The summit house worked amazingly well for our 2 families (each with 2 kids) to all stay together in Katoomba. Great responsiveness from the host as well (not that we needed anything!).
8.0
The property was warm and comfortable on a very wet and cold weekend. We had a water leak in the back bathroom over the toilet. Also the driveway side gardens could do with a little attention as it was quite difficult to get in and out of the car due to the overgrowth, especially as it was raining and everything was wet. Easier to park on the street when there is a couple of cars.
4.0
Pros- Comfortable bed, clean bedding & towels. Bathrooms & kitchen fittings as photos. Bedrooms as photos. Walking distance to Echo Point & Three Sisters.
Cons- Dark & chilly when entering property. Hall, living room, dining room & sunroom darker than photos show- some windows obscured, guessed it was to block out view of neighbouring property and many dustbins/rubbish(rubbish on street from neighbouring property too). Condition of some areas of the property do not indicate being newly renovated(photos available), peeling & dirty interior paintwork on doors, frames and windows. No garden furniture.

The property was in a great location. Easy walking distance to Echo Point and Katoomba main street.

We had a weekend in Katoomba for walking & the Winter Festival.
A great location, & warm & toasty with plenty of room if we’d brought the kids

The property was quiet and comfortable, great location. Does have central heating however does not seem to work well, very tight parking as drive was overgrown. Overall recommend this is a nice, quiet, clean place to stay.

Lovely, clean, spacious house. Excellent heating and facilities, except it has no dryer.
Really good communication with owner, and I would be very happy to stay here again (we used it as our base for the UTA weekend).

Lovely Easter weekend. Thankful for central heating! 2nd key very helpful. Useful combinations of beds. We lifted the blinds to bring in more light.

We recently stayed at this beautiful house. The house was perfect for our family of eight - there were four bedrooms and two bathrooms, so everyone had plenty of space. The house itself is a bit old, but the kitchen and bathrooms were recently remodeled and looked great. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook meals, and the kids loved the selection of books and games in the house.
One thing to be aware of is that the driveway is quite tight, so it was a bit challenging to maneuver our rental car (a Kia Carnival) into the space. Overall, though, we had a wonderful time at the house and would definitely stay there again.

Great Place to relax with all the creature comforts you need.
This is my first use of the Stayz application, and I found it all its advertised to be. My host Pauline was in contact all of the time making sure that our arrival & check in was all in place.
The place turned out exactly like the advert that first attracted me to book it.
Great weekend with the family.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property was well presented and well equiped. Any issue we had was rectified immediately. A great place to stay.

Take your car
Our host was gracious. The house was spotlessly clean and renovated.
The location of this house requires a car, without which it would be difficult to sightsee and get to restaurants, etc.
The roof in the rear bathroom was leaking. The shower in that bathroom leaked water onto the tiles, and the shower head kept sliding down.
The house is quite dark and we felt that the living rooms couldn’t accommodate as many as the house can sleep.

Comfortable stay, central location
We came for a weekend away and enjoyed our stay at this property. The place has great heating options, perfect for the chilly mountains temperature. Both bathrooms and kitchen appear newly renovated and very clean. We enjoyed our stay.

It is well maintained and comfortable.

Space to spread out!
This property was great. I took my 13 year old son and a couple of his friends up the Mountains by train. This house was near my friend’s place, so we could catch up while the young people played together and walkable from the station, so perfect location for us.

Good location...
Good location to access all that Katoomba has to offer, plenty of space to spread out, comfy beds , central heating.
The only negative thing was the lack of a few things in the kitchen. It would’ve been nice to have a colander to drain pasta, the saucepans especially were dirty, rusty and pretty much unusable and only one rubbish bag was provided. Also supplying cling wrap and paper towel, which I bought and left there.
Simple fixes so overall a great place for an extended family visit.

House is really clean, spacious, comfortable with well presented bedrooms. Bathrooms are amazing. Feels very bright throughout, probably because it's newly renovated and painted. Can't fault anything. Highly recommended for large groups and families!

Gorgeous house, easy walk to everything in and around katoomba, highly recommended!
We had a lovely stay at this property. The house is very spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Loved what the owners have done with the interior -very impressive modern bathrooms and the kitchen and nicely furnished. Artworks also add characters to the house. Enjoyed every minute in the house. Highly recommended!

We had a very pleasant stay at the house. The location was perfect - an easy walk to the Three Sisters, the walking trails, and to the town center. House is spacious, clean and very comfortable, with modern design bathrooms and kitchen. Highly recommended!

Great location.
Great location close to town and walks. Loved inside of house but it lacked heat in winter...freezing cold! Damp and mould on walls and condensation due to cold and lack of ventilation. If those things were addressed the house would be perfect!

Enjoyable stay. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Bathrooms and kitchen well appointed. Central location to sights and shops.
Children would have liked a floor rug to sit on in the lounge area.

Excellent accommodation in a great location for a visit to Katoomba
An unassuming California Bungalow that opens up,Tardis like, into well appointed accommodation. Clean, comfortable, (excellent modern bathrooms) nicely furnished, warm and an easy walk to everything in and around Katoomba. A tea towel would have been handy but a very minor detail in what was a pleasant stay.

A great house in a perfect location.
This house has everything you could wish for for a Blue Mountains getaway. Lovely and clean and Suzie was a pleasure to deal with.

The property is clean and comfortable for 7 of us.
It was a rather cold night, so the heater in the living room was great to keep us all warm. The electric blankets were very helpful too. Toilets and kitchen were both clean and fully equipped. Suzie was prompt to replying our questions and enquiries. Close to the main street which has cafes, restaurants, Coles/Woolworths etc.
