Most exciting vacation, bears were seen every day. The cabin was beautiful. Will definitely come back.

Cabin very nice and easy to get too. Would stay again.

The property was gorgeous. We even got to see a bear come right down the driveway while we were sitting in the sun. We enjoyed our time in the hottub. Was a great 10 day stay. Would love to do it again.

Just got home from a four night stay. There were four of us. My wife and I, her sister and her sister's husband. We're all in our 60's and we were beyond comfortable. Our business has us travel to the Gatlinburg area 4 or 5 times a year and we prefer to rent a cabin over a hotel so I've seen a LOT of Gatlinburg cabins. The Mistress is absolutely among the best.
It's hard to tell where to start. The porch is laid out so you can always find a shady place to plop down in a rocking chair and enjoy the gorgeous views. The inside was perfectly clean and comfortable. The beds themselves were REALLY comfortable. We travel with a Roku so that we can get our Netflix and such and the Wi-Fi signal is so strong that there was never an issue streaming. Plenty of plates, pots, pans, utensils, etc to take care of your family. Nothing has that "worn out" look you see so often. Bonnie and Chancy obviously take great pride in the cabin and it shows!
The location is right between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge so it's convenient to both. (If you're headed to Gatlinburg, take the Gatlinburg bypass instead of the direct way. You'll save time and come out down at the Park end of town where it's super easy to find parking!) The drive to the cabin is an easy one and the cabin is easy to find.
One last thing. We had the opportunity to meet Chancy when he came by to cut the grass and a friendlier host you will never find. Awesome stories and just a great guy! Probably the best part of the trip!

Mistress Cabin was perfect for 2 couple was very clean and 10 min.from Pigeon forge was great too,the only thing i could say was a little challenging to park a truck with 12' trailer to unload 2 motorcycle on a hill . oh and the wildlife the last night we pull up on motorcycle there was a mama bear and her 1 cub in front of cabin ( so cute ) and a bit later as we were loading the motorcycle another mama bear with 3 cub showed up in front of the cabin so great to see .I would definitely rent this cabin again but without the trailer . Thank you Bonnie

The only surprise was the steep climb to the cabin. Once we went up and down once we were OK!

Great cozy cabin in a perfect location! We had a wonderful long weekend in Gatlinburg, and the cabin was a perfect home base.

Everything was perfect.

I am thoroughly disappointed with our stay at the mistress cabin, a better name would be mistake. We don't make a ton of money so to waste it on something that was supposed to be relaxing was awful. First impression, the deck needs a good sweeping and the outdoor furniture needs a thorough wipedown and then some. It was gross, we didn't want to sit on anything. We also noticed the spindles on the deck were too wide and our dogs escaped on multiple occasions. Once inside we thought things were looking up. However on closer inspection this was not the case. This place has never seen a deep clean. My husband had to clean the toilets and baseboards around the toilets and I had to dust. I just left home after cleaning for three days to come on vacation. I don't see myself getting paid for my work on "vacation". The front door does not shut, you have to slam it to get it to close all the way. The mattress was hard as a rock, I actually got hip pain from laying on it. There was an awful overpowering room "freshener". It was so strong I had to hide it in the laundry area while we were there. Upon getting ready to leave we were asked to do some chores, I have never had this ever at a VRBO property. THe laundry area light was out so I had to use my phone's flashlight to see the washing machine. I really considered going home on day 2, but my husband said we paid too much. If I were anyone looking at this place I'd wonder who's reviewing it. Lesson learned don't believe the reviews

Great space, nicely done and in a great location

The location was very quaint and perfect for 4 people to stay. The provisions for your pet was perfect also. Such a great location between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We loved the wrap around porch even in the winter. It was a wonderful stay, and I would do it again!

The over all stay was great! Clean and very nice. Comfortable beds and the hot tub was very clean and hot( great for NYE stay on the cold nights). The only thing was in the drive description it stated easy, gentle on your nerves. Its not necessarily a "hard" drive but it was definitely not easy on your nerves. Especially for people not from hilly or mountainous areas.

Loved the cabin! Perfect stay for our family!

Wonderful property with close proximity to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Cozy. Good layout. We would definitely stay here again!

