We can vouch for the reviews others have made. Great house, great location and well equipped kitchen. We were attending a wedding at the Bar Harbor inn. Able to walk to venue and other town sites. Enjoyed many days at Acadia park as well.

We had a fantastic stay at this home. Great location that is quiet and just steps from town. Beautiful space that fit a number of adults well. Parking for more than 2 cars is difficult, but everything was basically perfect.

Really great location. Everything in bar harbor is walkable which is great so you aren’t dealing with parking. Easy access to activities on the water and to the national park. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Host was easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend.

The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed and more. The proximity to Acadia was supreme. It was an easy walk to the grocery store, bike rental shops, the explorer bus and to Bar Harbor shops. A fun place for a getaway with friends.

This beautiful, roomy, home had everything we needed and more. I’ve been using VRBO for many years and countless trips. This is the best find so far. Location is perfect, home is clean, and anything and everything you may need is supplied.

We loved the house and proximity to both town and Acadia. The grocery is around the corner with reasonable prices. There are 2 bakeries and a french restaurant very close by and are delicious. The town green and the Harbor areas are a 5 min walk. We were traveling with myself and husband and 4 20’s kids and the house fit us perfectly.

Great location with all amenities you could want. Plenty of room & very clean.

Overall very positive stay in Bar Harbor. The house was perfect for 2 couples. It was unfortunate that the stove had a broken knob that forced them to shut off the stove/gas but communications were very good on this problem. Property location is extremely convenient to the park and to downtown Bar Harbor (less than 3 blocks). We were also relieved that the park was open and the government shut down had been averted.

There were 11 people exactly at this wedding by the seawall, and, oddly enough, the dining room table could seat exactly that. (We moved the lovely desk in the foyer to the top of the table and the newlyweds sat there--and there was still lots of room to to move around!)
Such a lovely home, with clean and pretty rooms. The bathrooms are so well arranged. The third floor has sets of twin beds, so it's better for children. The kitchen is well stocked (and yes, there is a lobster pot and claw crackers).
And right in the center of Bar Harbor!

We loved our stay. This was our second year at this house. The home was clean, comfortable and convenient. Great for large family groups like ours. We had 11 people. It’s very walkable to town. A great starting point to visit Acadia park.

This cozy cottage is very clean and thoughtfully equipped. The kitchen had everything you need and there was even a drawer for baby /toddler dishes, utensils. There were games, puzzles, books and toys for toddler through adults. There are beach towels and a cooler. Our family of 10 was very comfortable. The location is perfect -a quiet street within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the harbor. A trip to remember!

The location with close proximity to shopping and dining is the #1 reason we loved this property. Walking in Bar Harbor and not having to find parking was ideal.Additionally, it's very convenient to Acadia.
The house is very well stocked with lots of bonus amenities like extra towels, linens, kitchen supplies, etc. There was more than enough space for our multi-generational family of 8. We often utilized the back deck area with the table for 6 plus Adirondack chairs while having breakfast and evening cocktails.

This home is a terrific place to stay. The location was quiet and yet steps away from all the excitement of Bar Harbor. The house is phenomenally well equipped - the best I have ever stayed in. Every thing was thoughtful - from the kitchen which had every convenience (including toddler dishes and cups!) to the comfortable beds and sheets and lovely absorbent towels. Whenever we needed something we would discover it in the house! There are games and books for everyone from toddlers to grandparents. The supermarket is steps away, too. Thank you to whoever set up this house and made it such a terrific place to spend a vacation.

Great in town location, but very quiet, too. Walk anywhere in town. Home is spotlessly clean, and easily handled our family of 11. Kitchen has everything you could ask for. We stayed 5 nights and based our outings to the Park from here. Can't say enough...

We loved our time in Bar Harbor and the location of this property was great for all that we wanted to do! The home was well equipped with everything we needed! We did send an email requesting some information about a specific thing we wanted to see while in Bar Harbor and did not hear back from the property manager. That was a bit disappointing. The home was great though!

