We very much enjoyed our time in Maggie Valley at this cabin. The porch and the view are spectacular and we greatly appreciated the quiet atmosphere and rest that the place affords. One of our favorite cabins we have rented so far in the area.

Nothing fancy, but just fine for us.

We come up to Maggie Valley every year at the end of april for the Minitruck Nationals car show. This cabin fit our needs/wants and was overall great. Hot tub was wonderful and we really loved the big back porch. When we first arrived we didn't have any toliet paper but one quick phone call to paul and it was fixed in 5 minutes. He was great anytime i called with anything. Our stay was enjoyed. The driveway is a little small but we made it work. With the weather this year we didn't get to enjoy the outside fire pit but it was a nice set up. We can't wait to start looking for next year. Would def recommend this cabin to anyone!!

We had a lovely stay! Location was beautiful and cabin was charming. Only call out I would like to make is that the cabin is not a true 4 bedroom as advertised. The 4th bedroom if off of the kitchen and is a very small room that has just enough room to fit a queen bed (no closet).

We loved our stay at Fox Loop! The biggest pros were the deck, view, and hot tub. The cabin felt very private and not in a “neighborhood.” The rental company was very responsive and easy to work with.

Our family loved spending Thanksgiving at the cabin! There was plenty of room for everyone, and we had everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful holiday.
4.7
Perfect location for our family vacation. Everything was clean and in working order. Internet, hot tub, fire place and all appliances worked great.
4.7
Perfect getaway for couples. Nice and clean and close enough to town but far enough to feel away. We loved the firepit!

Highly recommend Can’t wait to stay again Everything was beyond expectations Didn’t wanna leave

Property is all one level and easy for our 80 y/o parents to move around.
The view is beautiful.
Do not expect internet ir fast phone service.
This was great for us because we wanted to interact more with family and enjoy games, laughter and conversation.
Bring your own paper products like toilet paper, paper towels & plates.
4 bedrooms, all 4 mattresses are different levels of firmness.
Dust bunnies, not too bad. Windowsills need some cleaning, but so do mine.
Yes, we would recommend this cabin.
Nice stay for what we wanted to celebrate.
Fast response to messages.

This was a great getaway for college friends to reconnect and relax. It was quiet and had a beautiful view and the sound of a creek below. Two of the beds were harder than we preferred but the others were great. The deck was amazing. The owners responded quickly and accepted feedback graciously. A nice stay for a small group for sure.

Very clean and quiet cabin. The view was blocked by trees but thr huge porch was still our favorite gathering place for the family.
4.7
Was a beautiful place and a wonderful trip with the family. The view is beautiful and a great location.
4.7
very nicely appointed, great deck with good view, only negative is I would move the fire pit forward about 6 feet so chairs could face out to the mountains.
4.7
We stayed 6 nights. The location was great for all the things we wanted to do: hiking, rafting, Gatlinburg, Ashville, Cherokee, sunsets and sunrises. The view from the deck was gorgeous. The place was well kept and a lot larger than what I thought it was going to be. The "locals" were so nice and friendly. You definitely have to check out some of the local stores. It is a steep drive up to the cabin but what do you expect you're on a MT. We used the deck a lot. Hot tub and bonfire pit were great too! We did not run out of things to do in the area! Thanks for letting us stay!

Nice clean and comfortable cabin.

Overall we enjoyed our stay, but would have preferred something more private. Listing was accurate, it's my fault for not asking specific questions before booking. Property includes 2 other cabins and we shared a driveway with 1 of them, so we had more people around us than we'd hoped, but had the general area to ourselves for the most part. I don't imagine most people take a trip to a cabin on a mountain to have neighbors, but maybe that's just me. Again, not the fault of the hosts, just a heads up for anyone like us who's looking to getaway from people.
The cabin itself was nice, stocked with everything I needed for cooking, great view from the deck, we enjoyed using the hot tub as well. Basic cable and the wifi worked well enough to post a picture or 2. There's plenty of hiking areas and rock shops nearby and Waynesville is roughly 20 minutes away. The only critique I'd like to offer is there was no paper towels, we were left an empty roll. It would have been nice if both bathrooms were properly stocked with toilet paper. I'd also recommend putting hand soap in both bathrooms and the kitchen, it would have been much more convenient.

