My friends and I had a great stay at this VRBO. It is an older home, but made for a cozy stay.

Property was great - very comfortably slept all of us, nice open floor kitchen/dining room/family room area and easy transportation to the mountain for skiing.

Good Practical Option
Enjoyed my stay and the owner provided good information on the property before the stay. Convenient location for getting to both Vail and Avon. Really enjoyed the fireplace.

We had a very nice stay at this property. The location is beautiful, and it was very convenient to the bus stop, the grocery store, and a neighborhood park. The living areas were very comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and good wifi. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive. The only negative was that since this is a downstairs unit, we could hear the upstairs resident(s) throughout the night. They weren't disruptive, but whenever they would walk around or run any water, we could clearly hear it through the ceiling. We should have brought a white noise machine to help the lighter sleepers in our group. Overall though, I would definitely recommend this place!

Guys ski trip
We needed a place to cook and sleep after skiing all day. The bus access was simple and we had full access to all we needed to enjoy 4 full days of skiing at Vail. Thank you!

Great home base for vail skiing
Property has a great location--short drive to the bus stop with ample free parking--and met our needs. Nothing fancy, but good space and functional kitchen for a family gathering with comfortable beds.

Cozy Mountain Lodge
The home was clean and comfortable. My favorite feature was the wood-burning fireplace and an endless supply of dry wood.
The owners were extremely responsive and helpful.
I would stay at this property again.

Fantastic experience and great customer service!
Awesome spot if you're staying for a long weekend with a group of 5 to 7 people. The property is older, but well kept and contributes to the charm. Kitchen is a little small (but decently stocked with utensils) if you plan to stay for over a week and do your own cooking.
Above all else, Bill and Katie were fantastic on the customer support side. We had trouble getting through the door code and they dropped everything to help create a solution. Very pleasant to work with and very helpful. The property maintenance tech, Nathan, was also very friendly and offered help and support at any time.
Sincerely,
Conor

First time staying on that side of the interstate
We have been coming to Vail for years but had never stayed on this side of the interstate. At first I wasn't too sure if I was going to like it but we had a great visit. Nice place to walk and there is a hiking trail close by the home. The home is dated but clean. Clean means a lot to me. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. A couple additions that might help with convenience would be to add surge protectors/additional outlets by each side of the beds plus next to the kitchen table and couch. If you plug in your phone and computer then you had to unplug the lamp. A couple of us were working while we were visiting and needed the additional charging stations. The washer and dryer worked great but to turn on the water was a little unusual so instructions would be helpful. Perhaps a little mowing or yard clean up would go a long way in the presentation of the home. We would stay at this property again.

Cute, quaint place with great view
Can’t beat the price and space given at this property! It’s 5 min from everything and could sleep 10 easily. We were only four and had plenty of room to spread out and enjoyed a nice fire and view!

Great location. Great space. Highly recommend.
I booked this site through Orbitz. Or a bit somehow links up with VRBO. Neither Orbitz nor VRBO sent to me information on how to get into the apartment. It took me about 10 or 15 minutes to get in touch with the owner directly who was fantastic, but Orbitz and VRBO failed

West Vail Xmas
The condo was clean and convenient to Vail and Beaver Creek and only a 40 minute drive to Keystone and Breckenridge. The owner was proactive in reaching out to see if we needed anything or had any issues. The checkin process was also very easy as well. Overall, it was a very positive experience and comfortable vacation. We would recommend the condo to family or friends if they planned a visit to the area.

The living room was perfect for hanging out after a long day skiing. The kitchen had everything we needed. The layout was nice and the location near an Express bus line was really nice. Bill was very responsive to our questions. We would definitely go back.

Comfortable family lodging
Enjoyed our stay with our family for our annual Spring Break ski trip. Very comfortable accommodations for 5 adults (our children our now young adults!). Thank you for sharing your home with us!

great location, good size property, comfortable for large families/groups. Owner/Host was great.
Not much more to say past the title, other than the property could use some updating in terms of decor, appliances, etc. But it was clean, perfect location (roughly halfway between Vail and Beaver Creek, quite convenient to both), close to restaurants, shopping, and in a beautiful neighborhood. It was perfect for skiing, and I expect it would be beautiful for hiking, etc. in the summer.

This condo is homey and very roomy! Our family of 5 adults had plenty of room! Loved the fireplace
A very homey and roomy condo; our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay in West Vail. Convenient location, just off I-70. Just bring your warm winter clothes and food, and you are all set to go. So much to do nearby: skiing, tubing, snowshoeing, hiking, snowmobiling, shopping, restaurants galore.

We (my husband, my brother, and his two kids - ages 10 and 13) stayed in Bills place for a weeklong ski vacation. It has plenty of room. We cooked in almost every night and packed lunches for the day. I hurt my knee our first day of skiing and ended up staying home all but the last day and can honestly say that its a nice place to hang out in. The location is convenient as other reviewers described - access to Vail bus stop with easy parking and to grocery stores. My only complaint is that the kitchen is dark and needs more light over the work areas. (Also, the bunk bed listed and shown in the hallway alcove is no longer there. We didnt need it, but if someone was counting on that extra sleeping space, they would be disappointed.) Bill was easy to communicate with, answering all my questions and providing advice about transportation. We would definitely stay here again!

Bill was great to interact with! The duplex was a great size and everything was true to the description! I will definitely be saving Bill's contact information for any future stays!

We stayed at this very comfortable house with a group of 4 - myself, my husband and two adult children. Everything we could possibly need was provided and the house owner, Bill, was never more than a phone call away and couldnt have been more helpful. Note: if you use the fireplace, dont forget to open the damper first! The location is to the West of Vail, very close to two large supermarkets (Safeway and City Market) and several restaurants (Westside Cafe is very well known) and fast food outlets. We drove from Denver during a huge winter storm and did have a bit of a challenge getting our two wheel drive Dodge Caravan up the very icy roads, we did eventually discover the least steep option and made it to the house in one piece! We skied/snowboarded every day, and took Bills advice to drive down the hill (2 minutes), where there is free parking very close to the shuttle bus stop. This avoided the climb up the hill to the house in the evening - doable, but not fun as the only options were to trek through deep snow, or up steep icy roads. The shuttle buses were very regular, and the drivers very helpful, the trip to the slopes taking around 20 minutes (with lots of stops to let people off and on). We drove to Beaver Creek one day, and were surprised at how close it was. The skiing was quite different to Vail, not as challenging, and not as dauntingly huge! Once we got used to Vail we loved it, especially Blue Sky Basin where I (a 50 year old, Advanced/Intermediate skiier) had some of the best skiing of my life. The more adventurous members of our group were in skiers heaven!

Ski Condo
We stayed at this condo between Christmas and New Years 2013 for a ski vacation. The condo was great! Only a couple of minutes away from Vail and right down the street from a grocery store. The living room was large, and the furniture was nice. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots/pans. There were 5 adults with us and it was more space than we needed!

Fantastic Family Condo
Fantastic home away from home. I booked this condo for the second time for a July 2013 family vacation. Clean, comfortable great family condo. My youngest loves the bunk bed alcove and the rest of us get to choose between the three other bedrooms. Beautiful view of mountains from the deck. Very close to bus stop. I have enjoyed both a ski vacation and a hiking, rafting summer get away while staying in this VRBO - both I hope to repeat.
