About this cottage rental
The cottage, close to the church and water meadows, is situated on the owner's property and has good facilities and parking. It is on one level and suitable for people with walking difficulties. It has one bedroom, a shower room and an open plan living, kitchen and dining area, as well as a small private outdoor patio with table and chairs and a barbecue. We are dog-friendly.
I am happy to welcome parents with children and, for infants, can provide a travel-cot with bedding and towels and a highchair. I also have a sofa bed in the bedroom for an older child or extra guest and would provide an extra dining chair. Let me know if you require these and I will set them up before your arrival.
Ufford has two very good pubs in the village, The Ufford White Lion and The Ufford Crown, both only a few minutes' walk away from the cottage. There are also some lovely countryside walks to be found on the doorstep. Only 3 miles from the market town of Woodbridge which has a large choice of pubs, restaurants and coffee shops, as well as riverside walks. The archaeological site of Sutton Hoo is also on the doorstep. About 30 minutes' drive to the beaches, shops and restaurants in Southwold and Aldeburgh. Close to golf courses, fishing lakes and popular bird watching spots, Ufford is perfectly situated to be able to explore Suffolk.

The whole process of renting Potts Cottage was painless. Great communication with Christina ahead of arriving. The cottage was perfect, there was nothing that we said, oh we should have brought … along. Very well thought out accommodation and beautifully clean. Would love to visit again for the tranquility of the place. Many thanks.

Lovely location with just a 2 minute walk to the local pub which serves great pub food and had its own micro brewery.
Hosts very welcoming

Would recommend this property. It has everything you need and more for an enjoyable stay.
The property is well looked after & nicely decorated.
Christina the host is very welcoming & helpful and although we didn’t need anything we knew she was there should we require anything.
The property is located in a beautiful village close to a church. It’s out of the way just enough to feel like you’re away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life yet close enough for days and evenings out.
There are plenty of places to visit locally & shops, restaurants a shortish car ride away.
All in all would definitely recommend & would happily stay here again.

The cottage was perfect for my wifes and my 5 night stay. The cottage is very cozy with bunches of character situated in a beautiful and serene setting. The cottage was decorared nicely, ad everything you need for a stay and we enjoyed the artwork. Our host was great; she provided welcoming gifts and also had tea, coffee and milk for us and was very nice to speak with. The location is very peaceful and just a few minutes from shopping, restaurants and you can even walk to a pub within a few minutes. The cottage is a perfect place to stay for exploring Suffolk and beyond. You can also access walking paths right from the cottage to go out and enjoy the countryside. We will definitely stay at Potts Cottage when we next return to the UK.

The cottage was perfect. Beautiful location and stunning property with everything you could need and more. The thoughtful gifts on arrival were well received as was the fully stocked kitchen. Games and a little lending library in the lounge, as well as blankets, towels and treats for the dogs were a lovely addition.
Just simple little touches made this property 5 star. Things such as coffee pods, brand new dish cloth and sponge, tea, coffee, sugar, frying oil, cling film, flashlight, spare wellies etc. made this place a home from home. Often when visiting holiday homes, I have to pop out to get something, but Potts Cottage had everything you could think you might have needed and more.
I would 100% return and recommend this lovely cottage to all.

We arrived at the cottage after a few days on a boat on the Norfolk Broads. Everything at the cottage was faultless. The dog enjoyed her morning jaunt with the rabbits in the nearby churchyard and made friends with the older resident brown lab!
Set in lovely surroundings with decent pubs etc nearby. The area is ideal for walkers (which we are not!) we tend to drive to places of interest and unlike Norfolk found a few but some were only available at weekends. Overall a nice relaxing break.

The cottage was ideal for our stay, set in a beautiful setting and peaceful village. It was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed several countryside and riverside walks directly from the cottage. Snape, Aldeburgh and the coast are within a short drive.

We stayed here for 7 nights and if we ever return to England from NZ we would certainly stay here again. Potts Cottage has everything one requires. It is beautifully appointed and even has a washing machine/dryer. Christina was very helpful and quick to come and help when we asked about the heating for example. We highly recommend this as a great place to stay.

This was the second visit with our two dogs and it didn't disappoint. The cottage is welcoming and cosy. Christina was there if we needed any help, but didn't intrude. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. The area is great for discovering Suffolk and it's beauty. There are 2 pubs serving very nice meals within walking distance. Great stay, we will be returning

I stayed at this property to attend a wedding nearby and it couldn't have been more perfect. The property was immaculately clean and well appointed, with charming personal touches and elegant furnishings. There is a beautiful cosy atmosphere and real homely feel to the place. I can't remember the last time I slept so peacefully! Nestled in a gorgeous Suffolk hamlet this property is a slice of heaven. Thankyou so much for a wonderful stay I'll definitely be back!

The accommodation was spacious, clean and cosy and included all the creature comforts of home.
The cottage was adjacent to the main house surrounded by well tended grounds owned by Anne and her daughter Christina who were obviously keen and knowledgable gardeners.
They were warm and friendly and made us feel very welcome during our week long stay.

It was a really enjoyable stay in a very quiet location. It was good to stay in a place that was dog friendly with secure outdoor space for our dog. The host was willing to vary our booking from the start and for this we were very grateful. We would recommend this property and host.

Great property, so well set out and endless facilities inside, a real credit
to Ann who was a great hostess, you could not have asked for more. The location was perfect for getting about and the two local pubs a big plus. Anyone staying with Anne would be more than satisfied with their stay. Thank you Ann.

We throughly enjoyed our stay in this comfortable cottage. The property is located in Ufford which is a very pleasant peaceful village. Good of road parking. Two excellent pubs close by. We spent most of the week cycling around the quiet lanes. Wicket market is only three miles away with amenities, good cafe & excellent butchers. Definitely a place we will return to. Many thanks to our host Ann & her daughter.
Regards Andy & Ellen from Grantham
