Very good

The hotel was too far from the main tourist area despite being listed as "City Centre" area.
The room was well-appointed. However, the carpet in the entry area was wet, smelled musty, and torn.

Location
1. Our reservations were cancelled without letting us know.
2. The AC in the room literally made us sick.

Recepcjonista był bardzo przyjazny i gościnny.
Ogólny proces zameldowania i wymeldowania przebiegł bardzo szybko i bezproblemowo.
3.5
The location.
I had to move to 3 rooms and still was completely happy the ottoman had stains all over it , the curtain rail cover had a nasty looking stain on it. The rub's paint was peeling and cracked. I had to call for a plunger(toilet backed up)

I did enjoy the breakfast and location.
My room wasn't up to standards, I understand a full house keeping us hard to keep but when I asked for fresh sheets for the second time since none where ever sent the front desk associate could be hers saying “why the do they need new sheets?” On top of that not being her place to question, there where hairs in my bedding. Overall I feel like the rooms need a revamp. My nightstand table had its handle ripped out, the door knobs for the bathroom were two different colors, and I’m pretty sure the “blanket” draping on the end of my bed was a tablecloth.

Parking was horrible
3.5
Cheapest per night Downtown stay at the time of booking.
Heat puts out cold air. Cost too much considering it’s a non luxury hotel. Bedding looks old, stained. Old roach in the bathroom which proves cleaning isn’t done thoroughly.

Everything was great

The room was nice and clean. Much better than some more expensive hotels where I've stayed in Charleston. Staff was super. Everyone was extremely nice. I liked having the valet service for my car also.
There were a couple of small issues in the bathroom but not bad. Toilet kept running and the shower was hard to turn on but I told the front desk and she put it on a list immediately.

The breakfast was good, but your parking space needs improvement.
Your coffee tasted like dirt

Breakfast every morning was very convenient. Bed was co mfortable and room was clean when I arrived.
Room was never cleaned o r tended to during my four day stay. I called the front desk for clean towels, which never arrived. I finally went to housekeeping, which was across the hall from my room, and asked for clean towels. We were charged a $15 per day “resort fee”, allegedly for valet parking, which we never used.

Ikke noget.
Hotellet lå langt væk fra centrum af Charleston. Der lugtede på gangen gardinerne var snuskede og generelt var det ikke pengene værd.
3.5
Cleanliness
Farther away from downtown than we thought. Water pressure in shower is non existent. Toilets do not flush easily.

You get what you pay for. Room was switched due to horrible order in bedding. Other then the price not much to honorable mention. It is close to the hospital, in walking distance.
The facility wasn't horrible but far from the level of standards from other Comfort Inns we've stayed.. it's in need of a complete renovation. I would say it's more like a motel 6. The Location is horrible. No place to go or eat in walking distance. The restaurant they suggested, a 15 min walk , was disgusting and riddled with dead insects. Uber or delivery is best option. Not the best option to go back and forth from the historical district, attractions, or restaurants . The money you save on the room will be quickly devoured by Uber rides.

Staff at front desk were friendly and efficient. Answered our questions, provided info on attractions, tours, free bus. Bed appeared to be clean and was comfortable.
No room safe. Black grunge in shower area. Dated. Rooms were directly behind pool area. No posted times for pool use. Noisy guests at pool until at least midnight. Breakfast was okay.
Not located in a great area (our fault should have done more research) fair distance from restaurants and attractions. Heard that cars had been broken into (no ours). Avoided being outside after dark.

It was in a convenient location for where we wanted to visit
The room was not great, the carpet was soaking wet near the AC unit, nothing felt very fresh, we were unfortunately also just in a very noisy location with our room which we could have asked to be moved probably but I didn’t realize how big of a problem it was until the following day. Nonstop noise Saturday evening, we were next to the elevator and ice machine and right above the pool. It was non stop screaming, ice machine use, and kids running around in the hallways. This has nothing to do with the hotel staff/or hotel itself it just made the stay a lot less enjoyable and on top of the room not feeling super clean or up to date it made for an all together poor experience.
I also really disliked the valet service (not the valet guys themselves, they were so nice and cool) but the fact that it was mandatory until they realized we had a broken door handle was annoying. We wanted to self park the whole time. It made me feel like an inconvenience anytime we needed something out of our car or to leave I didn’t like not being able to just go to our car ourselves. Saturday afternoon they let us self park because our door handle doesn’t work from the outside on the drivers door. We left early Sunday morning and there was no one at the front desk, the front doors were locked and we had to go let someone in who was staying there and got locked outside at around 5:30 am. No idea how long he was out there waiting to come in.
After fees and payment I spent over $400 for two nights in a wet, small, noisy room. I probably won’t book a comfort inn in the future.

The breakfast.
The pool sheas not available on day two. Then they opened it back up the next day because they had to give everyone a 20 percent discount on their stay.
the hallway on each floor was hot no a/c.
Roach came out in rollaway bed.
