The hall is a large very well equipped house that very comfortably accommodated our family of 17. The grounds are extensive and a great play area for the children. A super bonus for a rainy day is an outside games room with a football table and table tennis. The location is convenient for the coast and the north Lakes.

We had a wonderful weekend at Edderside Hall.
We had a wonderful weekend at Edderside Hall. It’s a lovely place, very comfortable, clean and it felt like a home from home. The garden was perfect for the kids and we enjoyed sitting in the sunny conservatory in the afternoons.
Although the house is very much in the middle of nowhere, which for us was very much a positive, a very short drive away, you can be on the beach. We tried the local chip shop, The Codfather, the food was lovely and the portions were huge.
We would definitely wanting to go back as soon as the Covid restrictions are lifted.

Had a lovely stay at Edderside Hall.
Had a lovely stay at Edderside Hall. It's a warm and cosy house, with plenty of space for us (a large group of friends including children)
There isn't masses to do locally, but it's an easy drive to the Lakes, and the local beach is nice for a trudge.
Comfy beds, and the best-equipped kitchen I've ever had in a holiday home!

Great stay
Our stay was really great. It was a quiet place and the neigbours were very. nice. Enough space, also to have some alone time if you wanted it. The owners were nice and easy with communication. It was very clean and the tips to do in the area were helpful.

Needs some TLC and modern TVs thought it would be helpful having more than 1 TV being a large party
Needs some TLC and modern TVs thought it would be helpful having more than 1 TV being a large party but the additional telly's were old fashioned and didn't work. The grass was over grown but the gardener's turned up at the end of the week.

Excellent house easily able to accommodate family groups. We had 10 adults and 3 children and never felt crowded. Kitchen has all the crockery and utensils we needed to cater for our group each evening.
Great holiday. Highly recommended.
