Location and lodging was amazing!
Food wasn’t up to the quality I was expecting. Dinner was good but breakfast was bad. Pancakes were so overdone I couldn’t even cut them and the eggs were cold. Too pricey for the quality.

Every single person I came in contact with went above and beyond customer service!

Very friendly staff, A lot to do around the property, and tent was very clean and cozy.
A little on the pricy side per night

Nice staff - cool place - food onsite was good - even enjoyed disc golf and trivia !
I really wanted to like this place and was excited about booking it . But honestly it is not worth $460 a night. With dogs barking and kids crying it was not as relaxing as we had hoped.

Cleanliness, fun, beautiful location..
nothing, it was amazing

Very scenic
Lack of activities

Location to Mt Rushmore and other sights.
While we normally stay in a hotel, we tried something very different. The accommodations were clean and the food exceptional!
Not being campers, we were awakened in the night by the nocturnal wandering of a raccoon.
But the staff and accommodations are top notch!

The staff was amazing! From checking in to checking out and every encounter in between!
It was our anniversary and having such a fun welcoming made our stay even more special.
The only issue we had was we had no water most of the morning into early afternoon on our first stay. We understand that things happen…for the price we paid to have a tent with our own facilities-it was a little disappointing.

It was a unique experience in the canvas tents. The view of Mt Rushmore was cool. The food was really good and enjoyed the nightly activity which was bingo during our stay.
A little pricey since did not include meals which were an extra cost.

Location was great. We are able to see Mt Rushmore from the deck of the common area. Breakfast was delicious. I bit pricey.
I very really very nice.

While the location, and view of Mount Rushmore was mind boggling, the staff is what truly sets this location apart!
The entire crew is not only very professional, and knowledgeable but genuinely good natured and kind! Our entire stay felt as if we had our own private staff!
HIGHLY recommend Under Cover @ Mount Rushmore!
Matches were soggy because of the rain that area experienced over the previous weeks. Matches should be sealed in an airtight container.

Location great. A little difficulty in finding it. Great staff. Food was good. Birds, deer outside of camp tent.
Music was nice but a little too loud for my tastes. Never understand why speakers are needed in a small area.

Staff was super friendly. Everything was well done. Very smooth operation! We loved everything!

we are not camping folks, this was perfect! the bed is very comfortable King sized and fluffy. the shared bathrooms were amazingly clean. the food offerings where perfect and the place was at a good distance not very far from the road but enough to not hear anything.

The room the wood-burning stove and the peace and quiet
The only thing I did not like was that I had to leave I wanted to stay forever

I like the concept. clean and a little outdoorsy but still very comfortable.
I wish the menu was a little broader. but what we had was delish.

It was a very special experience to spend the night in this very comfortable campsite. The tent was well equipped, including lights and a clothes rack. Each tent has a small seating area. The paths are well maintained.
Unfortunately, our tent did not have a covered seating area in front of it. We could therefore not sit in front of the tent when it was raining. The shared bathroom was moderately clean and a lot of disposable crockery is used at meals, which no longer meets the sustainability standard.

initially stunned how beautiful
was in middle of orientation to property when someone walked through the door and said ”i am from california, we spoke to ______” (the guy that was orientating us) he immediately passed us off and chased what he felt would be the bigger tip.
1. i should be stepped on just because im polite?
2. all customers are customers, when you cater to those dollars you begin the end. those people are fickle and will get bored with you fast.
3. at least let the shower stay on for 2 minutes at a time. jeez
for californians by californians.

Comfortable, clean, great communication. Beautiful location.
I don't have anything negative

The atmosphere, the views like being able to see Mt. Rushmore.
The weather. Being overcast we were not able to see the splendor of the night sky. Also, both the wife and I use CPAP machines and while they had battery Inverters to power them, hers work great while mine go from showing fully charged to drained as soon as I turn on mine. We tried 2 more battery inverters with the same effect - so the issue may be on my end.

it was well planned and easy to enjoy.
I wish there was a way to lock your tent or even have a lock box in the tent for personal items.

Beautiful location, staff very attentive
The only negative was at breakfast, the restaurant keeps the doors open allowing bees to enter. There were quite a few annoying everyone in the restaurant. They should have screens or an an alternative for air flow.

organized and very comfortable
our bed was super squeaky so every move woke u but bed was comfortable . and the shower was burning hot
