The luxury of convenience, excellent service in the beautiful gardens and pools of the village setting.

The greatest joy of being a guest at Sharq Village is being treated like a real honoured guest. The second joy, is the spacious beauty of the low rise village architecture. Marvellously designed to evoke the traditional Qatar village and meticulously maintained with constant shelter from sun and wind. The two main pools offer a choice of swimming and lounging, top only by the beach, when the weather is just right.

We could not tune into our Netflix but that was small problem with pool and grounds to amuse us.

Pas de chance ( accident m’a privé de la mer et d’autres activités)

Ns Avons eu un surclassement dans une suite le 2 em jour , car j’ai eu un accident à l’arrivée dans la chambre réservée ( j’ai glissé sur le marbre de la salle de bain). Cette suite était plus comfortable avec meilleure vue sur la mer . Le personnel était très gentil et serviable avec moi compte tenu que je ne pouvais pas bien marcher suite à cet accident.

Nous avons trouvé que la qualité de nourriture dans le restaurent principal n’était pas toujours à l’hauteur d’un hôtel de 5 étoiles. Le petit déjeuner n’avait pas assez de fruits frais. Un décor un peu triste de la salle du restaurent principal, pas lumineux.

Good stay, I want express my gratitude to security team & cleaner Mr Sugar for their integrity, because I forget some amount of money in the room, security contacted me to inform me that I forgot the money. I really appreciate it. Special thanks to them!

Sound proof not perfect. You can hear sound from other rooms. Also, I ordered food from Persian restaurant by QR705, sea food and grilled, I really not expected the taste of the food is not good also, blood smell from the plate and food observed!!!

A truly luxurious hotel, spa, & resort without any pretentiousness

The staff were wonderful; always very approachable, friendly, super courteous, & genuine in their interactions. Can’t rate them highly enough

It was a wonderful hotel, spa, & resort & we lived every minut, but … Although the dinner & breakfast inclusions were fabulous in quality, any extra eg tea in one of the lounges were incredibly expensive. Alcohol was available, excellent quality but also very expensive

Kurz und knapp war es sehr angenehm !!

Wirklich jeder ist sehr nett, der Service Weltklasse einfach nur wie im Paradies !!

Mir hat nicht gefallen das da fremde Leute rein kommen konnten und Strand und Pool benutzen konnten für Geld. Die Hotel Gäste waren wirklich sehr angenehm, aber die Gäste die von außen kamen waren mehrheitlich sehr Asozial!! Als Pärchen will man sein Urlaub genießen, aber die Blicke Richtung meiner Frau hat mich mehrmals wütend gemacht!! Super tolles Hotel aber dieser Service macht’s unseriös. Für so ein teures Hotel sollte man lieber auf solche Sachen verzichten.

Great little resort for families

The resort itself was a decent size, it's not huge, so for families it's perfect. My mom was taken ill during our stay and I'd like to thank the security head who acted promptly and efficiently and had the paramedics out within 5 mins. They were so kind and sent goodies to the room, staff had come over to check on us, can not fault it, lovely team.

I think having travelled alot, I believe the kids club needs working on, there's nothing much going on apart from a room, parents are on holiday too and its important to have a facility available where the child doesn't get bored after an hour. Also the crazy music at the pool was a bit much as our terrace opened onto the pool... was a little odd and disruptive. Perhaps opt for something calmer in line with a 5 star resort?

Pleasant, relaxing, safe. Expected a little more luxury though

Pool facing villa was central with good access to all hotel facilities. Staff were very friendly and supportive. Hotel is very close to the airport.

Very noisy early morning and at night (early morning pool users and surrounding guests partying till early hours in the neighbouring attached villas) Food quality - especially room service - was not up to expected standards. Property is a little run down - needs a face lift.

Wonderful!

Beautiful resort. Staff so friendly and helpful. Little touches made our holiday e.g. we returned to our room after day out and staff had sprinkled roses everywhere. Would definitely return.

Beautiful hotel

Beautiful hotel, couldnt fault anything, spectacular views, lovely beach and pools with soft sand and clear water. A special mention to Badr Errasfi from the restaurant made us feel veey welcome with great hospitality, always smiling and cheerful. Would stay again here.

Excellent staff which are always ready to help and accommadate your needs. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The facilities are excellent. The food is tasty with plenty of choice. Its perfect if you are looking for a relaxing place. Not suitable for those seeking entertainment and nightlife.

Profesjonalna i zawsze pomocna obsługa. Duży wybór potraw w restauracji. Na terenie obiektu kilka stref na wypoczynek. Właśnie prywatna plaża z leżakami, materacami i ręcznikami. Pięknie zadbany teren i czysty.

Obok hotelu znajduje się klub nocny/bar gdzie codziennie do późnych godzin słychać głośną muzykę, która jest bardzo uciążliwa.

Definitely will be back to stay in the hotel

The team seems very friendly and kind. I lived in Doha 7 years ago and Sharq village was one of my spa place. Love Arabic style room and decoration. Was excited to visit again and my kids were first time in Qatar. I was traveling with two kids alone and it wasn't easy. However, The hotel team was very hospitality. From check-in to Check-out, everything made my life easier. Was so perfect break. House keeping was amazing and the cleaner name Swath(sorry for the wrong spelling) was very helpful. I love to back to stay in the hotel again. Thank you for everything. Hope your team get happier and more success.

This is a fantastic hotel. Great staff

Great friendly staff, nice restaurants and very good facilities. It is very calm and spacious hotel. We are traveling with two small children and the hotel is very accommodating for their needs - the Ritz kids Club staff were really great.

There are two restaurants in the resort. One more would be ideal.

Sehr, sehr tolle Auszeit vom Winter.

Sensationell gelegenes, ausgestattetes und sich in sehr guter Verfassung präsentierendes Resort. Wirklich eine sehr, sehr schöne Anlage und qualitativ einfach unfassbar hochwertiges Ambiente. Rasen, Gebäude, Zimmer, der Poolbereich sind sehr, sehr sehr gepflegt und das Sharq Village legt großen Wert auf umfassenden und zuvorkommenden Service. Wer sich die Lage des Hotels zuvor auf der Karte ansieht, hat vielleicht Zweifel wegen der verkehrsreichen Straße nicht weit entfernt. Aber man hört und sieht von ihr nichts. Ebensowenig wie vom Flughafen.

Das Sharq Village bietet einen Zugang für Event-Organizer: in unserem Fall war es eine Hochzeitsgesellschaft, die bis tief in die Nacht (02:30 h) zu ohrenbetäubender Live-Musik feierte. ("They have a license for", sagte der Security-Mann achselzuckend). Schon klar, bei Autos im Wert von ca. 10 Mio. auf dem Parkplatz. An Schlaf war in dieser Nacht eher nicht zu denken bzw. sehr spät. Hier sollte sich das Hotel entscheiden, ob es sich als ein Top-Resort positionieren möchte, oder als Event-Location. Beides passt nicht zusammen bzw. wenn man die Events mit bei sich hat, dann braucht's vernünftigere Regeln für die Musik.

Brilliant hotel.

The very high ratings and 5 star speak for themselves. I had a great time, felt absolutely spoiled and loved our stay. Rooms - super large comfortable bed, furniture was beautiful and solid quality. Facilities - amazing pools, plenty of space, lovely clean beach. Beautiful interiors of hotel, great buffet with plenty of choice. Staff - everyone smiles and is helpful. Final top tip, I thought this place was great for kids. Our 3 year old loved the pool, fountains, beach, bouncy castle, racket and ball games. Happy to recommend to parents.