The cabin was pretty much what was advertised. As noted by many others the internet does not work well. It was not a surprise to our group but is definitely something to know for the next customers to plan for. Additionally, there were mice in the cabin. There were traps out in the kitchen that were not safe for young children to be near. One evening we did not have the lid on the trash and the next morning we could tell that mice had gotten into it. Also, there were mice droppings in several of the kitchen cabinets. Aside from a small pest problem, great cabin, would rent again.

Had a little trouble checking in but all in all my family and I truly enjoyed our stay. The views were breathtaking and we got to see some light misty snow, which was a very big deal for us being from Florida. Clean and cozy, the perfect spot, we will definitely be coming back!

Property was exactly as advertised. The location was conveniently located to town, yet extremely private.
If you’re looking for a break from the demands/stress of life, look no further! We found complete peace and quiet at this adorable property.
My husband and I literally hugged the porch & hot tub goodbye. We are considering booking in the fall, how beautiful the mountains must be from the awesome view! Also, we want to return to see some elk! FIVE stars… great place to relax & rejuvenate. THANK YOU!

Overall property was as described. Great back deck with great views.

Our family had a wonderful time! The cabin was clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. Plenty of things to do in the area, but the big draw is the quiet and the view! :) We cooked most of our meals at the cabin. Dogs had space to run around and we all enjoyed sitting by the fire each night. My only complaint is that the bedroom by the kitchen was very small and would get very cold unless you kept the door open at night. My brother didn't mind keeping the door open while he slept though so it was not a huge concern.

Our stay was so peaceful and the views were beautiful. Saw lots of elk on our drive out from main road.
4.7
Great location and cozy home!
It definitely needs new beds, though. Broken back every morning when I woke up 🥴
4.7
It was very nice and relaxing. Weather was great and we had a great time.

Wonderful service

Very clean, great property! We were in love with the huge deck and scenic view.
4.7
The only drawback is no paper products are f
furnished and the trash disposal is on the renter.

Myself and my family and doggo had a great time here! My kids loved how deep in the woods it felt at the cabin and I think a lot of it had to do with the environment and woodsy vibe the interior gave to match its scenic surroundings! The wife a I enjoyed every early morning and late afternoon on that porch listening to the woods around us. On our very last night we were visited by a pair of elk which bedded down for the night below the porch!! We will be back again for sure!

The four of us friends found the Fox Loop cabin was comfortable and offered the Mountain View’s we wanted. We drove the Blue Ridge Pkwy on our way to a day spent in Gatlinburg. Took a LaZoom bus tour in Asheville. We had the Maggie Valley Festival on our list - Hurricane Ian had other ideas. It was cancelled. So off to the casino we went. All in all, great stay!

Very enjoyable

The home was very cozy and comfortable. It was perfect for the getaway we needed.

Well first and foremost I would like to mention that when we arrived the cabin was wide open and unlocked. It smelled of something burnt. The tvs were on in 2 rooms. We tried to call, because it sort of scared us and didn’t get an answer. There are huge potholes on the way up, so I wouldn’t drive a small car up. Be prepared to back up and back to make the tight turns. The reservation charges were more than expected and not the same as provided by Vrbo. Also be prepared to haul all your trash home with you or pay per bag to have it hauled up, so we basically cleaned the whole cabin for the cleaning person. There was trash left from those before us on the porch. I also had to request our security deposit back. Otherwise it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t what I a felt like was advertised. I probably wouldn’t stay here again, but if you like simple it is simple. It was not close to Cherokee as we were told when booked, but we made due. We went for a conference for work and ended up staying a lot further than we thought we were. Being pregnant, the smells that I think are just part of the house and all the turns in the driveway and the mugginess in the house was a bit uncomfortable and I found myself throwing up. A lot. Also, it was not welcoming to find so many signs with instructions all over the house. The directions on the shower wall when the shower wouldn’t turn off, was helpful but it would probably be better to just get that fixed because we still couldn’t get the shower to turn off when we followed them. It seems like quite a few people have enjoyed this place, but blame it on a group of professionals staying there. It wasn’t our cup of tea and we aren’t exactly uppity.

Our family, adults and children, enjoyed our stay and had everything we could have needed and more here. Kitchen is very well stocked from dishes to bakeware to utensils... it was perfect for any need our diverse family had. The bathrooms were very clean and nice sized. Bedrooms are cleN and comfortable. The porch was our favorite place. We even enjoyed the games in the living room. Valuable family time!
4.7
House was clean and comfortable. Road to house was rough but expected because of the mountains. Could not use Wi-Fi but Directv was good.
