Enjoy sitting under the stars at night with a cocktail or roasting marshmallows around the fire pit. Cook on the gas grills with side burners, or just play a game of horseshoes
5. We also have two very nice outdoor showers with hot and cold water, and a dressing area
6. Sea View Haven is a beautiful 2BR second-floor nonsmoking apartment located approximately 125 feet from the beach. Enjoy having an ocean view from the living room, a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need for your cooking needs (except the food) including a small rattan table and chairs and an eat-at breakfast bar, two queen bedrooms, and a bath

All the rates shown are family rates. Rates quoted are for up to four people with an additional charge of $50.00 per night per person for up to two additional.
PLEASE NOTE: This apartment will only sleep up to six people. OCCUPANCY IS STRICTLY ENFORCED. Sorry, I must post this due to a few reservations that understate how many guests there are and then just have them show up. I want to be sure everyone is aware of the rules. Having more guests than stated will result in you being asked to leave with no return of money paid and being charged for each additional person. Overoccupancy places us at risk of losing our rental license.
Failure to commence tenancy will result in the loss of any money paid and any balance will be due to the owner.

Our TVs are Firestick and Roku. We ask that you do not download any movies or apps that have a fee unless the fee is charged to your account. If you have Netflix, you may sign into your account to watch. Any charges that get billed to us will need to be reimbursed to us. NO EXCEPTIONS. There is always a notice informing you of any charges before you download.
In the event of power outages, loss of cable, internet, appliances, tv failure, or any offered amenity, there will be no reduction in rent. A technician will be called ASAP.
Also please note that VRBO now charges a service fee on top of our rates which will be added to the total. We have no control over those fees and do not receive any revenue from their fees.
Check-in time is 4:00 PM (NO EXCEPTIONS). Our cleaners have this window of time to get our apartments ready for the next guest. Late check-out after 10:30 am will result in the charge of an additional day. This extra time is needed to get everything done to ensure everything is ready for the next guest.
We offer a DOG-FRIENDLY ONLY apartment (sorry, no cats due to allergies, no birds, reptiles, snakes, monkeys, miniature ponies, pigs, etc) accommodations for approved dogs (pet fee of $40 per night/per dog applies)!!! Since VRBO will only calculate for one dog, a payment request will be sent for additional dogs. Dewey Beach is pet-friendly for dogs on the beach before 9:30 AM and after 5:30 PM during the summer season and any time after September 15th – May 15th. We are the ONLY beach town in Delaware that does allow dogs on the beach in summer. We will provide a copy of our pet rules. Dogs must have a Dewey Beach dog license which may be purchased at the town hall at 105 Rodney Ave., YOU MUST LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE BRINGING A DOG PRIOR TO COMING!! Showing up with a dog without notice will result in doubling the pet fee. Please note: our pet fee is per dog per day-night so if you are bringing more than one dog you will be invoiced for any additional dogs since VRBO doesn't have a way to select the number of dogs coming. No dogs are allowed on or in the property unless the fee is paid.
Now that Covid-19 is not as bad, our beds will again have mattress pads, pillows, and our beachy comforter sets. You will need to bring your own linens and towels as we do not supply them. if you don't wish to bring them, we can provide linens and towels for a fee.
You are accepting our rental agreement by reserving. Please read it over carefully. Your safety is our main concern, and every effort is being made to make your stay as comfortable and worry-free as possible. There are security cameras in place.
We do recommend that "Cancel for any reason trip insurance" be purchased in the event your reservation needs to be canceled because ensuring your vacation is your responsibility.
WHAT TO BRING: Dish Clothes, Dish Towels, paper products, trash bags, soap, bath towels, sheets, washcloths & toiletries. Please bring appropriately sized sheet sets. All the beds are queen size including the sleeper sofa.
CLEANING: We take pride in offering a very clean nonsmoking apartment and appreciate your care to make sure it stays that way. We have cleaners come in after each guest leaves to make sure everything is ready for the next guest. You are expected to perform normal everyday cleaning, take out the trash, run the dishwasher, and put the clean dishes away. It is the responsibility of the GUESTS to make sure the apartment is left in the same condition as found. Additional cleaning will be charged additional fees.
WIRELESS INTERNET is provided by an outside company and is free of charge. While this service is provided it is not guaranteed and we are not responsible should it not be available or for any problems that may occur from its use. WIFI login information will be provided prior to check-in
Off-street parking is available for 2 vehicles, one behind the other in the spot marked B on the building. No more than two vehicles may park in front of the building. No exceptions. Prime location in Dewey Beach
My husband and I rented for a few days for a beach getaway. We chose this property for its proximity to the beach (literally less than a minute walk) and it was dog friendly. The fenced in backyard was huge, but had a lot of stuff scattered around so you'll want to keep a close eye on your dog if you let them off their leash to make sure they don't go snooping in something they shouldn't. There was also a standing water feature, which meant lots of mosquitos - be sure to take bug spray if you want to enjoy the space!
While they weren't an issue for us, the stairs leading in/out of the 2nd floor were a little steep and could be problematic for some (older dogs with hip problems would struggle). The living space was fine, and the kitchen was stocked with most basics you would need if you choose to cook (pots, pans, plates, cutlery, etc.). The two bedrooms are pretty small and there wasn't much space besides the bed and a dresser - wasn't a problem for us though since we spent most of our time outside!
All in all, would consider returning to this property again in the future.

