Great location, lovely staff
Room was quite grubby, hairdryer not working, and was very noisy in the night - maybe just my room by reception with people coming and going. There was also a loud humming noise over night - maybe a water tank. Breakfast was cold!
5.0
Breakfast was good and the location of the hotel is very convenient.
It was too loud because you can hear people in other rooms through the walls. Some might say it creates a sense of community, yet disturbs sleep.

La posizione e la disponibilità dello staff
La pulizia carente, la posizione della camera dietro la reception…troppo rumorosa.

Location & price
Walls were wafer thin and you could hear everything from the room next door. No hot breakfast due to staff shortages
8.0
Staff helpful and friendly, breakfast great and location perfect. Comfy beds and not a noisy hotel.
A bit dated but it didn’t bother us, rather have the friendly staff and good breakfast any day.

Good breakfast, friendly staff
A bit too far out. Too many stairs, no lift.

The staff
Noise, dirty, don’t clean the room!

breakfast was ok. Location was good in Clifton
I was in room 2. From 5am i heard floor boards directly above me. I heard kitchen staff walking around opening doors all morning. It looked like a building site.

The Washinton is well located for university open days and serves as a great base. Although the walls are a little thin and the our toilet was a little tempermental, the shower was good, the beds were comfortable and the staff really couldn't have been nicer.

Good location
The bed was extremely uncomfortable- old broken springs poking into the back is never a recipe for success. The hotel as a whole was extremely tired and underwhelming.

Good location close to city centre Excellent breakfast.
Scaffolding outside hotel front. Dirty downstairs in basement with building workers footprints on plastic covers. Received message regarding this after check in by email too late to change my decision .Receptionist not a happy person.

The location was excellent. The staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The room was very comfortable.

Wide choice at breakfast and more than sufficient for most appetites. On site parking, dog friendliness and reasonable prices are what makes this our hotel of choice when we stay in Bristol.
Would have preferred a room at ground level rather than top floor as there is no lift. But we booked at short notice so it was to be expected that a room lower down was not available.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating, listening to my needs and responding accordingly. My son had left 2 of his favourite soft toys in the room when we left and I was so grateful to the helpful and honest staff for contacting us to arrange for them to be returned to us. Thank you! My son was delighted and I was relieved!

Location, friendly staff, breakfast good, free wifi. Close to University.
Room was tired, no mattress protector as mattress was stained, same for pillows, shower needed re grouting and new silicone around shower tray as looked tired. Bathroom floor was not level.

Property a bit dated, bathtub peeling off, small dining room

Staff were fab, engaging, polite, helpful and always had a welcome smile and friendly greeting.
Breakfast wasn't available due to staffing shortages but £16 per couple per day was refunded.
Parking on secure site was available £8 per day. First come 1st served basis was a welcome bonus as the parking around bristol is expensive and limited in Clifton.
Bedrooms had a very good welcome tray, tea; assortment, coffee, hot chocolate milk biscuits and fresh fruit...if in season head out to the hotel's carpark when a delious, prolific fruiting plum tree stands.
Great location. Easy walking into clifton village, Bristol centre and local neighbourhoods.
Would definately visit again and stay at the Washington.
Keep up the great work folks.
Although the place is basic and a little tired, it's spotlessly clean, excellent value for money and in a great location

The location is superb. The hotel can accommodate special requests upon booking. The kitchen staff are hard working and extremely friendly. The breakfast is delicious with vegetarian options. Good value for money and perfect location. Almost all reception team members were cheerful and helpful. Housekeeping accommodated our requests and were happy to help.
Mattresses aren’t that comfortable and small double bed for a couple is a challenge.
The room wasn’t that spacious and neither was the bathroom.

Lovely and cosy weekend in Bristol! Uber is cheap to town center and there's a museum right next door! As well as a few cute places to drink.
Some of the furniture could definitely be revamped but overall, very clean and cosy.

Bed was super soft, very comfy :) Breakfast was great, very polite friendly staff. The location being away from everything meant it was decently quiet, good for rest..
The room was quite small, but this is maybe just a cultural difference for me. The location was slightly away from everything, I was not a fan of the church/party music.. vagrants and teenagers on the street were intimidating, but the cops were doing a good job of cleaning them up :)

A plan and simple hotel, clean and tidy, breakfast as excellent, staff very good.
shared bathroom
