Sophie was absolutely amazing host, very warm and forthcoming! The room was rather large but yet so cosy. The furniture might not be to everyone's taste but I thought it was really cute. The location is good, close to motorway link.
Nothing to be said here, the stay was to perfection!

Was an amazing place to stay. Enjoyed having the whole place to myself. Was able to have a nice chill evening before my graduation the next day. The place was easy to find, the hosts polite and easy to get along with, and plenty of food for a do-it-yourself breakfast! Would definitely stay again if I was ever in the area.
A lot of spiders and cobwebs were in the building but then I guess that is what you get with the type of building it was.

very spacious and comfortable . Lovely dinner at a nearby pub - as recommended by the hosts
Not perfectly clean, but no problem for us

Complete living accommodation included and suitable for single, couples or family stay.
Only that it was quite remote, but that at least made it a quiet stay! Not aware that it was do it yourself breakfast, but that was no problem anyway!

Lovely comfortable property & very well equipped. An abundance of food left for us to make our own breakfast! Shame we had to leave early & didn’t have time to cook the bacon & eggs!
Nothing. Liked it all!

The space you get for the price is staggering - like staying in a second home! The fridge was well-stocked and the kitchen well-provisioned meaning this could function as a self-catering property if desired. The location was completely quiet and the room very dark with the curtains closed, meaning I got a great night's sleep.
Genuinely couldn't fault anything!

Essentially you get not a room, but an entire fitted house for the duration of your stay. The vibes of coziness, comfort and serenity are felt there for sure. Sophie the hostess is a delight, too. Treats you like an old friend who knew you for ages.
Not that I didn't like it but you might have to cook your own breakfast (there is a fully fitted kitchen and products in the fridge, too). I liked it but someone might find it challenging.

Perfect place to stay. Home from home. Everything you need for a comfortable night away. Wish I could have stayed longer. Sophie is the perfect host. Made me feel very welcome. Fully stocked fridge, fresh eggs, bacon, bread , cereal, yoghurt, cheese, jam etc. Extremely good value for money. Will definitely book again for a quiet weekend break.
Thank you

Nothing not to like

Absolutely as described, extreme comfort and cleanliness.
Travelled for work so our stay was short and sweet.
We will be making the effort to come down early next year to enjoy some more time 'off the clock'.
Would recommend to anyone.
Nothing.

Breakfast is on a self-serve basis but there was traditional like bacon, eggs, bread etc. plus fruit, yoghurts etc, Suited my needs perfectly. The cottage is in a stunning setting on farmland in rural Northamptonshire. It is a little secluded, don't expect a supermarket or a pub within walking distance but the drive is not too far and the town of Towcester is just up the road. Lots to see and do in the area, the famous Silverstone Race track is about 20 minutes drive away.
The accommodation itself is of a very high standard, even bathrobes are provided! The rooms are large, light and airy and the setting is very quiet. There is even a swimming pool. Be warned though there are other residents in the grounds and you may occasionally get disturbed so it's not 100% private. For me though this wasn't an issue.
There is a large TV, radio, if you want it, a great large fridge, oven, microwave etc if you fancy a bit of self catering, everything you need, The bathroom is immaculate and the shower very good.
The host (Sophie) is a great lady who is also a farmer and is very interesting to talk to if you can get 5 minutes of her precious time!
All in all, I loved this place, I'm sure you will too.
Being a bit older, some doors and windows don't always close properly. Doors can slam if there is a breeze so you have to make sure to close the bedroom door etc. but this is nothing.

Excellent property with every facility you could want. Really good nights sleep. Breakfast was "do it yourself" with ample food supplied - great option.
Nothing - could not have been better