Nice seaside retreat
We stayed in apartment B with our pups. The unit was up a flight of narrow stairs. Overall, the location was great and has ample parking for guests who may need to purchase day passes. The beach entry point was not overly crowded, which was nice.
Everything was clean inside and the people were very nice- they have an on-site unit. The unit could use some updates as it is becoming worn and outdated. The common area is large and fenced, but cluttered; All that said, would stay again.

Can’t beat the location
Perfect for 2-4 people but challenging for more as there isn’t a lot of space to move around. Has everything you need to cook and eat in, but is walking distance to restaurants (and everything else) in Dewey. The sofa bed mattress is very thin so we put sheets on the sofa cushions and my daughter slept with it in couch form. Upon leaving after an enjoyable week, I spoke with Larry and pointed out some things that he may want to check out (broken box spring and bad mattress, burned out bulbs,). He was very receptive to the comments which I hope will make it a little more comfortable for future renters. If you rent unit B, know that you must turn off both bedroom window AC units before using a hair dryer or other hair appliance, otherwise the breaker gets tripped and you have to go in the common hall to reset it. If you have problems with stairs, unit B is not for you since you have to walk up a full flight to access it.
The location could not have been much better…just a few houses from the beach!

Perfect Location!
This is a cute little apartment in the most perfect location. It was great for me, my husband, our two small children, and our dog. We could easily go to and from the beach in just a few minutes, which was great with small children. It was just enough space for us to spend a much needed week away. Thank you!

Wedding anniversary retreat
Dell was phenonmenal to work with for our 40th Anniversary weekend that came together at the last minute. We enjoyed our stay at her apartment. It was perfect for the two of us and our fur baby. We were steps to the beach. Walking distance to restaraunts, etc. We did sunrise on the beach and sunset at the bay. Both easy walks. We were able to have am coffee while watching the ocean from the dining table.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, close to beach!
My wife and I had a great experience staying here with our dog over a weekend. The location can’t be beat, and we were on the beach within seconds of leaving the apartment. The apartment itself is clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was also surprisingly quiet (we only heard the neighbors when they were coming and going). The owner was very responsive, accommodating, and great to work with. Thanks for a great weekend at Dewey!

Cute apartment steps from the beach
Nice property for a family of four or two couples. The back yard is spacious and has plenty of seating, easily rearranged to maintain social distance for the occupants of multiple units. We like Rodney Ave: far enough from the bars and venues if you want some quiet, but still only a few blocks walk for easy access to the “action,” if that’s your thing.

So close to the beach!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was neat and clean and had everything that we needed. It was just a few houses from the beach so my family could all come and go as they pleased throughout the day. Plenty of good restaurants were within a few blocks, so we were able to walk to dinner and ice cream every night. And our dog was allowed to come with us, so we took long walks with her on the beach in the evenings. Perfect getaway.

Great weekend getaway!
We scheduled a weekend getaway for a small bachelorette party. We were interested in Dewey because of the activities, restaurants, and the beach. This house offered a great central location! It was cute, offered a comfortable place to stay, and the owners were easy to communicate with.
