Location was amazing
That we could only stay for three nights.

Very cozy little house great location
The parking is horrible had to park two blocks away. Need some blackout blinds for some windows in the room
4.5
The mattress in the main master bedroom upstairs needs to be replaced. It is completely worn out, has no support, and is sagging badly. The mattress topper is not a solution to the broken ‘structure’ of the mattress

An historic inn in a great location!
Parking availability for our truck.

Everything about the place was so cute and homey. This lil gem is so perfect and sweet, and I adored staying here.

great location.

Large house, ok stay for 1 night, lots of shops within walking distance, large rooms, clean bathroom, large kitchen with food available for breakfast
Location was not good, no parking, you will park blocks away, lots of stairs, no where to off load your bags, the spot available to off load, cars block the driveway. It makes more sense to put sig up stating the obvious. Other houses in the area have done this, so visitors dont block their driveways.
Tip: once stores close, you will be able to move your car closer. If want people to recommend your business, you have to make it convenient to all.

I loved how close the house was to everything. We stayed to go to a concert and it was only a 15 min walk to the venue. The room was also super cozy.

love the house, love the rooms. 1st time for me in the Kesey Room, 3rd time for my wife. The place is simply charming!

Quaint, quiet, cozy and close to restaurants and shops!

This guesthouse was great! it was in the exact location we wanted. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. As an early riser, it was nice to have access to coffee and breakfast when I woke up. Erika was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return.
No complaints.

it’s a lovely home - very charming —clean-
there was absolutely nothing not to like

Great location near restaurants, excellent ice cream. Morning breakfast options were varied & good. The rooms are very clean, charming in a vaguely Victorian way, and named after local literary figures. The back porch is nice for breakfast.
You have to go down the hall to use the bathroom associated with your room. We never saw any of the other guests when we did so, and the Bluebird provides nice robes, so it wasn't a big deal for us.

Good funky neighborhood. Large and modern bathroom, enormous shower.
Ceiling in budget basement room under 7 feet. Small window. Dark.
Minimal breakfast.

This was a delightful palce to stay, it is a shame it was only for one night. We could find no fault with the property. The staff were excellent.

loved the original parts of the old house. I wandered around admiring things like a vertical pocket door and the laundry shoot in the bathroom. the location is super convenient but also quite and peaceful.
4.5
Great location, easy access to transportation, restaurants and shops. Full kitchen and laundry available. Several sitting areas and generous continental breakfast.
Furniture was a tad weary and mattress was too soft and lumpy.

The breakfast was really great as I can’t eat a lot of heavy foods first thing in the morning. The fridge was always stocked and coffee was always ready to be brewed. The private bathroom I had was absolutely exquisite and the tub was amazing!! I stayed in the room upstairs that has the bathroom in the hallway and not en-suite. I absolutely love this hotel and I will definitely be staying again in the future.
The AC up stairs didn’t really let a lot of air be filtered so the room was kind of musty by the end of the week. I wish there was a way to open the window completely and let in some fresh air. Same with the bathroom. The air vent wasn’t super effective and it felt muggy in there a little bit, especially after a shower. I would have liked to use the tub more, but that may be more of a winter season thing when the room isn’t so hot.

Cute B&B house in great neighborhood near Reed college.
The private bathrooms are in a hall outside the room. It’s really not a big deal, though.
4.5
Great location near restaurants. Fun Victorian house, tasty self-serve breakfast options
Bathrooms are in hallway - but there are bathrobes in the rooms. It’s not a big deal.

Location
I had a dispute with payment that wasn't addressed. There was no one on site to talk to about it. I was charged twice for my visit.
4.5
Location was good, ample parking on the street, felt safe in neighborhood
Everything is self serve, from checking in, to finding your room, breakfast, clean up your dishes, etc. Didn’t see any staff there the entire time we were there. Rooms are quaint but carpet is very dirty and sticky so you have to wear your own house slippers

the only thing is I wish the basement bedroom had air conditioning. other than that, loved it!!!

My room and bathroom were fine, as were the common rooms. Lots of breakfast choices. Kitchen was light & clean. Neighborhood close to restaurants and a very fine bakery; and it was still quiet regardless. The people on the street were friendly and the neighborhood seemed safe.
While my room & bathroom were fine, they were not connected; had to go out into hall to access. Inside of house was fine, but front yard was shabby, not kept up. The address and sign were not visible from street and did have to go around the block to find it and around many blocks to find parking. I never saw an employee, breakfast was continental and all self serve and you washed your own dishes.

The kitchen was well equipped. Gluten Free options were available.
Although our bathroom was private it wasn't en suite. This wasn't clear to me before booking. They did provide terrycloth bathrobes however.

The location was great, lots of bars, cafes, and restaurants nearby. The house was adorable, super cute outdoor space and swinging porch, living room, and kitchen. I loved the room we stayed in, they all have different personalities and it was beautiful and comfortable. Our room had a claw foot bathtub, cute mirrors, and was very spacious. Great breakfast options such as coffee, bars, fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, and other assorted pastries. Check in was a breeze and I would definitely stay again!
Nothing.

we LOVED everything about Bluebird! such a perfect location, lots of yummy food & fun shops! We met the most amazing people and they felt like family. The staff was super sweet and accommodating. The snacks and breakfast was healthy and yummy with lots of options. We are already planning our trip back!
The basement room was a little stuffy, it was almost 100 outside though, and the room stayed pretty cool with a fan provided.
4.5
I appreciated all the snacks out, especially the gluten free ones! Enjoyed the atmosphere, all the seating areas and the front porch.
I didn’t realize our room was in the basement and besides a large millipede it was fine.
4.5
Comfy room, great kitchen with breakfast fixings. Excellent location. #2 bus goes directly downtown! Lovely old Portland house.
No complaints.
