Excellent location and good breakfast!
The bedroom key to "The Clerks" (I think)was extremely awkward to either open or remove the key even! Please replace the lock!!!

L’hôtel est très bien situé, la literie était super confortable et le petit dej était succulent ! Parking à tarif préférentiel juste en face, c’était vraiment top

I enjoyed the breakfast. And the staff were friendly.
The bar in the garden and people taking and because it was hot I could not close the window.

Great location to city center with extremely friendly staff. Leon even helped us with our bags!
Older inn with charm along canal.
Public parking was available across the street.
We had to pay for a cuppacino at breakfast time???? At our all hotels we ordered breakfast and here was the only place we had to pay extra??? Not good practice.

We enjoyed our stay food very good

Room was clean, quite large, well appointed, and with beautiful views. Easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see while in town. Easy to park in the large lot across the street. Service was excellent, and the food in the restaurant downstairs was amazing.
The only thing that could be improved about our room is the shower. It is a clawfoot tub, so has a very narrow curtain hanging around it which tends to stick to you when showering. Not sure how this would be fixed, but it was the only negative part of our stay.

Really convenient. Lovely view over mill stream. Comfortable. Friendly staff, good breakfast and wi fi.

All of our expectations were fulfilled! Comfortable and quiet place to stay, within walking distance of the train station and the center of Canterbury. We had two rooms at the top, with a private hallway. We had a view of the river on one side and the cathedral on the other. Good breakfast with a variety of choices included in the room price. Great pub with delicious food and beer! Very friendly and helpful hosts! We were able to store our luggage, after check-out, so we could see more of Canterbury the day we had to leave. Thank you Paul, Paul's wife, and staff for your wonderful hospitality!
The toilet in my room was a bit out-dated and didn't always flush properly.
If you have trouble climbing stairs, this may not be the place for you.

Great central location, civilised family-oriented pub, amazing breakfast.
None.

Can't fault the food, the service and the room. As before the food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable.
The mattress could do with turning, as it felt like you were going to fall out, as most people sit on the edge of the bed so it seemed to sag a bit. The quilt needed replacing, as there was a small hole. The hot tap in the bathroom needs looking at, as it trickles out if you turn it on a little to wash your hands, but if your turn it on more, splashes over the front and after a minute it slows down so much, it trickles around the tap and dribbles over the side.
4.5
location, staff, food, relaxing atmosphere.
Ease of parking just few metres away that is greatly reduced for guests of the hotel.
I was kept awake by the river opposite, the wear being quite noisy, so if I stayed again I would wear ear plugs. I’d like to stay again as everything else was great.

The Millers Arms is absolutely lovely! The room was lovely and comfortable and is located next to the river, which you can see from the window. The building is an old mill, hence the name, so it is very quaint and cosy.
The staff were absolutely lovely. Very friendly and welcoming and always interested in your day, how things are going, are you comfortable and satisfied etc.
Our stay had ended, and we had to leave :(

Good location. Very good evening meal in the restaurant. Big fluffy towels. The young woman in the bar when we arrived worked hard to keep everything going and to try to sort out problems for us.
We booked a "spacious double room" and expected a buffet breakfast as per website. Instead we were given a tiny twin room; there was no manager available to address this until the next day! However the young woman who checked us in was able to put us in a larger twin room. The breakfast was a major disappointment - table service only and not enough staff for this to work smoothly - you couldn't even get a top up of coffee easily. The only uncooked breakfast option on d1 was unavailable, and the sausage in my second choice wasn't fully cooked through (to be fair this was replaced when I complained. The ensuite bathroom stank of damp/drains - we were told this was only to be expected in an old building in the rain (!). The building all seemed a bit rundown with holey stair carpet, rattling bedroom windows that didn't shut properly etc. To top it all off, the final bill was incorrect - we had been charged double for the parking.

Very clean, helpful cheerful staff - pretty good view too! Bath an added luxury.
No cereals, fruit or yogurt for breakfast.

Breakfast was superb with lots of choice and good quality;staff unfailingly kind, helpful; I have rarely stayed in a hotel and so no idea what is 'value for money' and appreciated the luxury of it for me; being so central to the city was lovely - beautiful walk along the river, easy to get to the cathedral for evensong; it was a real treat.

Great location near the town, large car park next door the hotel offer a great deal for the parking for 24hours. Lovely rooms clean and value for money. Breakfast is fantastic we had full English.

Breakfast was excellent although sadly missing black pudding. Plenty of hot water for bath.
Unfortunately "Parsons" was over the main entrance and I was woken at 8am by the dray lorry collecting many metal barrels.
