La ubicación
El alojamiento no nos gustó para nada, todo súper dejado. Sucio. Los armarios no tienen puertas y está todo lleno de trastos, has de estar durmiendo en la habitación con el cubo de fregar, la escoba etc

The location was very central
Lack of hot water, and uncomfortable beds
1.0
Location is excellent but the flat is very poor.
Flat was dirty. Dust in lamps and light fittings. All wardrobe doors were broken and hard to open and close. Bedding had blood stains on (we have photos). Stains on seating in living area. Stains also on the cushions that were on the beds. All roman blinds were broken and lob sided. My four poster bed frame literally swung from side to side, it was not stable and someone had tried to drill some screws into it to 'fix' it. Windows let in so much noise from outside. Living area is not functional as seating is very uncomfortable, TV is tiny. Living room is useless if you need to actually spend time in the flat. We struggled to sit comfortably as a party of 4 and watch a film in there. Lots of items in the flat are broken or in disrepair... little care taken for it's upkeep.

clean , comfortable and location was fantastic .

Great location, very central and close to main attractions in the old part
TV could not be used (Amazon was mentioned in the manual of the house but nothing was connected to any HDMI port and TV didn't seem to have Wi-Fi, cable TV didn't work either) as well as the Google nest to control the temperature inside of the apartment (could not connect). Luckily we felt it was warm enough and didn't need to adjust the temperature. We wrote the ALTIDO Team. They wanted to come back to us and forwarded my email but we didn't get any response in time. The apartment was refurbished some while ago, water tap in the bathroom is dripping, some cracks in the tiles, sliding doors not properly functioning etc. (things other people also mentioned). Furnishing is OK but is not the highest quality. We also felt that at night it can get quite noisy because of intoxicated people passing by. The single-glazed windows couldn't prevent the noises. Not ideal with an infant that was with us. Overall I think the higher ratings for that place originate from a time when the apartment was newly refurbished (pictures on booking). In the current state how it is and also taking the location into account its a solid 7 no more and no less.

very close to all attractions
3 pull out bed very uncomfortable and only 1 bathroom for 5 people .

excellent location. flat was clean and warm.
would have been nice to have a welcome pack ie milk and toiletries. however a minor thing.
the bathroom window doesn’t shut completely and bathroom was freezing cold due to the weather. blind in kitchen doesn’t go down far enough so no privacy from the flats opposite and for the people sleeping on the sofa bed.

Perfect location.
That's it!
When we arrived the apartment was freezing (temperature below 16 deg) . A maintenance person was sent and stated it was working, however it soon transpired the problem hadn't been fixed. An emergency electrician/plumber was dispatched and fixed the problem. However we had to use extra heaters to warm up the apartment which remained cold throughout our stay. We were told that the people before us had already complained about the apartment being cold, clearly no notice had been taken!
There was additional bedding available however we noticed that it was stained, as were some of the blankets on the bedding we were given.
Plugs are dubious at best, with gaps around them. Cracked tiles in the bathroom, marks on the carpets. The pretty pictures of the site do not reflect the standard of the apartment.
Sorry but being freezing for 4 nights and finding cleaning is not 100% is just not a place we would revisit let alone recommend.
Finally, the building next to ours was undergoing repairs, no need for an alarm clock... the workmen will wake you up without fail around 7:30. No double glazing will also ensure you hear all the drunks passing by at night...

The location was great and the apartment was mostly nice.
We weren’t told there would be building work going on next door so was woken up by drilling at 7 every morning. The stove was locked and still wouldn’t unlock after following the unlocking instructions. We were told someone would come out but they never did. Foundation and various other stains were all over the duvets and as well as a few on the covers. There were feathers on the bedroom floor and the windowsills were covered in dust. The apartment definitely needs some tlc there were broken radiator covers, wonky/wobbly bed posts, a few floorboards sticking up and light switches were covered in plaster. If these things were fixed it’d be a stunning apartment.

We were a group of 5 (2 men and 3 ladies) and got ourselves to utilize both rooms--the ladies got the bigger room and fit well, although there was a sofa bed but didn't get to use it as a bed during our stay. There were lots of mirrors, which was somehow good. We had 2 blowers, which was good for the ladies. We had enough pillows, linens, and towels provided. The wifi connection is good too during our stay. They gave us free face masks too, like a good pack which was already enough during our 5-day stay. Best part is they let us adjust the heating during our stay which is also quite impossible in most areas/room you'll book. A bonus of the castle view from the rooms' windows, whether at night or morning and the presence of dishwasher on the unit which is quite uncommon for booked rooms. Also, when you get outside the place, there are pubs, restaurants, and groceries nearby as it is just few steps away from Grassmarket area. Thinking of somehwere to eat is not a problem if you stay in this area.
We couldn't get to have a privacy at the toilet at first due to the window that couldn't shut. We did a make-shift anyway just to cover the gap The water was really dripping continuously in the shower bath halfway our stay. I informed the landlord/agent straightaway but they weren't able to address this straightaway. Also, when we used the kitchen for cooking, there wasn't any proper kitchen knife that we can use apart from the basic table knife which we really struggled. The TV we never used it because we struggled with the log-in with Amazon and it was lagging really bad with us, ended up not using it all because of that. The TV was the room's downfall.

The property was in a great location. Close to many restaurants and the royal mile. Everything they said would be at the property was there.
Since it’s so close to restaurants and night clubs, it was loud throughout the night. You could easily hear the people walking by. The bathroom could have been cleaner but all other areas were clean.
9.0
Location, space, cleanliness of the apartment. Cleaner still at property when we arrived.
Very kind friendly and helpful
The apartment was fantastic value for money. The only hiccup was that there was no television signal. That god for amazon on the phone

Location was great. The host was great at getting back to us. Check in and out with key system was easy. Beds were comfy. Had everything we needed.
The TV was impossible without your own amazon prime account. The host was great at getting back to me. But we still struggled with it. The noise outside was loud. With deliveries and road works. Pans needed updating. Car. Park was an extra £32 a day. Which even with free outside parking between 6pm till 8.30am on street outside flat.. we had to pay as needed to park during day.

WHAT A VIEW!!!
Fantastic Location, Grassmarket bars & restaurants 30 seconds walk away, only a 5-minute walk to the Royal Mile.
Parking available (Hourly or Free for Blue Badge) on Kings Stables Road, NCP car park just down the road too.
2 good size bedrooms, Living room area with Sofabed & plenty of seating, Fridge/Freezer, Oven, Hob, Toaster, dishwasher & washing machine in the kitchen area.
TV with an Amazon firestick, no Freeview, so you would need an Amazon account.
I took my own firestick, so we were able to watch tv when the weather was definitely Scottish
Could do with extra pillows. as there was 6 of us in the apartment, we didn't have enough.
Pubs closed at 2200 (COVID rules) so noise was not a huge problem at kicking out time, but could be once back to normal!

Perfect location. Lovely apartment
Nothing about the property but the extortionate parking prices made the visit very expensive

These guys have been terrible to deal with in a time of turmoil - we couldn’t go due to COVID yet they would not refund, and when they told us we could change dates they want us to pay an extra 50% - and we are moving from peak to off-peak!!!! Absolutely terrible! And then to rub salt into the wounds they sent us numerous messages asking us about our stay and offering us to stay longer at a discounted rate!!!! The worst of all the 15 accommodation providers we dealt with for this cancelled trip!!!
