About this house rental
Corazon de Luz is a uniquely beautiful vacation home. Nestled at the edge of the jungle, and facing out towards the ocean and town, you may find you never want to leave the house. Located on the lush, southern side of Sayulita, we are just a 10-minute walk (or 5 minute taxi ride) from town, beaches and jungle trails. The grounds are spectacular, overflowing with tropical flowers, lush palms and brilliantly colored birds. Corazon de Luz is perfect for a small group or family, with 4.5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths.
This hand-made home was designed and built as a labor of love. The architecture is a contemporary twist on the traditional coastal palapa-style. The space is tranquil, organic and harmonious with nature. Walk through the entrance towards a spectacular ocean view and sparkling blue water of our large infinity pool. The spacious, serene living room, dining area and airy, fully equipped working kitchen are crowned by a three-story palapa. It is the communal space. The romantically appointed master bedroom is at the top of a sweeping staircase, with it’s own separate wing, sitting area, king-sized bed with luxurious linens and a Zen-like bathroom with an open-air private shower. The other side of the house has another master suite, with it’s own living room, king-sized bed and two decks. Upstairs is a sleeping loft with a full and twin bed, perfect for older children who will feel like they are in a tree house, but safe and sound under a palapa roof. (Please note that this room has fans, but does not have air conditioning).
Crossing the bridge and heading downstairs is the lovely and romantic “jungle room”. The queen size bed faces the jungle and ocean view and has an outdoor seating area and very spacious bathroom and closet. Private, peaceful and quiet.
The fourth bedroom has a queen-sized bed, small couch, with a view of the lower garden courtyard. The separate bathroom has a jungle view, organic and contemporary accents and a palm tree growing through the floor.
The whole house enjoys the benefit of a water purification system. The heated, salt water pool is perfect for swimming laps or simply lounging. Every bedroom has air-conditioning, overhead fans, spacious closets and your own safe.
Our caretakers, Ines and Pancho will provide housekeeping six days a week. They live on site in their own casita and are there to provide warmth, security and if you speak a little Spanish, lively conversation. Our fantastic house managers, Gabbi and Nick will be your liaisons, providing personal service. They will be available to make your trip as comfortable as possible, connecting with you before you arrive. The house has wi-fi, and safes in each bedroom, but no television. We prefer to plug into nature, read a book and enjoy the sweetness and charm of our little village.

My family was in Sayulita July1-8 2023. We are a family of 8 that live in Denver, CO; Portland, OR and Sparta, NJ. We get together yearly for a family vacation. This year we wanted to celebrate in a big way and chose this home in Sayulita because we wanted to experience the Mexican culture. We loved Casa Corazon de Luz! The settling is breathtaking. It is nestled in the jungle with a view of the ocean. We spent many hours in the infinity pool overlooking the ocean. The management team for the home is excellent. They were very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. All our needs and requests were meet in a timely manner. The town of Sayulita and surrounding area was fun to explore. It is a safe and friendly town. We felt we got a true taste of the Mexican culture. My grandchildren are in a Spanish immersion education program and enjoyed speaking Spanish to the locals. Suggestion: You will need to rent golf carts to get around the area as the house is located high on the hill. I highly recommend this home for a fun and educational family experience.

The property is well designed to accommodate a large family with a beautiful open living room with a gorgeous view. The sleeping quarters are set in such a way that every one has a private place to retire. The kitchen is very nice although we recommend hiring a personal chef, who will cooks delicious meals. Corazon del Luz stole our heart.

This is a charming rental, exquisitely curated for an authentic Mexican boho vibe. The living is indoor-outdoor, making for lots of exposure to the elements. It was entirely comfortable for our party of 8 adults and 1 baby. The management company made a good vacation a fabulous one -- so attentive to our needs and providers of amazing help, most especially, the wonderful cook Rosita. Rosita provided us with breakfast and dinner every day and made the vacation delicious and easy for a large party. The location was amazing -- with 2 golf carts people could easily come and go to town, the beaches, to bars -- whatever suited them. It was an all but perfect formula for a mixed generation vacation. The ONLY problem was the noise coming from a few late night parties (on the beach? in neighbouring houses?) -- noise loud enough to make sleep impossible -- until 3 am on one occasion. I'm not sure if this is a factor of timing (we were there early January) or if it's a common problem. If we could be assured of good sleep every night we would return in a flash!

Awesome experience
Casa Corazon is a lovely house, everything you want and need on vacation. Communication was very easy with all the staff and the house was exactly as listed. Sayulita is a super cool surf town. Very clean and we all felt very safe. We will be back for sure! Thanks for a great trip.

Perfection in sayulita
What a perfect way to experience Sayulita! We had never been there before and had no idea what to expect, and this property was the perfect place for our large group! The house itself is unbelievable...a beautiful and artistic maze of rooms that incorporate the jungle into the home. The infinity pool overlooking the beach and town is the heart of the house, and is breathtaking. Every room has some magical and unique touches. It is just removed enough from the town, but a quick 3-5 minute golf cart ride in to the center of town. The golf cart is a must! It would be a hot and dusty walk without it. We will definitely be returning to sayulita sometime and will definitely return to this magical home!

Hillside Oasis
We had a dreamy week in your beautiful home. It was our first time to Sayulita. We watched many beautiful sunrises. It was a treat to be close enough to stroll into town to explore the sights and sounds and be able to retreat to your hillside oasis at the end of the day. I recommend staying here!

