The house is great. It is located up the hill looking out west where you see amazing sunsets every evening. It is clean and well-stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed. Check the pantry before you go shopping to make sure you get what you need. (We always do, but I see reviews...)
We only used the TV in the living room, as who wants to do much of that with the outdoors, like right there, you know, outdoors.
The beds were all very comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and well put together. We loved the skylights, even if we did keep trying to turn out the "light".
The master bath has a huge soaking jetted tub that works great, and it has plenty of hot water to e.
Plenty of towels for a family of 5, even using the pool almost every day.
A/C & washer/dryer worked perfectly.
Check-in was a breeze, with no issues at The host was easy to understand in messages and responded to the one thing we asked super fast. Great host!
Ok, quirks. Door stops would be great, so we could keep the windows open more with the (beautiful) solid wood doors from shutting in the breeze. (internal doors).
About 90% of Nest thermostats have a problem in that they are hard to turn. Patience (and a drink) will solve that.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat. It's a great property and a great host. The guest book and guidebook were a nice touch.

Clean, functional and just A++

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. The views are amazing, as well as the location. The property itself is high quality and the primary bedroom bed is uber comfortable. Close to skiing and the square.
4.5
Great experience and wonderful property. Close enough to everything but a little space away from town.
4.5
We loved everything about the property, and the only negative was that there wasn't a decent yard for our dog that apparently thinks she is too good to potty on dirt and rocks.

I’m no stickler for safety etc but there really should be a fence along the sidewalk next to the drainage ditch. In the dark it would be very easy to fall in the ditch. I was happy I had a flashlight.

The property was much better than we were expecting! Clean, spacious, beautifully furnished. 3 couples could stay here comfortably. Access to a cozy pool with a great view. I would definitively come back and recommend to friends,

I could not believe how beautiful this property was! The fact that I did not want to leave is always a indication to me that I have stayed in a perfect environment. it was incredibly spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed and decorated. The beds were cozy, grand, and I did not want to get out in the mornings! The view was simply spectacular… Sunset with a glass of wine was nirvana. My husband and I loved it so much, we are actually thinking of buying in the neighborhood. We will definitely stay there every time we return to Santa Fe!

Overall a wonderful home! We loved the location, decor, and found the communication and check in process easy.
The only reason I am rating this four stars instead of five is because of the mattress sizing in two of the bedrooms being fulls. It is noted in the listing that the home offers fulls in two of the bedrooms which is very limiting for adult couples traveling together.
Wonderful views and the home is built with high end finishes and details. Great floor plan as well. We would suggest having seating for four adults on the patio to enjoy the views.

The location was amazing - beautiful area and views as well as being close to downtown. House was gorgeous and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable. Would have loved to make a fire in the especially cold temps, but I understand the owner being hesitant with renters. Would have liked to see more in the kitchen - sparse on items provided. Other suggestions would be a simple bluetooth speaker (so you could listen to your own music apps), a dvd player in the LR so you could use the movies provided, better yet having the TV hooked up to the internet so you could use your own apps to watch movies. Lastly, you might want to remove the reference to the "welcome basket" in the binder if you are not going to provide one. Overall, I would definitely recommend this rental. But with just a few additions, you could put this one over the top to being spectacular!

Not well stocked. Was freezing cold on arrival and took a couple of hours to warm up to normal temp. Dark walkway up to entrance with safety lights along the path burned out. Host was not very friendly or hospitable on the phone. More like 10-15 min north of the plaza not 5. Quiet, safe area. Otherwise nice house with decent sized rooms and each bedroom with its own full bath.

This property is in the best location. Beautiful views and close to town. The home is beautiful but lacked many things in the kitchen. We didn't have any trash bags, only enough cutlery for one meal and only 4 bowls. Having to load and unload dishes for every meal was not something we wanted to think about on vacation. Kitchen was overall very poorly appointed. Was also disappointed to not be able to have a fire in the main fireplace. The owners should take inventory and update kitchen.

We loved the house and loved Santa Fe. Beautiful area and a great neighborhood.