The Mistress cabin was perfect for our family of 3’s getaway in the Smokies. This cabin is conveniently located just a short drive from anything in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, & Sevierville. We did a lot of exploring in the area during the day, so the hot tub provided much needed relaxation each night after we tucked our child in bed. We were even fortunate enough to meet Chancy as he arrived to blow the leaves off of the driveway. Bonnie had everything clean and welcoming. They were both wonderful hosts who were very attentive with prompt responses. We would definitely return! Thank you!
4.8
The place was exactly as advertised. Not sure if we'll ever get back to the Smokies, but if we do, we'll be staying here if it's available.
4.8
We enjoyed our stay at the Mistress Cabin. The cabin meet all our needs, we only used the upstairs bedroom and found the bed very comfortable and enjoyed the covered balcony outside that room. Also enjoyed the covered porch around the first floor. Appreciated that we were able to bring our fur baby along, special attention for dogs - water and food bowls, crate, etc.. We would stay there again if available when returning to the area.

Property owners were extremely warm and welcoming. The cabin was tidy, the hot tub was excellent and clean. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

It was just what we were looking for. Didn't have to go looking for bears they came over for a visit. My wife and I were happy to see them. Everything we needed was at our cabin. Five star rating. Would highly recommend.
4.8
Myself, my wife, her sister and her husband spent three great days at the cabin! It was peaceful and very comfortable. I highly recommend the cabin to all.
4.8
Perfect time of the year to stay. Weather was amazing and the views were spectacular!

While the cabin itself was nice and decorated appropriately, it is in desperate need of a deep cleaning. It was apparent that dusting hadn’t been done in months and the floors hadn’t been mopped in a while. The hot tub was yellow and had “floaties” and the filter was nasty. (The owner DID send someone to empty, refill and change filter within an hour.) Light bulbs were out, most remotes had no batteries, and the kitchen lacked some of the basics. It is quite a twisty-turning and hilly drive to the cabin….be weary if reserving during winter months.
We had some nice mild temps the latter half of our stay and wanted to open the windows to enjoy the sounds and smells of the mountains….but there are no screens in the windows.
The first level bedroom has a tub only, no shower. Not a deal breaker but a bit inconvenient.
The cabin sleeps five but there is only seating for three at the kitchen counter and no dining table, so that was a bit weird.
All in all, it’s an ok cabin but the lack of cleanliness and basics turned us off of ever returning.

Cabin was amazing and in a great location that was close to everything. Cabin was clean and neat. We would definitely rent this cabin again if we were to schedule another vacation here.

I only stay in Bonnie s Cabin when I come to Gatlinburg. It's Perfect rustic and homey. We saw a huge Black Bear our first night. My grandson did alpine coasters and go carts. We grilled out and play phase 10 cards.I so appreciate that my dog Marlie can be included. Going back Thanksgiving Weekend and build a fire. Thank You Bonnie for such an amazing place to stay .

The property was very serene and relaxing.

It was a great little cabin. Cozy and comfortable! Well worth the price.
4.8
Cabin was very nice & the owners responded quickly. It was overall clean & ok location. We were hoping for more of a view but of course the owners can't change this. It would have been nice to have a shower downstairs so more than 1 person could get ready at a time. It was nice to have some dishwasher detergent & coffee/filters to use
4.8
We really enjoyed our stay. This cabin was perfect for what we wanted for our stay in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. Relatively close to both yet quiet and away from everything. Highlight was the mama bear & cubs that showed up at our cabin. Enjoyed the wrap around porch and hot tub. Highly recommend if you like staying outside of town.

This was a great stay!! Loved the location and how secluded it felt. Check in was fast and easy. Would definitely stay again.

Cabin was cute! We had a great time.

This was our first time using Vrbo and going to the Smokey mountains. Vrbo was easy to book and the cabin that we rented was awesome. The cabin was clean.. I only saw a couple things that was missed.. nothing major and I took care of it. The owners are very quick to respond back to you when you message them. We will definitely rent from them again. We can’t wait to go home and start planning the next vacation.

My wife and i really enjoyed our stay. It was our honeymoon and I can't think of anywhere else we could have gone that we would have enjoyed more. Everything was just great. Thank you so much for the wonderful cabin in the woods. And she got to see bears for the first time and she loved it !!!!!

We loved our stay. The location was perfect and the house was very nice.

It was a very peaceful 4 day stay. First night a mama bear and 3 not so little cubs came by. 3rd night another bear stopped by. We stood on the porch and watched them roam around.
