The location. The rooms were clean
We weren’t able to have breakfast in the main area so we had to bend over on small table to eat. Everytime we went to get food we were asked again to say our names to book us in! We were forgotten with coffee until we’d nearly finished our breakfast and I asked for a decaf tea but that never came.
Check in was also very long even though I had booked and already paid through booking.com and showed the confirmation I was told one of the rooms was for the day before which it clearly wasn’t. This took a long time to sort out.

Location great. Very Clean
Room was tiny and noisy and poor value for money. £123 and no breakfast!

The location
I arrived, had to ask twice if my request for non feather bedding had been completed. The room was sweltering, phoned reception, asked if there was air conditioning or a fan. Was asked three times if I had paid for my room, not sure what that had to do with me requesting a fan. Eventually a desk fan arrived ( house keeping staff member was lovely and apologised). Room was shabby, with the bath panel hanging off the side of the bath and a chunk out of the wall ( see photos). Staff more interested in helping other guests. I expect more for £175 a night. I would not stay again.
4.2
Very nice hotel, with an amazing bed and perfect position in the city
The walls are paper thin, I could hear next door talking like we where sharing a room
4.2
Great location and very well appointed hotel.
Staff very pleasant and professional.
We had a phone call from a member of staff the day before we arrived which was very helpful and informative. A lovely personal touch!
Our room was very small and we struggled to store our bags etc without tripping over them when moving about the room.

Great location, plenty of parking , bang on central, big breakfast

We were at the hotel for our daughter’s 2 wedding weekends and the support and attention to detail was fantastic. A special mention to Holly at reception who also remembered us when we returned later - great
A small point-Breakfast was a little chaotic with no one to escort us to a table - we waited at the til. The staff were lovely and food great- suspect a staff shortage

4.2
The place was so clean, beautiful and had all the facilities at the room. Convenient parking and the staff were so kind and polite.
4.2
Quality hotel really centrally located. Room was spacious and nice to have chocolate and bottled water etc.
Breakfast on a Sunday morning could be better organised. Whilst it's great to be able to turn up when you like, tables weren't available and one junior member of staff fighting a losing battle to explain that there would be a short wait to some very impatient guests.
4.2
Staff were attentive and pleasant.
Room was cosy but well appointed with tea, coffee, cookies.

The hotel looks great. Unfortunately the walls were so thin I could hear next door until 1:30am and then in the morning from 4:18am. That’s very disappointing and I couldn’t get a good nights sleep.

The location and the view from the hotel are great. Before checking in, the hotel sent a form to add your preferences, and based on that, a king-size bed was provided in the room I stayed in.
One of the elevators wasn't working and you had to wait a long time to get down and up to your room.
4.2
The location was good - near the river and close to lots of attractions, shops and the station. The view from the bedroom was great and was not noisy at all. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable and the hotel was clean and well-kept with a lovely lobby and lounge with bar on the ground floor. The staff were all very friendly and we enjoyed the cocktails at Rick’s and the dinner at the Grille. The access to the car park on the first floor was very useful.
The bathroom was not as nice as we had hoped - mostly the shower facility was a little small and basic, although the shower itself was acceptable and the water pressure and temperature were good. Everything in the bathroom got very wet with condensation though. We have had more luxurious bathrooms in hotels of the same price. We would like to have had more tea and milk without having to constantly ask the housekeeping staff. Breakfast was a little strange in that we had to stand and decide what we wanted before we were given a table, without really knowing what was available. The car park entrance and exit was extremely difficult to drive up and down as we have a wide car - but that is not the fault of the hotel - just something to note.
4.2
Room was spacious, with a superbly comfy bed and crisp, soft linen. The bathroom was small but perfectly formed, clean and had all one would need for a one-night stay. the hotel was located by a harbour area in what is the food quarter. Shops were a 10-20 minute walk away.
View was disappointing - it was an internal-facing room so all that could be seen was the building itself! The tea/coffee provisions were a bit sparse.
4.2
The room was lovely - very spacious and comfortable. We felt immediately relaxed, especially as the lovely receptionist had given us a voucher for a drink in the bar, which we took advantage of later. The reception and public areas have a nice sophisticated vibe - and smell delicious! We stayed earlier this year and on both occasions, felt ourselves unwinding as soon as we entered the hotel.
The bathroom was a little small in relation to the spacious room - not quite enough space to comfortably move around although everything was cleverly fitted in, including a small bath (perfect for me as I am not tall)! A small detail - the remote control for the TV was missing a battery so it didn't work. This wasn't a problem for us as we were in for a short time before going out again - but some people might have planned to spend longer in the room watching TV.
4.2
Beautiful Hotel. Excellent customer service, staff were friendly and efficient, easy to check in online no problems on arrival. The room was perfect, extremely comfortable bed, huge TV, soft towels, the room was warm and comfortable, dressing gowns/slippers provided. Lovely view of the ferris wheel, Bristol lights & Harbourside. Walking distance to town center and all it has to offer, food, nightlife etc..
Nothing we didn’t like.
4.2
I like the lounge and bar areas
I have to say the piano playing in the morning is not necessary, just quiet background music would be more suitable as the restaurant views etc. are lovely
4.2
Very clean
4.2
The property was clean, comfortable and our room was upgraded which was really lovely of them.
There was nothing I didn’t like about the property.
4.2
Bed was soft and lumpy, furniture was tired and in need of a refresh
Narrow parking access, tired look and feel, not good value for money
4.2
Breakfast was well priced. Room was clean and fresh.
The room was a bit small.
4.2
Location in the centre of the city and close to restaurants and tourist attractions.
4.2
Everything.
Bar was good. Room was excellent.
Location perfect.
Parking onsite.
All was good.
4.2
Position and breakfast included the breakfast staff really nice stay
4.2
Staff were friendly and helpful. Ordered room service and that was good, came when they said. Liked the car park right next door.
Noisy room, we were put on the corner of the hotel by a cut through. Only one set of towels in room and couldn't adjust the temperature of the shower. A panel was hanging off the wall in the room. Hotel seemed dated and in need of tlc.
4.2
Nice business style hotel that also works for a city break
Noisy bars in the weekend. Luckily didn’t keep me awake, but might easily might have.
They have taken away the EV charging!!! Hence low score for facilities.
