Great location and really helpful host, providing useful information in the area. Well appointed and large apartment, in the heart of Ortigia

The big bed upstairs was so nice and the ancient atmosphere in the kitches is really amazing.
nothing!

very well located spacious apartment
very friendly host
lots of humidity in the kitchen, something to be aware of; our clothes had a lot of difficulties to dry.
no door for the shower which means that there is water everywhere after a shower

the location, styling and Linda the host was the best! so helpful with everything and answered straight away. also that there were no stairs.
I knew when I booked, but I would have preferred if the shower had some sort of screen. the bed was very soft for my preference. also there is a lot of humidity in the apartment but there is a big extractor fan to offset this.

good location
the room was a bit damp and without any windows but it was clean

The place it's on excellent location and it's very interesting organized. It's on three levels. It's really nice equipped, modern and cozy. It's on the main street in Ortigia surrounded by really nice restaurants and bars.
The only thing that I didn't like was the humidity inside. Probably because we were in April and the weather wasn't that hot but the towels were wet. Also they have problem with the siphon in the bathroom.

The property has its character and it’s very spacious. It’s also located close to the sea, in the centre of Ortigia. The property is equipped with everything what’s needed. It has a little terrace, but shared with an adjoining apartment.
The host is friendly and communication with her was also easy.
I’d love to leave a positive comment, but we experienced a few issues that didn’t make our stay pleasant and relaxing, but a bit problematic and stressful.
The property is quite dark and the kitchen is humid. It’s a shame, because we all visit Italy to enjoy its sun and natural light.
It was a bit unbearable to stay in the living room (so we didn’t use it even once) or in the kitchen, because the apartment is quite cold (in April). Also taking a shower was a bit challenging because of the cold. We had to stay in the bedroom with A/C on when having a rest or a coffee during the day.
After 30 minutes after checking in the fuse blew out and kept blowing out systematically during our 2-night stay several times. I informed the host, someone fixed it, but on our last day we had no electricity for an hour before leaving the property. We were lucky we had managed to have a breakfast before checking out.
We had no warm water one out of two mornings, so we had to take cold showers. Then there was no water at all, we caught some in pots to wash the dishes. I contacted the host, she reassured us that someone would come to fix it.
The bathroom (a wet room type) isn’t too convenient. Everything gets wet and dump, and one has to paddle in cold water splashed on the floor. A bit uncomfortable especially thats it’s quite cold.

Very cute appartement, very well furnished (very tastefully done!), very nice and reactive staff, perfect location.
Overall the appartement is as nice as on the pictures.
The place is very humide so be aware of it if you’re sensitive.

We chose for three reasons - space modernity and we could type and time of breakfast and it met our expectations
Unfortunately the internet distorts the reality of the apartment
Firstly the apartment is entered from partly opened poorly lit courtyard which is rather unkempt - not good first impressions
The large kitchen area is below ground and the apartment is quite damp. The mezzanine bedroom is partly above ground and the only window which is blocked out as it is directly onto the back street which is very noisy early morning and late evening
The bathroom is a disaster with the basin seriously not much bigger than a salad bowl with the tap extending well into it.The shower is squeezed between the toilet and washbasin with no curtain so even with care there is water all over the place which thankfully a scraper is provided. To make matters worse rather than having one large mirror there are three tiny mirrors not very practical. The toilet seat is plastic and not very stable
As far as the patio is concerned it again gets very little light as it is four walled on ground level and there narrow skyline is four stories up.It is also shared by adjoining apartment
The sofa bed is very uncomfortable as a sofa as the base cushion as no substance to it and very uncomfortable
The television only does neflex so there is no opportunity to watch any international news and then there was no connection
The pillows in the bedroom had obviously;y been put through the machine as the fill was full of lumps and again no body

Great location, nice design in the apartment. Comfortable mattress and nice host with good tips about the surroundings.
We were offered help online with the parking but did not receive any (probably a miscommunication between the hosts) and ended up wandering around the talete parking (full of trash and homeless people) for about half an hour due to a lack of information. If I had known that there's no help with the parking, I would have chosen a different apartment. The apartment also smelled very much like a cellar and I could imagine if someone has asthma or similar this would be more than a little bit disturbing. Also since the shower has no doors or any obstacles around it, expect to make the whole bathroom wet after using it.

Great welcome by Marcello.👍
No doubt one of the best B&B in Syracuse in the perfect location.
I would recommend them over and over again. Amazing, hospitable and friendly staff and a perfect getaway location.
We will be back soon .
