Old world charm, perfect location to explore the city on foot. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Room #6 is the best with large picture window. Breakfast for 10 euro has plenty to offer and coffee bar was perfect. Laundry service also very nice to have 15 euro. Need a taxi, they will call for you or you can use Uber or Freenow apps to get a taxi.

I was extremely unhappy and disappointed
I am terminally ill, and I booked a hotel room in Cork as I'm from here, and I have come home to die, so basically I wanted to meet with family and friends and stay in a hotel as opposed to a bed and breakfast so we could sit in the bar and spend time together, the hotel bar was for residents only, my family nor friends were able to enter the premise, so I'd to gather all my bags and leave the "hotel", before midnight, I was refused a refund, absolutely devastated and extremely upset..

Staff were nice, check-in and out was super fast. I appreciate tiny things like the coffee and tea in the room. Few minutes from train/bus/city centre.
It was expensive although I understand this is the normal in Ireland, other hotels were even more expensive.

Good location , very clean bed linen and bathroom
Furniture , decor quite dated but clean and it does look like it’s being updated in other areas of the hotel.

Location and nothing more
Everything, rooms where overpriced, and dated, wood chip wallpaper on ceiling, room was so small had sliding door on bathroom, carpet was torn and patched all over, electric sockets from 1980, definitely wouldn't recommend, for an extra $20 can get a luxury hotels in same street.

Located in the heart of the city, easy to get to, parking available
Small room, old hotel, musty smell

Great location , very comfortable bed and room was spotless clean. The location is bang in the middle so everything is in walking distance. Staff are very friendly.
The hotel itself is a little bit dated and could do with a redecorating.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms and good water pressure.
Old and somewhat worn down hotel.

Location /staff were very good
Room was to warm to sleep well
7.0
Friendly and accommodating staff. Its location is excellent, conveniently situated in the heart of the city, close to various attractions and public transportation.
The triple rooms might be on the smaller side.
The breakfast offered is not your typical English breakfast,

The staff were friendly, but I felt sorry for them having to work there. Presumably they're the ones who get the brunt of all the complaints.
The owner has some neck charging these prices for what was essentially a very old-fashioned B&B. I appreciate that keeping a business afloat comes at a price these days, but this was exceptionally bad. I've never left a bad review online before but I really don't want anyone else wasting their money on such an uncomfortable and outdated "hotel".

Helpful staff and comfortable clean rooms. Excellent location would definitely use this hotel again
Parking in the rear is a challenge but space was available both nights so it was fine.
