About this house rental

Pemberton is an historic Federation style house situated right in the centre of Beechworth with a scenic view of the Old Beechworth Gaol. It is a cosy place which is perfect for that special weekend away with your loved one, an enjoyable and relaxing getaway with the girls or simply spending time exploring Historic Beechworth with your family.

Pemberton is a self contained three bedroom house that can accommodate up to eight people. Bedding is provided. Two bedrooms each have a Queen size bed; while the other room has two bunk beds. The kitchen/ lounge room area is an open plan area; with the kitchen table easily seating up to eight people. The lounge room contains a spacious leather couch and a TV. Our bathroom has a shower and a spa bath; the spa bath can cosily fit two people. A verandah follows alongside the back of the house.

It was great location, a bit hard to communicate with owner once there as the internet and phone signal in beechworth are hit and miss. We plan on going back again tho

This beautiful quaint little cottage has all the amenities and such charm. It is walking distance to the main shopping centre and close to churches (Christmas). We were searching for a quiet and serene spot to spend our Christmas and we were not disappointed. Thank you

A practical stopover in a well equipped cottage, convenient to the town and attractions. If it allowed use of the fireplace, we would definitely return. Beechworth is a great winter destination, and a cosy fire in a charming cottage would just top the experience off.

Despite getting on in years, Pemberton is a lovely place to stay. The location is brilliant, being within easy walking distance of everything Beechworth has to offer. The kitchen and bathroom have been updated and are very good. It got cold overnight but we were warm in bed thanks to individual heaters and electric blankets. There is a lovely wrap around outdoor deck and good off street parking.

Nice and quiet cottage in walking distance of practically everything thing you could need in Beechworth. House was neat and tidy and property managers were very friendly and accommodating via email. Would recommend this place to everyone.

This is a lovely, charming cottage. We had a 9 year old and adults. Walking distance to shops, wish we could have stayed longer (but school holidays are only so long). The house was clean and well made up, we felt 'at home' here. Would recommend it to anyone.

If you want to stay in Beechworth and be able to walk to most things in town this is a great house to stay at ,coffee ice cream pubs bakery billsons brewery lake and most of the old town sights 5 minute walk maximum. House had most things you need and nice owners that would help with any questions

Great little cottage with everything you need for a girls weekend away. The location is amazing - a short walk to everything you want in Beechworth. Beds were comfy and the shower was hot! Would be great to have some kind of hearing in the bedroom for the cold frosty mornings. Clean and nicely furnished too Tip - if the weather is nice, sit on the back deck for a cheeky wine and enjoy the variety of birds visiting the garden

A great place to stay with young children. Has an open plan refurbished kitchen adjacent to the living area with air conditioning. Rooms are a good size and the bathroom is clean. The garden could do with a bit of pruning but it didn't bother us - a great weekend getaway.

Perfect for families and very reasonably priced

3 adults and 1 two year old. We loved our stay, it was perfect for us. I found it difficult to find suitable accommodation in Beechworth that allowed 1 night stays. The owners of Pemberton were very accommodating and even allowed early check in so that we had time to get ready for a wedding we were attending. My 2 year old loved all the teddies and enjoyed running around the home finding the chocolates at the end of the beds and exploring the gardens out side. It is a great home for families with young children as there is little that you have to worry about that they may get into or break. Plastic plates and cups also made meal times stress free. Beds were quite comfy and shower was great. Fans in the bedrooms work very well. Salt and Pepper and scissors are the only things we wish we had but didn’t. A hook on the fence to latch the front gate to so it stays open while reversing would be helpful :) Location was fantastic! Nice short walk to the Main Street. Pemberton was much better then I expected for the price. We would definitely stay again! :)

Pemberton is a lovely house which has been beautifully decorated, is well appointed in all areas and was spotlessly clean. The hosts, Damien & Kelli, were wonderful to deal with and easy to communicate with. The house is located across the road from the back of the Old Gaol and the rest of the historic part of Beechworth is just steps away. We loved the character of the house and the little touches around were gorgeous. We would recommend Pemberton to anyone visiting this amazing town. Thank you so much, Kelli & Damien!

Pemberton is close to town - a 2 or 3 minute walk, close to lake Sambell and most things in Beechworth. The house is clean and well appointed. The back deck with the lovely sound of the creek in the back ground is very realxing. This is an old miners cottage so don't expect a home built last year. Plenty of character. Kelli was easy to deal with.

Lovely cottage accommodation, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Well appointed and beautifully set up by the owners. Lovely verandahs and space to relax in the garden out the back.
