This is our 3rd time renting this gem. We are veteran renters on Coeur d’ alene Lake. While smaller than some of the cabins we have stayed in, this home is by far the easiest to unload and the beautiful flat beach access and dock is second to none. Much of the lake is surrounded by a steep embankment and often cabins have many steps to off load and even more steps to get down to the beach. Additionally, the beds are very comfortable, it has AC, and is spotlessly clean and easy parking for additional cars. You can go for ice cream in Harrison about 20 minutes south or in to Coeur d’line 20 minutes to the north. The owners are lovely and always accommodating.

Beautiful and right on the water. Do recommend AWD for the road down to the cabin. Beaches are a little rocky so water shoes are good to have. The cabin is small but well stocked. There is construction work happening next door so it can be a bit loud at times. Overall, exactly what we were expecting. Our family had a great time on the lake. Thank you!

My husband and I and our little dog stayed 2 weeks. Great location to The Trails of the Coeur d'Alene, and a few good hikes. The lake view is spectacular. The cottage was very well equipped but not alot if storage for food supplies but we made it work. The dock is great for sitting on or docking a boat. My son and daughter in law came to visit by boat and the dock was perfect. It is a little windy in the bay. There is a nice covered deck so if you have a day of rain there is still an outside spot to sit.
The cottage was very clean. We enjoyed our stay.

My son and I (and our dog Sadie) enjoyed our time at Henry's imensely. The cabin was immaculate and the location was perfect for us. We towed a bass boat and was able to park our truck and boat safely behind the cabin just off the access road. Parking for our rig was a little tight right next to the cabin. The neighbors nearby were very nice and the cabin was well appointed with just about anything we needed. We would certainly stay here again.

It’s a very lovely setting! The view is spectacular!! The first day, I saw a young eagle just out from the dock catch a fish and fly away with it!
It’s a very peaceful setting with friendly neighbors!
The parking was difficult—4wheel drive is a must. Also, remember your water shoes!

We loved the lake front with a large beach and dock. The views were beautiful! The house is small but cozy. Unfortunately there was no comfortable place to sit. We used the patio furniture foot stools for inside the house. New couches would be nice! We had it all on our 23 night stay, wind, smoke (lots) and rain. Loss power for 4 hours the second night. Not enough storage for that long of a stay. 2nd bedroom had cleaning supplies in its closet so no usable closet there. Small dresser, bunk beds very uncomfortable, felt like sleeping on rubber sheets. Main bedroom closet was good. Smallest queen bed I’ve seen. Bathroom was good, nice size. Water pressure iffy. Washer/dryer worked great. Loved the deck in front of the house and the under roof patio for storage. Be careful coming off the deck stairs no handrails. And the stairs didn’t go all away across the deck there was potted plants there so you don’t fall off!
There was one picnic table and 6 sun chairs. No unbrellas. There was supposed to be blow up paddle boards and a paddle boat. Had neither one. Sand is like small gravel and big rocks in the lake so water shoes is a must. Water was fantastic! Pattie was fast to address our concerns. What we wasn’t ready for or told there is construction going on right next door! :( But all and all a beautiful place for a short stay with not a lot of people! Patti was kind enough to give me a nights refund so we could leave a day early to beat the holiday traffic home!

Everything was amazing from perfect home, location and neighbors. We stayed 12 nights with family and brought our boat. Did get windy a couple of days so make sure you have good rope and safety bumpers to prepare. We will be back! Thank you for sharing your home.

