff from 4:30 to 5:30 was loud enough to wake us each morning .

Very beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast room is beautiful. I didn't have a chance to attend but they have wine and cheese evenings which is very cool.
The wifi just wouldn't stay connected. I had very little internet all three days. The breakfast spread was nice but I don't think the eggs were real.

Great location to walk around Charleston. Friendly and Helpful Staff. Breakfast has a lot of variety and is excellent. Room was comfortable and well set up.
Internet needs to be upgraded- very slow and it went down a lot. A Quality Inn needs to provide fast and efficient Internet. TV in room was damaged as there were lines across top half of TV. Response was that they were waiting for new TV - Sorry.

Great location—right in the center of the city. Very comfortable room. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast buffet and wine time.
A bit expensive, but we saved on not having to rent a car.

The first issue we had with our stay was that we were surprised when we arrived on October 7th evening to learn that to reach the room we booked, we had to climb a long flight of steps; there was no elevator to reach Room 216. We received no warning from Booking.com that we would be required to climb stairs. This was a serious omission as I am 92 and my wife is 80 , and it would commonly be impossible for anyone our age to climb such a long flight of steps.
The other issue we had almost immediately was the very low pressure at the faucet in the bathroom adjoining the bedroom. The flow of water out of the faucet was very low, and also it took a long time for the water to warm up. We mentioned this to the hotel clerk the next morning (October 8th). His comment was, “Well, I don’t think we can do anything about that!” And he didn’t do anything about it. The next morning (October 9th) we asked the same thing of the hotel clerk on duty that morning. He took it seriously. And said he would do what he could. A handyman to fix the faucet showed up on the 10th. THEN, we had to be moved to Room 214 on the 10th because the room key stopped working.

Location
Brittany-Called on day of check in 4 times and left message to call back twice with no response. Also we were informed that we would get a text for early check in and no message. Other staff was great!

This is a lovely hotel. breakfast and afternoon wine and nibbles was super, staff and location excellent.
Our room was very small. This we knew at booking, but we didn't realise that there was no outside window in the room. It was very comfortable so would just recommend a little care when booking.
