Great location and excellent food.
Shame about the busy road, but ask for a room that faces away from it.

There was a disturbing commotion in the middle of the night. Shouting and arguing in the corridor. Woke me up, very disturbing. A real shame. Is there any security??
Woken up in middle of night. People walking up and down corridors shouting and arguing. No security at hotel. Very disturbing and worrying about security

Breakfast was lovely. Thankyou. Infact the whole stay was just perfect for myself and partner who came away to celebrate his 50th and kid free night. We don't live far but never experienced the spa and a sleep over. Staff were helpful when checking in, spa and in the restaurant. Give yourselves a tap on the back. Thankyou. Xxx
We are not one to moan but the mattress in room 206 was uncomfortable. This didn't ruin our stay though.

although I booked a gluten free breakfast the choice was limited so we ate somewhere else

Room was comfortable and good facilities. Hotel itself was a little labrythine and hard to navigate.
At dinner asked for a choice of sauce with main but not told this was extra. Sneaky way of making more money. Food good and rooms good.

Beautiful facilities and gardens. Staff very pleasant.
Breakfast always cold, as we're the plates.

Dinner was OK
My room was very noisy overlooking the A53.
Overall the stay was poor value for money.

The location was good except that the view from the room itself was not that great. That said we were just stopping overnight on a long journey so that didn't matter
Half eaten boiled sweet on the bedroom floor. Chip on the carpet in the restaurant in the morning. Cleaning and hygiene scores low.

The bar staff really made this visit for me, so helpful and understanding. Stayed in the pub side of the hotel and couldn't hear any noise from below. Brilliant location and loads of parking.
