We had a wonderful time in Brian Head. Location was great and the space was great. I would have given a 5 star but there were just a few things that made us give it a 4 star. I think they are mentioned in other reviews. The garage was an issue. My husband realized there was a lock on the inside that needed to be unlatched. That should be mentioned. There were a couple broken chairs. I thought the main bedroom bed upstairs was broken only to find out on the 3rd night the slates had moved. Maybe check that between guests or fix it. Other then those things everything was great. We will definitely be back!!

Worst vacation rental we have ever stayed in. Location is perfect. Too bad the owners don’t care about the unit.
1.0 / 5.0
Beware!
Aside from the location, this condo is a miss in so many ways.
1. There are no window coverings at all. Not only is this a problem for lack of privacy, it is also a problem for sleeping. With the condo located across the street from Giant Steps, the large flood lights on the slopes illuminated the condo all night & the morning sun blasted into the windows for an early wake up call. Since the primary bedroom is a loft, there is literally no way to block the brightness of the flood lights across the street & the sun w/out window coverings. In the downstairs room we stacked pillows in the window to create a make shift curtain but light was still a problem.
2. The furniture is bad! The 2 main beds are thin mattresses on platform frames, no headboards. The other 2 “beds” are old futons, again w/very thin mattresses.
The bedding is horrible. It is old, tired, and looked dirty.
At least half of the dining room chair backs are broken. You could sit in the chair but absolutely could not sit back without falling over.
The bar stools are too high for the bar top therefore there is no way to sit on the bar stools & put your legs under the bar top. No eating at the bar.
The white sofas in the main room need to be cleaned. We put sheets over them so we didn’t have to sit directly on them.
Every coffee/end table, dresser was scratched, dented, and cheap.
There are no chairs on either of the balconies.
Please look closely at the listing pictures. The furnishing look 100 times better in the pictures than they actually are.
3. This condo needs major maintenance!
There are 2 areas of water damage on the ceilings, evidenced by water stains, large cracks, peeling paint, & black areas (mold?)
The walls are dirty, scuffed, damaged, & need to be repainted.
There are no baseboards anywhere in the condo which was just weird.
Two smoke detectors are not installed in the ceiling but instead are on the floor next to the area where they should be.
The carpet, at minimum, needs to be cleaned.
There are burnt out lights bulbs in several fixtures.
There is no auto garage door opener and no way to lock the garage door.
I could go on but I’m running out of characters to type.
Upon check-in, Vacasa sent a text asking if the unit meet our expectations. Unfortunately there was nothing Vacasa could do during our stay to rectify the issues w/this condo. This condo needs window covering, new furnishings, & major maintenance work.

Hello! We love this location. Shuttle takes you to and from Navajo chair lifts. You can walk to pizza and Giant steps from the condo.
The condo was pretty up to par with most things and beautifully located. Definitely a few things I’d change to keep this condo a 5/5. The cleaning company is clearly not detailed or very good. The floors were a mess, vacuum was completely clogged (I fixed it) and the counters were all very dusty. Shower needed a good scrub, lots of lint and junk int corners. All easy fixes. Vacasa was great to work with and made the cleaning issues right immediately. I am going to give my two-sense on a few things…..
1. Detailed cleaning each time would really make people extra happy especially this day and age. That is usually where I’d give my rating. Not on amenities.
2. As for amenities to ease the out town guests stress: Simple spices (salt, pepper), foil, Syran, salad bowls (there are none)
3. Throw away the broken crock pot, the broken pans and update those items. Maybe some coffee filters because people coming have no clue what type of coffee maker is available.
4. These are just ideas to keep out of town guests extra happy.
5. And Finally: I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The location and beauty Aline from the living room is amazing.

View view!! Garage is bad
We had to remove our Thule topper to fit in the garage. Not the end of the world, but options to park outside our garage were limited. The garage had no opener and it was sometimes hard for Me to reach the door to pull it up/down. The garage latch was also broken, so items in the garage weren’t secure. We love the view!! Watch the slopes all day long. Wow. Pretty. I would not call this a 3 bedroom as the 2 upstairs rooms are open to below! Good space, but NOT private except for the one, lower bedroom.

We rented this condo for 4th of July weekend and the location was perfect for walking to and from giant steps lodge.