We had a group of family and friends rotating throughout our stay. Everyone had a wonder time! The location is perfect, and the beach was amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

This property was everything we wanted. Plenty of room for a family of five, with all necessities provided. Per prior reviews I brought two things that made our stay that much better, kites for the kids (we had one windy day out of six) and water shoes (water line is rocky-plenty of sand above though). There is ample shade and sun on the property and inside the home was cool and relaxing with views of the lake. The only problem was a neighbor's large unleashed dog that decided to repeatedly mark his territory in the yard and on our water toys and visit our leashed elderly small poodle, getting him riled up🤦♀️we believe they were also renting and on vacation and this in no way reflects on the owners of this property. Just a reminder to please leash your pups

This property was perfect for our little family. We had some issues with cleanliness when we checked in. We reached out to the owner and she was very quick to respond and made it right. Otherwise, everything was perfect. The road to the house is winding and about 20 minutes from the Interstate. We needed to make sure we had all we need before getting up there. I cooked all our meals, using the kitchen to its fullest. The kitchen had all the cookware and utensils I needed.
The private beach was clean, our burn permit was very easy to obtain, and location was serene and picturesque. We would stay there again! Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful lake destination for families
My family had a magical time here for 5 nights. The beach, water depth, and dock were all great for adults and small children alike. There is a bit of a drive to Coeur d'alene but it's a scenic one. The firepit was wonderful at night to sit and over look the beautiful water. Definitely recommend a stay here if you're looking for a quiet relaxing time.
There are neighbors right next door but they are wonderful!! Mike and Norma lent us firewood and told us we were welcome to use any of their lake toys as well. They were just awesome!!
We'll definitely be back!

Nicest little cabin on the lake!
We love this place. This was our second year. The ease of off loading is unmatched. On Lake Coeur d Alene. The beach has a gentle slope and neighbors are friendly.

Early June vacation
This property was everything we had hoped! It is a lovely house with it's own private beach area. Great location. Beautiful lake view and access! The house was stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable week long stay. The owner was quick to respond when we did have a question. Such a perfect vacation!

Great property with a spectacular view. Basic necessities included which was so helpful and cut down on our packing. Deck, grass area, beach and private dock were very kid friendly.

Great beach, views, kid friendly
well appointed, clean home w great beach and dock. our chihuahua and doxie loved it, easy to launch Hobie kayak from property, AC worked great, wifi, dish TV, DVD player, well stocked kitchen, trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, high end TP (my son pointed out), loads of towels, great deck and propane grill, parking was good for the area, I could have gotten 3 cars in easily tho a bit steep w gravel if 2WD. waves can build pretty big if wind is right, but I tied up a jetski at a diagonal and it weathered waves well, beached the Hobie TI easily. Tap water not the best tasting for drinking so Id bring some other H2O. Great place IMHO

great stay with no dining table
Great location, nice neighbors. There is no dining table inside or outside, which left me speechless. We finally found four foldable TV dinners tables, but still, even a small table where a family could have a meal would make things so much better. The closest grocery store is at least 40 minutes away by car.

A little Slice of Heaven
This is a great little lake home that actually accommodates 6 adults well. The kitchen and bath were well appointed, and the bedrooms had comfortable mattresses. The AC was great for what was a very hot week. We brought a base and a large umbrella for the end of the dock as it would have been very hot out there worthier some shade. We already have plans to return.

Best View on Lake Coeur d’Alene
This intimate cabin has a stunning view of Lake Coeur d’Alene and a beautiful sandy beach with dock. It’s perfect for a couple’s getaway and fully stocked with everything needed for an enjoyable vacation! We thoroughly enjoyed our 10-day stay, as did our Golden Retriever, and we’ll definitely come again. Thank you!

Peaceful Beauty
Our stay at this cozy beach cottage was amazing. The listing says sleeps eight but 4 would be perfect in our view. The house was spotless, nicely furnished and had a well stocked kitchen. We didn’t get the wifi info ahead but eventually found it. Instructions for trash was vague but again we got it taken care of as best we could.
The beautiful view and surroundings made for a very relaxing and peaceful stay. We highly recommend this beach cottage as a destination.

Loved
This was perfect for what we wanted -a relaxing getaway. There were 3 of us - 2 adults and a teenager- plus our dog. The pictures are 100% accurate. Beach is wonderful - sand. If more than 4 are staying, bring a card table to eat at - we were there for Thanksgiving. Very clean, lots of supples, felt very comfortable. Can’t wait to come back.