This home was in a perfect location! Easy walk to restaurants and all the shops in bar harbor! The home was well stocked! Down to beach towels! Close to the park!! Highly recommend the sunrise on Cadillac summit! There were 7 adults and one child and we had plenty of room. Could accommodate a couple more! House was decorated nicely and it appears to just been remodeled !

The location in Bar Harbor is excellent for walking to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The neighborhood was quiet and very low traffic, as it is on a dead end street. The house was stocked with items for your stay- pans, spices for cooking, toiletries, dish soaps, even a few bottle of sunscreen in case you need it. My family with adult kids enjoyed the game selection. Beds were very comfortable and the house is large and spacious. Off street parking in driveway would be important with the new Bar Harbor parking rules requiring permits for street parking during season. Check out instructions were clear and left in the house. The only suggestion would be more full window coverings in the bathrooms for some privacy. We stayed in early May just before the season started. About half the stores and restaurants were still closed, but the crowds were minimal and no wait times and parking in Acadia Nat’l Park at all must see (or do) spots was a breeze.

House was great for our party of 7 adult women. If it had been warmer we could have walked most places. Enjoyed our stay.

This was such a perfect house for spending the holidays in Bar Harbor with our adult children. Tons of space, great location, nice office area with good internet and extra monitor, totally stocked kitchen with everything you need to make any meal. The house is older, but in the most charming way. Just what you’d hope for when vacationing in Maine! My only suggestion would be to add a rug for shoes near the backdoor during winter.

We had a great stay in Bar Harbor. The house had lots of character and charm and was fully stocked with books and board games for us to enjoy. The location could not be beat, within walking distance of town but on a quiet street with plenty of privacy. We would definitely stay here again!

Great property with plenty of room to spread out in the house. Easy walking into town and all conveniences. Would highly recommend.

We had a family wedding in Bar Harbor and my sister and I rented this house because of it’s central location and the number of bedrooms. We have adult children and we were not sure how many of them would be joining us until the last minute. The house can sleep 12 and is very well stocked with towels , bedding and the kitchen has everything you need to cook at home .There is a bathroom on all three floors. The central location is great to walk anywhere in town and there are many restaurants, shops and activities to explore . The neighborhood is very quiet. The house also has games for all ages , cards and blocks for younger children.
I highly recommend this property and I would love to stay in this wonderful welcoming home again ! Thank you Steven

We love staying at this house. It is a lovely home and a great location. Every year the owners make upgrades to the property. The agent was exceptionally responsive when we had a couple of issues. Thank you!

Great house and location, but this house is in a very quiet neighborhood house, it is not a good rental for couples. We were 4 couples who hadn’t seen each other in awhile. First night, second couple arrived late. We were just talking in the living room with windows open because it was hot. The neighbor came over to tell us we were talking too loud. What? We were inside just talking, no tv, no music.
Two days before checkin we were given the “checkout instructions”. These instructions were not just for checking out but contained other useful info such as, please respect the noise ordinance, if it’s after 9 bring the party inside. Agsin, we were inside and just talking. It would have been helpful if these instructions had been posted on the listing. We would have had second thoughts about renting it. Needless to say it was not a relaxing 2 week vacation for us as we couldn’t be ourselves in fear of the neighbors complaining.
Also, there was a problem with the doorknob on one of the bathrooms which caused people to get locked in it. Property manager was unable to get someone to fix it during our stay but did give us a refund for a night.

Our stay was great. We came in for a family wedding at The Bar Harbor Club. The house is near downtown, the grocery store and Frenchman’s Bay. There’s most everything you need in the house although as warm as it was it would be great if there were ceiling fans or extra fans in the entry and living downstairs. We ended up buying two fans to make the downstairs tolerable. The A/C in all the bedrooms was great. I will say if convenience is the goal this is it. If you prefer privacy and space, I would stay out of town.

Perfect for the Family
This house was nicer in person than in the pictures. the location is prime for walking around Bar Harbor. My cousin stayed on the top floor with her 2 girls and they loved it. there is also a toy room/office perfect for work from home.

Beautiful house in Bar Harbor
Beautiful, spacious, well-equipped home! We only had to get food and cooked all our meals there. This house is a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!
