The property is more impressive in real life than in the photos! Warm, comfortable and fully equipped. Nothing too much for the excellent on site hosts. The spa bath was a big bonus. WiFi and phone signal sketchy, but if you’re going to the Lakes it goes with the territory. All expectations totally exceeded. We’ll be back!

Beautiful barn in a stunning location.
Beautiful barn in a stunning location. We loved looking out the huge floor to ceiling windows over onto the fells.
The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful.
Ideal location only 10 mins away from the facilities of Keswick.
The barn was clean and comfortable and the owners have thought of everything you could need. We loved that each bedroom was en-suite and had its own tv.
We had a lovely cosy break and we didn’t want it to end.
We will definitely be back.

This was our seventh stay at Bram Crag Barn, and our first in the summer season.
This was our seventh stay at Bram Crag Barn, and our first in the summer season. As ever the view, rooms, setting, facilities, garden, space, atmosphere, owners, TV, wi-fi, furniture and fittings are all wonderful. Everything about the barn is pretty much perfect, and yet the owners keep finding ways to make it even better! This time there's even better barbecue facilities. Bram Crag Barn is the only place we know of where you can have a lovely outside barbecue with superb views in pouring rain, and still not get wet. This is still the best self-catering accommodation we've ever stayed in...and yes, we've already booked for next year.

What a wonderful space for a family gathering.
What a wonderful space for a family gathering. We loved the large kitchen/dining/lounge area, which meant we could all join in with all conversations. It was a great safe space for our toddler grandson, and the stair gate was a godsend. The well equipped outdoor area was perfect for a late afternoon bbq watching the sun go down over High Rigg, and the throws and patio heater helped us extend our enjoyment of this space.
Everywhere was beautiful and clean, the kitchen well equipped. Toiletries provided in the bathrooms is always handy. Only minor point is for the comfort of the small double bed, unfortunately I feel it may need a new mattress and pillows to enjoy a quality sleep.