Excellent stay
We loved this loft! There’s a beautiful view of the slopes through the huge windows in the main room. It was bright and breathtaking. We’ve stayed at Brian head before and this place is by far the biggest and most updated for the price. Easy walk to the giant steps lodge. The internet was great and we did have cable/Hulu. It is true that the snow cat lights can keep the person in the loft awake without some sort of creative wall of pillows or moving the mattress off the bed frame. It would be nice to have curtains on the small window in the big room downstairs. Otherwise, we have not complaints

Very nice condo; could be better though
I loved the beautiful view and location, the open floor plan design, and large spaces. The kitchen was very well equipped for the most part.
However, there is room for improvement to make the guests more comfortable. We were 7 people and two of us had to sleep in sofas, (not sofa beds). The second night we took the mattress of the futon upstairs to the bedroom downstairs. It is difficult to sleep in the loft with lights of the mountains at night and snowplow trucks lights coming down the mountain all night. Even in the downstairs bedroom, the lights came through since there are no curtains. I suggest splitting the large downstairs bedroom into two bedrooms, to allow for more privacy, and have sofa beds or bunk beds. You could even add a third bathroom, which is badly needed when everyone has to get ready at the same time. I did not like the beds on the floor. Were very uncomfortable. Also, missed not having a mirror in the bedroom. For such a large space, we were missing furniture to place suitcases, and there was not a closet either to hang clothes. The TV was too far from the bed. We only had 6 body towels for a condo that is supposed to have 8 people. That was a major inconvenience. The bathrooms were pretty nice, though the sinks over the counter were extremely uncomfortable for my wife 5'1', and my daughters who are about the same height. They had to stand on their toes to reach to brush their teeth. For a child, it is impossible to even wash their hands, and there were no steps. The kitchen was pretty well equipped, however, we missed a pasta colander. I really did not like the oven dirty. And we had a serious leak in the kitchen faucet. We also ran out of trash bags. The walk-in pantry was nice.
Some of the chairs in the dining table need replacement/fixing. The living room was very comfortable and the view made it very enjoyable.

Brian Head Stay
Perfect location, great property but the dryer was busted. No notification prior, just a sign on the dryer saying it was broke. We had our whole family there and had kids snow clothes strung all over thr place to dry. One of the reasons we rented a place like that was to have all the amenities of home and thought we would be able to do a couple of loads to dry the kids gear at the end of the day. With the price that we paid it seems ridiculous that everything wouldn't have been working in the home. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

Great location
No internet - the base lodge has free internet for crying out loud. The TV being linked? Only MSNBC news in the Dish package - come on. No window coverings??? The utensils and pots and pans were lacking. Two baby coffee cups. Plaster falling all over the place? Make a few improvements/put some money back into this thing as you have the best location!!!

Great location - okay amenities
This condo has a great location however keep in mind that it is being managed by A Managment company not the owner so when things break down/don’t work you may not get them fixed while you are there.
Pros: great location and view
Cons:
1. Managed by a management company so when you have issues you better know how to fix it
2. The downstairs shower drain takes a while to drain so you basically stand in your dirty water and next person has to wait several minutes before taking a shower
3. There aren’t two separate bedrooms. You have one bedroom and two lifts and sound of people taking downstairs echos louder in the bedrooms upstairs than downstairs where the conversation is happening.
4. Shower door upstairs has a lose screw so you have to be very careful How u open the shower door
5. TV in the bedroom upstairs basically connected to TV on the main floor so what they watch is what you watch. No other way to change the channel
6. None of the TV remotes worked ( this is odd because multiple reviews stated that )
7. Second floor bathroom kept on getting clogged and we had to use the plunger multiple times.
8. Keep in mind that Garage door is locked so you can’t use the garage. There is a sign that says leave shoes outside so I don’t know how they expect to leave expensive snow shoes/ snow boarding shoes outside in the hallway since the “mod room” access is closed via garage.
9. Rental states “ basic cleaning supplies” like all purpose cleaning which we couldn’t find them
Over all it’s a great place with minor things to consider. There are multiple Of these condos for rent so given another opportunity we probably go with others

Nice place in a Brian Head
The condo was lovely with lots of room for family of four. Could fit more if needed as we didn’t use two of the futons. You have to walk up a flight of stairs to enter which is tough with all the luggage but seems that might be typical in lots of Brian Head condos. The kitchen and bathrooms were great. Only complaint was that they didn’t provide hardly any paper towels and toilet paper. There was one tiny weak roll of PT and two of TP. We arrived during a storm so it was bothersome. Also there are no blinds so bring a sleep mask if you wish to sleep in. And there is a funny noise in the downstairs bedroom almost like creaky leaky pipes that went off every 2 hours so maybe ear plugs as well. We managed and were grateful for the modern clean space and proximity to the Giant Steps lodge and lift as well as the Saloon, Pizza place and general store.
