very nice, comfy hotel, nice staff and a very good breakfast. And a nice bar as a plus
all was very good
4.2
Right in the heart of Canterbury, short walk from West Canterbury station. Staff were kind and helpful, room was lovely, breakfast provided, pleasant atmosphere.
There was nothing to dislike. A great stay.
4.2
The hotel was beautifully decorated with a lovely bar. The room was quite small but so cute with a four poster bed and lovely bathroom.
It could possibly have had a few more members of staff at key times like breakfast and check out in the morning. Staff members however were SO nice!!!
4.2
Breakfast was excellent best part of our stay, room was ok, bed was comfortable and bathroom was very clean,
also hotel was in a great location for visiting Canterbury.
Being charged an extra £36 pound to park considering I'd already paid getting on for £600 for a 3 night stay,
Also the hairdryer did not reach the mirror, the blinds in room 24 were not big enough for the windows, and just outside room 24 was the cleaner's storage cupboard so while we were in the room all we could hear was people talking and banging about in the morning and evening doors need to be sound proofed as it was quite noisy.
Probably would stay again but we would like a different room from the one we had.
4.2
Centraal gelegen, nette kamers.
Geen te openen ramen.
4.2
Lovely room, very clean. Nice having our own courtyard with table & chairs to sit outside in the sun. Breakfast was really nice with plenty to choose from. Great location, right in the town centre so able to walk everywhere in town.
nothing

Great location, lovely staff and good breakfast.
Room size small
4.2
Lovely, clean hotel, great location. The staff at breakfast were really helpful, and the food was delicious. It's a really great place to stay and always my first choice.
4.2
Nothing really.
Personnel items disappeared. Room service took it. Reception responded to customer request incompetently. Parking full when late. Only one small window for room 1st floor (no ventilation). Couldn’t get food in the pub.
4.2
The twin-bed room was perfekt and the staff was very helpful in organizing a Taxi to Heathrow on July 20
4.2
Friendly staff, comfortable room, good selection at breakfast.
The bathroom access was up one step and then 2 more steps which was a bit odd.
4.2
The bed was massive and super comfy. Location so close to station and the centre of Canterbury.
4.2
location, breakfast, friendly staff, comfy beds, water pressure
paying for parking (12 a day) when paying a lot of money for a room felt a bit excessive
4.2
Lovely location, nice decor and very friendly staff
There was an intermittent hum / knocking from the heating in the passage near our room which disturbed our sleep.
4.2
The location was fantastic - right in the middle of the town.
The bed was comfortable and all the linen of a high quality.
Good shower and great bathroom.
The breakfast was lovely and the young lady who took the orders was very helpful and professional.
Even though the car park was an added cost, it was convenient to have a parking space on site.
As with many hotels in old buildings, there were stairs and passageways to negotiate.
We were on the first floor, so it wasn’t too bad but may be tricky for people with mobility issues.
Our room looked onto the back and there were tables for drinks. As it was cold and rainy, there wasn’t anyone outside, but it may be different on fine, warm evenings.
4.2
Room neat and tidy - nice decor - but small
Car parking was terrible. Paid for as an extra but no spaces at times. Security barrier not in use (why not?) so spaces taken by non-residents and staff. If barrier was in use and staff advised not to park the problem could be solved easily. Not happy with current arrangements
4.2
vintage and chic
room was quite small so not great for long durations of stay
4.2

Light outside woodmill. Needs to be brighter to see code pad clearly.

Noise from bar next door but this died down after closing time.
4.2

4.2
Perfect location for seeing the sights in Cantery
4.2
Nice cooked breakfast, rooms clean, bottled water was a nice touch. Pretty well sound-proofed from the road outside.
Orange juice had run out at breakfast
4.2
Great location
£10 per night for the car park was disappointing
