Amazing stay - definitely recommend

Room was very spacious with a king bed. Facilities in the room was really good too, shower was lovely, provided with iron/iron board hairdryer etc, the location was superb and only 15 min walk from the west end theatres! Breakfast ticked all boxes and food was exceptional for a buffet breakfast..

Theirs not much we didn’t like, the only exception was the main restaurant was having renovations and we could hear drilling whilst eating breakfast, albeit quiet.

Great location, lovely staff, premium price

I was met by a lovely guy at reception, I think he was a trainee. In fact all staff I interacted with on my very brief stay were great. Was upgraded to a King room which had everything needed inc iron, decent hairdryer and Nespresso machine. I asked for a quiet room with a bath, which is what I got, though the bath was so small I didn’t bother. Great shower though. When I first walked in to the room on 1st floor the musty smell was extremely strong. Thankfully, I could open the windows, I sprayed some perfume and let the room air for 30 minutes or so while I went out for some dinner. It was much more bearable when I got back. Enjoyed the breakfast too and was granted an extra hour before checkout.

Never stayed in a Doubletree before, but it’s definitely not what I thought it would be, it seems very expensive for nothing outstanding. Room didn’t feel fresh and clean, even though it had been cleaned.

Not as expected and wouldn’t stay again

Staff were friendly and breakfast was good. Reception and bar area were lovely. Good location.

The room was a split level room and was not as the pictures looked like when we booked. We got to the hotel at 10.20am but we knew we wouldn’t be able to check in then so we stored our luggage and went to explore. We got back around 3pm and the room still wasn’t ready and we had to wait a further 20mins whilst it had its ‘final inspection’ Once we were in our room we found crumbs on the floor and there was a stain on the carpet both in the upstairs part and the downstairs part and there was a bit of wallpaper hanging off the wall in 1 corner, we did not have expect this from a 4 star Hilton hotel and a premium room. The sofa bed had already been pulled out which gave us zero room to manoeuvre around the room. As the room was on a split level we found this didn’t work too well for us and the spotlights on the stairs went off with the rest of the lights which isn’t great if you need to go to the bathroom in the night. The toilets off reception were never fully clean and there was toilet paper on the floor a few times we used there. Overall not great for the price we payed when we could have found a much nicer hotel.

Pleasant stay in a great location

Travelled to London for a family birthday and due to train strike needed to stay another night and we’re delighted to receive a free upgrade when we checked in

Facilities in the room were comfortable but still basic There were only two lifts working so we used the stairs even when carrying luggage due to the amount of people

Apart from fridge, a nice stay.

It was welcoming, clean and was given an upgrade on arrival that we hadn’t asked for. Instead of double bed it was larger, which I missed out on ordering anyway so was pleased.

The only thing wrong was the fridge did not work and we ask the staff to check it as we wanted cold drinks & had an uneaten sandwich left in there, they said a maintenance person would check it and sort it out. Sadly they only moved it in the cupboard from right to left but it made no difference. So no cold drinks in the evening and had to through away the sandwich, not impressed with service to be left with it still not working as we left.

A semi relaxing (we did a lot of walking!) stay in a comfy familiar hotel.

We normally stay at this hotel when my partner has MS appts at the National Hospital but decided to use it this time to celebrate his 75th birthday. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very clean. The cookies given on booking in are amazing!

Bit disappointed there was no fridge in the room as we normally have to bring injections for my partner which have to be kept in the fridge but assume I didn’t notice this when booking. We got down for breakfast at about 9ish and I was surprised that the pastries and some of the meats on offer hadn’t been topped up although there was some time to go before breakfast service ended. The food we had however was lovely and varied and the staff were really helpful and efficient.

Not worth the money but great location.

The breakfast and lounge area were very good.

Very kindly given a free upgrade. Only to find room had not been cleaned. Long hair on the bed . I'm bald. Toe or finger nail clippings on the carpet. Clump of black hair behind bathroom door. So the manager said they would move me. I was moved to a very old tired looking room desperately in need of updating. The bathroom had broken chiped floor tiles. It was a huge disappointment

Clean, very comfy and welcoming

Clean, super comfy bed and lovely pillows. Honoured my request for a walk-in shower as I didn't realise the room I had booked had a bath and this stay was pre spinal surgery.

