Location is great, the neighborhood is quiet and safe. Staff was courteous and efficient. Nice and quiet, no issues while sleeping. Good TV channel selection, and they were able to accommodate my room request. This was my second time staying here and it's always for just one night so, overall, pretty decent.
The bed was hard, the carpet was stained, small stain on the comforter, the heater didn't heat, it was just spitting out cold air. Luckily it wasn't super cold at night, so I didn't have to turn on the heater.

Conveniently located near Univ. Of Memphis.
It could us some updating with the decor and bathrooms.
4.1
Secure location, easy check-in, staff was polite and friendly. Lobby area clean and comfortable. Room was clean, comfortable an quiet. Breakfast buffet was good and check out was easy.
Maintenance could do a better job repairing tub shower area (not a good caulk job)

Some wear and tear on the chair and the bath tub was a little stained. But not unusable.

The staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful. They made my stay so enjoyable and comfortable

The location was perfect. It would have been nicer to actually use the gated parking area. It made it more convenient, of course, to just drive in and out with the arm permanently up, but in Memphis? Safer is always better.
The front desk lady (afternoon and evening shift) was so helpful, and seem very proud to be a part of HI! That is nicer than you might think.
My reservations were for 4 people-2 adults, 2 children (7 years old). Our room had towels and washcloths for only 3 people. And zero bed linens for the pullout sofa. Thus, we got to know the front desk help well!
Also, there was a bit of trash left on the floor from the previous people.

The staff were excellent!
I didn’t have Wi-Fi which was supposed to be included in the deal from booking.com!

The pull out couch mattress had a bunch of stains on it, there were no pillows or blankets for it. The room was poorly cleaned

Nothing. We left early.
The location was safe feeling but the hotel staff was rude. The sheets were stained. The beds were both so noisy and creaky. The towels were stained and smelled like they hadn't been cleaned. The pictures make the place look nice but it is pretty run down and dirty. My husband and I were just grossed out so we had to take the loss and left this hotel and went somewhere else. I wouldn't recommend this place even for a cheaper price and seems fine but it was not a good honeymoon spot.

Mercedes was fantastic! so very sweet( even though she was extremely busy) she was a wealth of knowledge! She’s a asset to your establishment!
my sister encountered the housekeeper before we left the room to have breakfast ( around 9:00am). she was quite rude asking her if we were checking out yet! We had breakfast in the restaurant. first server was very nice. she left the premises ( we watched her grab her purse and leave) we were then totally ignored. no refills of water or coffee! very disappointing. We finished breakfast headed back to the room to gather our belongings to leave and my sister encountered the same housekeeper and she asked “Are you leaving now?” my sister just didn’t understand what the hurry was as we still had about 1 1/2 hours before check out time. we loved the hotel and Mercedes!

Melvia was Super friendly at check-in! She was able to answer some questions about my 3rd party reservation and then accommodate my request for a change.
Smelling pot multiple times in the evening and morning in the east entrance foyer, presumably from the laundry room.
Also, my wife and I skipped breakfast due to the price.

Convenient location, right next to the new performing arts center at the University of Memphis. The food in the Medallion restaurant and the Tiger Grill was excellent but overpriced. The shower had plenty of water pressure.
Stairs were covered with debris possibly from a reception and needed vacuuming badly. The room is starting to show its age, with cracks in the tub enclosure, missing grout around some bathroom floor tiles, a toilet that could use some maintenance, and several stains in the carpet. Wifi was slow and unreliable.

Rooms were very big, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. Would stay here again.
The rooms were too hot.