Simply perfect!
We had an incredible stay at Casa Corazon de Luz the week leading up to Easter this year. We had two families of 4, with a total of 4 kids, and the house was perfect for our group in every way. We could not have asked for a better situation! The views and grounds are gorgeous; the pool is totally inviting and a great size; the common areas were comfortable and mostly open air; the rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated; the bathrooms were plentiful and spacious; and the staff supporting the house was friendly, hard-working and very helpful. We really enjoyed Fabiola's homemade meals and arranged for her to cook us 4 breakfasts and 3 dinners throughout our week, all of which were fantastic. Her tortillas were to die-for, as were her chile rellenos stuffed with meat and cheese, and her enchiladas with mole. We were tempted to have her cook even more meals for us, but we also had a great time exploring Sayulita's many restaurants, taco shops, beach-front cafes, etc. We could not have had a better time! If we come around Easter week again, however, we will bring our ear plugs and sound machines, because the music pouring out of dance clubs and on the main beach in town wafted straight up the hill and jungle to the house. Obviously this is not Casa Corazon's fault...but things get a little crazy around Easter week and the music literally did not stop all night the entire week. We dealt with it and it didn't stop us from savoring every minute at the house and in Sayulita. Final note - we would HIGHLY recommend renting golf carts as they were invaluable during our stay. While the house is not too far from the heart of town and the beaches, it's up some steep hills on a rugged dirt road. We loved the tucked away location away from it all, but we also got heavy use of the 2 golf carts we rented and used them constantly for our daily trips to town, to several beaches, etc. The management company that supports Corazon de Luz helped arrange our rentals for a better price than all of the golf cart rental companies were quoting. Thanks Phoebe and Fabiola for an unforgettable week - we hope to be back!

Nirvana of n Sayulita
This is the second time we have stayed at Corazon de Luz. Honestly, the online pictures , as nice as they are, do not do this property justice. From the moment you open the antique doors, you realize you are in a special place. The house is a labor of love that those of us who stay here are lucky enough to experience the love.
Last but not least, the staff is amazing. Fabiola is great and is willing to cook a few authentic meals if you choose. We will be back for a third time.

Paradise!
When your breath is taken away upon walking in the front door, you know you are in paradise!! Celebrating my 60th birthday with family and friends at Corazon de Luz was an incredible treat. The home is absolutely gorgeous, the bedroom suites and bedrooms are spacious and very well-appointed, the beds are SUPER comfy, and the views could not be beat.....absolutely breath taking! Having a location tucked into the jungle presented us with a myriad of birds each day as well. It was such a pleasure knowing we had Corazon de Luz to head back to after a busy day in town to relax in the beautiful infinity pool.....the short, easy walk to/from town was very much appreciated.
Fabiola and Canuto were such a delight, albeit the language barrier. They did an excellent job attending to housekeeping each day and sincerely took interest in the comfort of our stay. Knowing the concierge company, Sayulita at your Service, was available to answer questions/requests at any time, was a big comfort (especially since we did have a few repair requests). And, the owner, Phoebe, was very professional and very easy to work with. It was truly a memorable birthday celebration!

Exquisite!
Our family of nine (five adults, three older children and one disabled person) stayed at the incredible Corazon de Luz, and it was magnificent! Absolutely the best family vacation we've ever had in the most beautiful home ever! The furnishings were above and beyond, and everything was kept ultra clean. The heated infinity pool, our rooms, and the entire house were cleaned daily. Everything we needed was provided, and the service we received from the caretakers, Fabiola and Canuto, was superior! They even cooked us two delicious, traditional Mexican dinners! We all enjoyed ourselves 100% and would love to go again. We highly recommend this special Sayulita villa!

Beautiful large place...
I've stayed at many places in Sayulita, and this is one of the best especially for a "medium-sized" group (say, 3 couples or so). Perfect views of the beach and town, and easy access down the hill either via the Villa Amor property or down a little back path we found (ends at the entrance to the cemetery). The best part was Fabiola and Canuto the caretakers -- so sweet, unobtrusive, accommodating and thorough.

Could not find a nicer house in Sayulita!!
This was my 3rd time in Sayulita and I didn't think we could possibly beat our last house. Well, the bar has been raised. From the moment you enter Casa Corazon De Luz, you understand this house is a labor of love in every little detail, which are plentiful. From the breathtaking view of the town, to the infinity pool to the amazing handcrafted furniture you know you are in special place. To top off the amazing house is a wonderful house staff that knows exactly what to do. I will definitely rent Casa Corazon De Luz again.

Gorgeous Getaway
Corazon de Luz is a very special place. Just the right distance out of town to feel like you've fully escaped. Excellent view, great birding, and a wonderfully appointed home. Easy access to the quieter beaches of Sayulita, as well as the Yoga Palapa. The caretakers are very attentive and friendly; treat yourself to their home cooking! we will most certainly return!

Corazon de Luz is a beautiful home, everything is just perfect. The owners have wonderful taste in furnishings. The bathrooms are spectacular, the linens 5 star quality, and the managers are on top of everything, from picking us up at airport to any minor question we had. Gorgeous
Corazon de luz is absolutely perfect. location is close to town, (the shortcut through villa amor makes it even quicker) and yet far enough away that you feel really private. Gabbi helps sort out anything you need. He helped organize a custom birthday cake and golf cart rental for us and it was all simple and effortless. The house is spectacular from the second you walk in the entrance and see the huge, open palapa lounge, infinity pool and view of the beach past the palm trees. The house and grounds are meticulously maintained and such a lovely blend of palapa, stone walls, white-washed walls and tropical plants. We highly recommend getting Fabiola to cook for you at least one night.. Her chicken mole was super delicious. We really didn't want the vacation to end. We'll be back next year..