Reception staff on both check in and check out were lovely. We stay in London a lot but have never stayed here before but when I'm mobile again this will be our go to hotel. Easy location, modern, nice towels and room was very clean

早餐5天都一樣,住得高但沒有水力及沒熱水SHOWER,後來換房住極低層(1樓),據說是升了級,房是大了但舊裝修,窗景是後巷, 完全無VIEW可言,但夠熱水,但BATH ROOM內有個鬚刨是上一個客的也沒清走,BATH ROOM內舖地毛巾是新的白的但浴內多數是偏偏的灰色的真是不配自稱五星級.

Great… no issues

Great location. The staff were very lovely. It was for our anniversary stay and we had a cake and card with well wishes with compliments from the hotel. The room was great, spacious, clean and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend and come back.

Lack of parking facilities. The closest is NCP parking which is 2 mins away from the hotel but very expensive so maybe get discounts for hotel stays.

The hotel provided its accommodation service, but I cannot say the same for satisfaction.

I am satisfied with the cleanliness of the room and the location of the hotel. Although the breakfast variety was limited, I was satisfied with the service provided. Especially the employees at breakfast were very attentive.

I stated that I could arrive at the hotel a little early when making the reservation. I remember the check-in time as 14.00. Since I went early, I waited for a long time with my luggage. Also, since the male staff told me the check-in time was 15.00 at check-in, they made me wait another half hour even though I came back to the hotel at 15.00. I had traveled by plane for 5 hours and it was a very bad experience. In addition, the coffee in the room was said to be free for the first time, but while we only used 2, it was renewed and we could not use the other products we did not use free of charge. There was a price difference of nearly one night between this hotel and the Waldorf Hilton, but I think this hotel is definitely not worth this money. The location may be nice, but there were nice hotels and more affordable hotels around Hyde Park and Covent Garden.

Stay was ok - Not memorable, nor a disaster either!

Room - reasonable size; bed - comfortable; decent size tv; good tea/coffee facilities

Had to request bath plug for bath! Difficulty in turning on shower with getting drenched with cold water first! Food a little on expensive side. Lack of sports channels on tv in room, and in bar! Even Sky Sports News would have been a help!

Family room worked well with a child. The location is very central and close to the major tourist attractions.

Better first time

The location was great and the staff extremely helpful.

Some of the rooms were quite tacky (settled on 3rd offered) and the layout very bad. A couple of the complementary toiletries were empty, bulbs not in lamps... Stayed before at the hotel and it was excellent, this time not so much.. for the money paid...

The lobby and corridors on ground floor smelt of smoke. Being woken up at 3 for over half an hour whilst the recycling was collected right outside our window on the first floor. No coffee machine.

Very nice stay, perfect for a west end visit

I just stayed there for one night to see a show in the west end so didn't spend much time in the hotel but from what I saw, I would recommend and return again. It was clean, staff were friendly, easy check-in and check-out. Located near tube so it was very easy to get around and the area its self seemed good.

Nothing to add. I wasn't there very long so no complaints.

Good location for 20minute walk to theatres. Less busy than central west end locations.

Clean and comfortable and airy. Bathroom facilities and toiletries excellent. Very good breakfast.

Disappointing

The location was pretty good.

The room was small and the bed was like sleeping on the floor. For the price of a nights stay I would have expected a comfortable bed and complimentary tea, coffee and water.

Was ok but bad sleep

Location was good and nice check In

The tv hardly had any channels that worked as we were in basement. Noise from workers I assume and wasn’t happy wjth the location of the room at all Bed was very noisy just moving around in night waking me and partner up. Spoke to reception and they just said sorry about that which wasn’t really a good outcome.

Convenient and expensive.

Location was convenient for our purposes over two nights. The staff were very friendly. The bed was very comfortable and although the room was small it was all that we needed.

Surprised that neither the desk nor standard lamp worked and there was no shower mat. In addition, the two small plastic bottles of water on the side table were chargeable at £2 each, which seemed pretty petty considering the cost of the room.
