Cozy and welcoming

Lovely hosts, lovely room and lovely breakfast. Spacious room/suite with an extra large double bed. The bathroom was huge too with a stand-alone bath and always abundant hot water. Breakfast was served at whatever time we wanted and consisted of a full English, cereal, fresh fruit and toast. Thank you, Wendy and Lee.

Lovely relaxing place to stay.

Old style farmhouse right up our alley. Beautiful room with king size bed, beautiful bathroom with roll top bath. The gardens are well laid out. The owners Lee and Wendy are really nice people. And finally the full English breakfast is gorgeous.

The only thing we can think of it would benefit from shower in the beautiful bathroom. Plus save money on water.

Gorse farm, a traditional B&B

Great welcoming hosts, nothing was too much for them, wake up calls included. Fantastic cooked breakfast, cooked to order and perfection. Excellent value for money.

A perfect place to stay

Our hosts were really friendly and made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and they helped to make my husband's birthday a special one. Room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was superb and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Towels could have been softer!!

Wendy and Lee are a delightful couple and run a superb operation. The rooms were excellent, comfy and spacious with beautiful countryside views and especially the bed linen was 5***** The breakfast was fantastic - plenty of choice all cooked to perfection.

Wendy was lovely but very isolated area and two 37 year olds on a working trip racing didn't suit us. perfect for older couple on a weekend away

we got food out and had to eat in the conservatory

A rural gem

The owners were very welcoming and helpful and the property was in a lovely location. Also the bed was very comfortable.

As an older guest I found the bath in the centre of the bathroom with shower attachment difficult to use.

Exceptional

Lovely secluded location deep in the Dorset countryside. Wendy and Lee are a remarkable couple in a property full of character and atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent and our room amongst the most attractive and comfortable that we have stayed in. There is also a two-acre garden showing the highly individual stamp of its owners.

A very relaxing and memorable stay.

Delightful location Very attentive and charming hosts Everywhere was spotlessly clean and there was a very convenient guest lounge with TV so we could relax there without intruding on the hosts. Excellent breakfast.

We found it difficult to find. Bookings .com did not offer a complete Post Code of the B&B or instructions on how to find the property. This is not a criticism of the B&B .

Plenty of countryside for walking and not far from some of the best beaches in the Dorset area.

Lee and Wendy were very friendly and informative hosts making us feel very welcome. Breakfast was of a high standard and there was plenty of choice. Would definitely return for a second visit.

Great getaway!

Wendy and Lee very helpful welcoming and thoughtful, a lovely home from home with great artistic decor and style. Brilliant breakfast individually catered for, quiet location but with easy (vehicular) access to Sturminster Newton

England football teams lackluster performance but not even these great hosts could influence that....

Perfect idyll in beautiful Dorset

Everything, a peaceful and tranquil place in rural Dorset was the perfect place to destress after the scary pandemic times we have been through, the perfect antidote. Thanks to Wendy and Lee.

Driveway out, definitely needs upgrading, but understand this is on the agenda, fairly soon

Exceptional

Great location, rural but within distance of the Town and other amenities, so peaceful with no light pollution, lovely hosts who were on our wave length! Super breakfast, with nothing too much trouble.