We did enjoy the lakeside retreat. Wished all the windows had screens so the fresh night air could have entered. The bunk room bedroom got warm at night and not the best mattress. The master room was comfortable but some sort of pump went on randomly throughput the day and night which was annoying during the night. A small place but totally fine for the 3 of us.

Great vacation cabin for our family
Wonderful cabin with a fantastic beach at CDA. We loved being able to sit on the dock but still be close to the water. Gentle, sloping beach into the water. Everything is exactly as it looks in the picture. Really nice dock. Patty was super helpful and prompt responding to any questions. We look forward to staying there next summer!

Clean w/ walk right out on the beach
Owners were very responsive and friendly!! Not sure I would try to stay there with 8 adults as there really just wouldn't be enough room / seating . 4 adults and two toddlers , fit just fine though !! Recommend!

A great get-away
Our overall stay was wonderful. Pattie has all the supplies you need to ensure you have the best stay possible. Everything was very clean. You have a washer/dryer and dishwasher. She also provided great TV service and internet. Cell phone service was outstanding too. Of course, we came to see the lake and what a view we had! Just walk out the door, onto the sand and there's the water and a very nice boat dock. We had 4 adults and 2 young children. There is 1 queen size bed, a bunk bed with a queen on the bottom and twin on the top, a pull out bed from both the couch and oversize chair. There is only one bathroom but we made it work :) Pattie was very pleasant to work with and communicated right away either by phone or text. The neighbors were friendly too!!!! Thanks Pattie and Henry!

Summer Vacation
This was a lovely property to stay for 10 nights. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the morning breeze off the lake. The property is only steps from the lake so it was nice to sit there in the afternoons and evenings. The owners were quick to response to any questions and allowed us use of the paddle boards. Thanks for a great time!

Super little cabin with fun sandy beach had everything we needed!
Really enjoyed this little cabin on Driftwood Bay. The cabin was small but had everything we needed. They did a good job of using just about every available storage spot and it was really very well equipped. We also had plenty of supplies and backups as needed. The upgrades to the floor and kitchen counter top are very nice. It would be wonderful if screens could be added in the front windows so we could let in the lake breeze without the letting in the bugs. There are screens on one bedroom window and the kitchen window so those were appreciated! The owner and her family were terrific to work with, helpful and friendly but also let us have our own family space. Neighbors on the other side were also very friendly and shared lots of things with us. For boat owners, this bay does tend to get a lot of wind and waves. The name Driftwood is fitting (we had a log come in while we were there). The regulars all have boat lifts to prevent the wave action from beating up their boats. We tried tying ours to the dock but it would not work for several of our most windy days. The dock is nice though with two ladders. There are plenty of deck / beach chairs that were wonderful for sitting out on the nice sandy beach and enjoying the sun during the day and at night the glorious stars!

Lovely little cottage
This was a great place for our family of four to call home while we explored the lake. This home is about 650 square feet and truly has an amazing view and beach - one of the best I've seen on Coeur d'Alene. It is advertised as being able to sleep 8 "easily" - personally I feel it would be tight with any more than a family of four or five trying to stay there. Clean and comfortable.
The only things missing are an outdoor table - the side porch would be a perfect place for one - and perhaps some lake/sporting equipment. As a family that flies in to vacation in this part of the state, we have stayed at VRBOs that provided these items and appreciate it. While the owners did not provide any, the neighbors were kind enough to share a few floaties, and some friends in the area stepped up with a few other items.
Overall a great little spot!

Wonderful lakefront cabin and home base for exploring CdA
Had a great stay at this clean and cozy lakefront cabin. Location is about 25min drive from downtown. We enjoyed the expansive views from the sandy beach and dock. Owners and neighbors were friendly and accommodating. Great spot for exploring all that the CdA area has to offer: Mineral Ridge for hiking, Centennial Trail for biking, downtown for shopping and restaurants.