This is our second time at this property. Pro’s - the location, the potential views, the size of the unit / very nice master bath. Con’s - no outdoor furniture even though there are 3 separate patios (actually there are two plastic chairs we bought in 2019 from WalMart), no chair or bench in the master, no nightstands at the other large bedroom, coffee maker didn’t work, called the management company and never received a call back even though they tout the local team, sparse equipment in the kitchen. At this price point in this location it is disappointing - we won’t be staying here again.

This was an excellent place to stay for our family of four. The layout of the home gave everyone ample space, the decor was inviting, and it was very clean. This has a nice location too- a little “out” from downtown but just minutes away. We had a question upon check-in and it was answered immediately. Highly recommend and hope to stay here again in the future!

The check-in process was not good. We were instructed to contact the manager “at least 48 hours” before arriving which I did, but didn’t hear back (for 2 days) which necessitated a phone call on the day of arrival. I was then told that they were in the process of changing the codes and would email me. The email didn’t arrive which required another call where I was told it had been sent. (We were in N.M. where connection isn’t always available and - would I have been calling a second time it I’d received it?). The home is lovely and high end but lacked the touches I would have expected, including body soap (!) and the greeting basket mentioned in the property book. Additionally the linens and the laundry soap provided were very highly scented. If I was the owner of this property I would be disappointed in the manager. Sorry…..

The views are beautiful. The views can be seen from the living/dining room. The neighborhood is quiet and has a beautiful pool area. Nice respite after busy shopping/sightseeing/hiking days. It was nice to have our own bedrooms/bathrooms. You may want a additional hairdryer (1), pool towel(s) & buy paper products on your way to the VRBO. We enjoyed our stay & would highly recommend this VRBO.

Beyond Expectations!
Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. The home was just as seen in the photos - so clean, comfortable and stylish. The views from the Adobe are breathtaking, but the views from the Clubhouse pool are even more spectacular! Very comfortable beds as well after a long day of exploring Santa Fe and the mesas. Will definitely be staying here again when back in NM!

After being holed up for 15 months in Wisconsin, this was the perfect getaway. The pictures don't do it justice. We absolutely loved the villa and surrounding area. We aren't sure about some of the negative comments - we thought it was fantastic. Only complaint is that it could be a little bit better stocked. There were no steak knives, no real wine glasses, and we had to buy an extension cord to use the hair dryer because of how it plugs in.

Loved the property, location, etc. Would recommend anyone looking stay in SF to go skiing. Was bummed to find out the fireplaces in bedrooms are non-functional yet listed in the details. Overall, would definitely stay again.

Home away from Home.
My wife and I and our two small dogs stayed at this wonderful home at Bishops Lodge. The views from the Living Room and the back patio of the Jemez and Sange De Cristo mountains are beautiful. The neighborhood is beautiful and there are hiking trails right off Lodge Circle that can take you to the Big Tesuque trail.
The home has three bedrooms each with an attached bathroom which is very nice for large families and groups. The fireplace in the main room is a wood-burning fireplace and even though it was quite warm in the daytime it was cold enough at night to burn some pinion wood and the wonderful smells of Santa Fe.
We had a great stay and cannot wait to return to the City Different.

6 day siege
We rented this house for 3 weeks in July 2020 and decided to keep the reservation even though there were quarantine orders for out of state visitors. The first six days of our time in the house, we had no air conditioning (in 90 degree temps) or no hot water or both. We alerted the property manager right away, and he was engaged, but it still took us 6 days to have a functioning house. The house was clean, but as other reviewers have mentioned, there seems to be little attention to detail. When we arrived, the front gate (first impression) was off the hinges and could not be closed. The kitchen was equipped, but minimally so. If you plan to cook, bring your own knives, utensils and maybe a pot or two. Light bulbs were out and several electrical sockets weren't functional. We left early and texted the property manager after we left - 3 days later, we haven't heard from him, so I feel it's not inappropriate to let others know the difficulty we had with this property and the manager.

Great
Everything was great but bummed the pool wasn't open. I am sure that has to do with the virus but we weren't told a head of time it would be closed which should have happened and the virus can't live in the water so it should have been opened. Let people social distance themselves and make their own decisions. Thanks
