Hot tub and Cosy
4.5
Lovely scenery and good facilities for children such as free bouncy castle and miniture park. The food was also lovely with good portions and friendly staff. I highly recommend will visit again when going to Alton Towers
The only small complaint I had was the kettle had a lot of limescale in it. But when we mentioned this the staff immediately took it away and replaced it with a new kettle great service thanks

The cabin was cozy with 2 bedrooms 1 with a double bed and the other with bunkbeds ( 2 single beds would have been better but we managed fine with the bunkbeds) Some great views across the country side. We booked a lodge with a hot tub which was fantastic. The log cabin was well equipped, with a good central heating system and had everything we needed for our weekend trip.
Overall our stay was a perfect way for myself and my 3 best friends to celebrate my upcoming 60th birthday. It rained throughout our stay but this didn’t spoil our visit.
The food and service at the Raddle Inn was excellent the food was delicious we couldn’t fault the service from all the staff who attended to us.
The outside lighting around the hot tub area wasn’t great but it didn’t spoil our stay. We did venture to the Raddle Inn for our evening meal which was absolutely delicious, there was a pathway through a gate by our lodge which led down to the pub, lighting was poor on this path so maybe some could be added. We did think that towelling bath robes would have been provided and would be a nice touch again it didn’t spoil our stay.

Our second visit here at the Raddle Inn Log cabins and we had the greatest time. Great location, we stayed in Oak lodge which is a great size lodge, good heating so lodge was nice and warm, tea coffee and sugar provided. Modern kitchen with pretty much all you need for a great break from a busy work life. Great views we even had alpacas in the field opposite the car park.
Loved the hot tub, great fluffy towels. Beds were comfy.
Went to the Raddle inn for breakfast fantastic value for money
We also had an evening meal again great value for money and the food here is really good. A great friendly team in the pub the service was very quick despite the pub being really busy with food orders.
The log cabin Oak lodge is a great size, but we did feel it was a little bit tired looking and could do with a bit of a revamp. Carpet was a bit worn with an iron mark on and also a small hole in it. No plug sockets in second bedroom and no lamp in there either. Tv quite small for the room size. I’m not sure who cleans the cabins but there was quite a bit of fluff and dust under the bed in the double room and we found a sock possibly left by the last occupants, and lots of crisp crumbs in the seats on the leather settee, mop was quite smelly and the hoover did smell as we did use these during our stay, however it didn’t spoil our weekend and it’s a minor criticism.

Great layout and private
Not the cleanest

The location was beautiful, the pub and food was lovely. The kitchen area was really nice in the cabin.
The cabin really needs an upgrade, the sofa bed in the front room was disgusting well used, old uncomfortable and full of clearly visible stains. The double bed needs replacing or a new better thicker mattress. Everything just needed updating (apart from the kitchen which was lovely). Sleep was lacking due to being uncomfortable and really cold, the heating seemed to come on for a couple of hrs at night. The smaller room seemed to be roasting hot all night and we couldn't turn the radiator down.

The staff are all very friendly and attentive in the restaurant nothing is too much trouble . The cabins are spotlessly clean with a brand new fully fitted kitchen which is a bonus . Food in the restaurant is amazing , massive portions at a reasonable price ! Menu has plenty of choice to cater for everybodies needs , vegetarians , gluten free Etc . It is Very close to Alton towers .

The room had plastic wrappers and bottle caps from the previous guests.
The neighbours were playing loud music.
The shower head kept slipping out of the holder making it difficult to shower.

Location is lovely, the pub is great and does excellent meals. The views from the lodges is great. The lodge was quite comfortable and very clean
The mattresses could do with an upgrade

Lovely little cabin, beautiful views, great place for locality to Alton Towers.

Two rooms, a good make of travel cot, dining table was big enough for us.
Sheets on the single bed could have been newer without stains and bobbling.
Unfortunately I found some unwanted items from a previous occupier.

View from the cabin very picturesque. It was behind the inn up a hill so was quiet and not overviewed. The staff were very helpful and fixed a couple of problems very quickly. They were out checking the hot tub early each day which was reassuring. The Inn did meals which we tried one night which was good value for money and we liked the old style of the building.
Had to ask for bedding as only double and one single bed prepared. I had given the details when booking to state it was myself and two teenage children staying. This was fixed straight away so only a small error.
2.5
it was in a quiet location and the pub was friendly with nice food. room was clean
The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever experienced in a hotel. I know these are log cabins and you expect rustic, we were in number 3, Everytime you moved the bed creaked really loudly, The mattress was uncomfortable and at the very least a comfortable bed is expected on a night away

Amazing location, cabin was well equipped, hot tub was amazing
Staff were not particularly Friendly or welcoming which is a shame as that was the only thing that let the place down.
Could do with a new double mattress and TV in bedroom

Everything was excellent!!! Clean, comfortable.
We enjoyed this place, I will definitely come back again. Just one thing I felt uncomfortable is the open fence around the house. When I come out from hot tub people can see me. Whatever, I will suggest this place to my friends! We'll done guys.

Lovely cabins behind a nice pub. Very peaceful.
It was clean but definitely needs a freshen up. Not a complaint, just an observation.
4.5
We read the reviews prior to our stay & so didn’t have high expectations however the cabin was a little dated (except the kitchen) but was exceptionally clean & comfortable. It was a bonus having the hot tub. The pub on site also had great food. We stayed here as we were going to Alton Towers for the day & the location is a short drive away.
Overall, definitely worth the money.
Wi-Fi was a bit intermittent.
