The staff are always really helpful & friendly, we have a meal brought to the room & food is great !
8.0
Jolly helpful staff. It’s what you need after a hard day working.
The damaged and slippery bath, as a shower not safe.
10.0
Great staff, comfy bed, decent wifi, free parking, country location so nice surroundings and a big room. On balance price v facilities it's was absolutely 10/10.
On balance the likes and dislikes on the price paid, it would be unfair to be negative when the positives I have listed far outweigh any minor niggles I may have.
7.0
Clean room and linen
Breakfast on cold plates and poor logistics. (No toaster, tea and coffee served in thermoses, queue for buffet cramped and not logical.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very nice and there was a very good choice available.
The room was a bit tired and dated. The bathroom basin didn't hold water very well. The bed was quite hard and the pillows were terrible. I stay in lots of hotels around the country, and although this one was quite nice, it wasn't very good value for money.

Bathroom and facilities were good , clean large bath towels .
Getting a little tired , poor quality beds .
Not impressed with being put in a a ground floor room next to a disco party. Reception staff need to wise up about where they put their guests

nice location, quiet.
dated, needs a refurb. very uncomfortable
mattress that was indented due to years of use.

Good Location. Pet friendly. ground floor room. Good parking.
Carpet in room stained in places, Not allowed to sit in sun at rear of property as this area was reserved for corporate guests which I thought we were. only tables where one could sit were at the front of premises, where the two tables concerned were taken up by smokers. Evening meal was very poor, Onion rings were swimming in oil, I ordered hunters chicken, chicken itself was fine stemmed broccoli was a waste of time, items looked lost on the plate. My wife had a burger. We would have been better off having a Burger king down the end of the road and cheaper at that.

lots of little touches, wash cloth, sew kit, fan, etc. nice grounds
not much around, but that didn’t matter to me

breakfast was good and y wife's linguini was excellent.
WAs served the worst pizza I have ever had. It was obvious bought in (which would not have mattered if it had been of reasonable quality) but was made of almost inedible dough with just a pathetic amount of filling.

not good value for money
food was terrible and room was old and dirty

Breakfast good, location good.
The room was cold the first night due to the radiator being turned off, reception had to use a spanner to turn it on. No food Sunday night. Food next night very basic and lacked choice.

Nice location just 15mins from Crawley/Gatwick. Food in the restaurant was good.
The hotel is looking a little dated. No aircon available in the rooms but there is a fan supplied. The dining room was very cold when we visited which made it uncomfortable to say for more than 30 minutes.

I was informed I had to book breakfast, it wasn’t includdd in the price, so I declined.
The heating wasn’t on, the mattress was in terrible condition, the steel basket in the shower was rusty, the plug holes in bathroom were rusty, it was dated and in poor condition

It was clean.
Bar Staff were friendly
Priority was given to wedding party over other paying customers. Would have appreciated it if the hotel had advised us there would be a larger party at same time as our stay so we could make a informative decision on our stay regarding noise levels and lack of food available.
Reception staff offered to order taxi for us but they didn’t ordered it and don’t advise so time was wasted ordering another one and waiting for them to arrive which resulted in us being late to another paid event we were going to.
Restaurant was closed and no meals were available at hotel due to a wedding event, however this was not disclosed prior to arriving. Had I known about the wedding party, I would have reconsidered my stay or made alternative meal arrangements and as Hotel is in an isolated area we were unable to order food from external restaurant.
Breakfast was cold and they served luke warm tea with stale cold toast.
Breakfast was buffet style but they ran out of breakfast supplies (Beans, mushrooms & bacon) poor management with a large party booking.
Ordered poached eggs for breakfast but they had been forgotten about and ended up coming out late and well over cooked.
Poor service for a paying customer.
