About this house rental

Upon first entering the house you will say what I and everyone else has said, 'oh my gosh what a view.' Split level home located on the main channel of Lake Hamilton. Spectacular lake view from the living room, master bedroom and 100' lake frontage. The house has a covered dock for boating, swimming and fishing. Relax on the lower level deck overlooking the lake and grill your favorite foods or enjoy a quiet evening watching the breathtaking sunsets from the upper level balcony which is easily accessible from the living room with no steps involved.

Enjoy the lake view from the king size bed in the Master Bedroom on the main level. Second bedroom on the main level boasts antique EastLake furniture originally brought out west on a wagon train.

Beautiful hardwood floors throughout the main level of the home. Kitchen, dining room, living room and full bathroom are located on main level.

The lower level can be a separate living area for watching TV and enjoying the lake view or a third bedroom with a queen size sofa bed and bunk beds for the kids and a full bathroom with separate powder room.

Quiet and secluded, centrally located close to shopping, dining and entertainment. Be sure to visit Bath House Row located in historic downtown Hot Springs National Park and Oaklawn Park racetrack and gaming center.

The house was very clean and cozy and the host were amazing. They made sure the house was clean from the guest the night before and even let us in 3 hours early. We will definitely book again. It was super easy to talk to them and access the property.

It was great we loved the property! We loved the view. It was close to everything! Just watch the step down out of basement bedroom into laundry room. And out of bedrooms into living room stepdown. The view from living room is amazing!

Great place to stay. We will return. Absolutely no problems. Great view and close enough to whatever you want to do. No doubt this is a great property to stay. Wish we could havestayed longer. Very clean and well kept. Could not have asked more.

Beautiful view and access to swimming in lake and dock. Bring soap for showers as it’s not provided Don’t advise for elderly due to floor plan has lots of levels throughout house

WoW ! The view here was great. It did rain/drizzle while we were here but what made it great is that the balcony has an overhang. This was great because we could still sit outside and not get wet. Loved it !

We had such a lovely stay at this lake house! The location couldn’t have been better! There ended up being only three adults on this trip but the house sleeps at least 10. The beds were comfortable and the bed linens fresh. The outdoor space - phenomenal! Having our own little spot on the lake was perfect! Craig and Sharon were great hosts, seeing to any needs if they arose. We left a garage door opener there….and they’re kindly mailing it back! Two call outs: this house has different levels on the top floor - you step down a step from the kitchen or up a step to get to bedrooms or bathroom. So if elderly, be careful. Secondly, the kitchen is well stocked but could probably use some attention in the cabinets and drawers. Our trip was great! I’d stay here again! Thank you to Sharon and Craig for your hospitality!!

House was nice and well maintained. The wood in the Living room was beautiful and it has a huge picture window looking at the lake. Home has older charm to it and was very unique. Property Owner was quick to fix a minor issue with the pilot lite going out on the hot water heater, and was very nice. I would definitely stay again. My family and I had a great time.

It was so nice to know that if we needed assistance with anything, there was someone available to help us. My family and pets enjoyed the beautiful serenity of Lake Hamilton. Captains Retreat has the most beautiful views and supplied us with everything we needed to enjoy and relax. Sharon and Craig were gracious host. Thank you Craig for telling us about the Fourth of July fireworks that we were able to view perfectly from the dock. We definitely look forward to our next visit.

We had a fantastic time, and what a great location! The view can’t be beat. You can get to all the nearby attractions in less than 20 minutes. The house was super clean. You can tell the home owners really love the property. Yes, there could be updates, but we certainly didn’t mind the retro feel of the bathrooms. We swam every day and there was even a firework show over the lake for Memorial Day! What an awesome surprise! My one complaint is that there isn’t a safe railing on the outside stairs. Scared us to death with our 2 year old wanting to walk up and down the stairs.

My family and I had a terrific weekend at this home. The views of the lake can’t be beat, and the location is quiet yet super convenient! This is an older home, and I appreciated its quirkiness that is often missing in modern homes. Loved the hardwood floors. The layout was perfect for our needs. I wish the weather had been a bit warmer, so that we could have enjoyed the 2 decks more! We are talking about returning during a warmer month. The only downsides are minor. The guest bedroom could use a new mattress soon. Thank you! We will definitely return.
