Room is specious, clean and location is great!

Location is amazing, it is right opposite the central station!

On my 1st night, I was awakened at 4 am by loud noises and laughter in the corridor. It sounded like someone was having a lot of fun, but unfortunately, they were also very loud and seemed drunk. The noise continued for almost 40 minutes, making it impossible to sleep. We tried calling the reception multiple times for assistance, but no one answered. It was very frustrating and disrupted our rest.

Could be cleaner. Unfriendly environment (inside the pub, next to the bar) at check in for my two young children.

Superb

It was 5 minutes walk from Central Railway station. Reasonable price for one night stay. Good pub meal downstairs. Nice decor.

Overall the stay was good and value for money for what I was after.

Location is excellent being across road from Central station and tram runs right outside. The cleanliness and size of the room, bed was very comfy

Staff member when checking in was a little surly. You have to check in through the bar and I did so mid afternoon but n a week day, so the bar was not busy. Some milk in the fridge would’ve been helpful. TV channels almost non existent and changed at random times without warning

Very low value for price.

the location is good, very close to central station. The room is sufficiently spacious and relatively quite.

Finding the hotel and how to enter was a challenge. There is a bar attached to the hotel, where you can ask the key of the room. In practice, there's no service/staff. The pictures you find on booking are way better than reality. The room was extremely simple and the window was blocked by a metal panel so that in practice one couldn't look outside.

Better than I expected. The lamb shank meal was excellent in bistro too.

I got breakfast at central station

A larger TV would suit that room 4 more. But it worked ok. WiFi dropped out upstairs during zoom meeting. Trams rattling past but overall the trans were bearable. And I’d be happy to book there again.

Our stay was passable.

The location was ideal for our travelling purposes and wasn’t too expensive. The beds were also quite comfortable.

The milk was left out of a fridge. The shower head leaked. The silicone in the shower wasn’t doing what it needed to do as when you showered, the bathroom floor was drenched. Not very good lighting in the bathroom. Unclear on where we were meant to go to check in and had to go through the main bar with luggage.

The rooms were spacious

There was no heating at all. Given that its winter, its quite disappointing that they dont even have working heaters. The remotes didn’t even work sadly.

5 Minutes walk to Central Station

Great sized rooms, it is an old hotel built in 1870 but it was clean although a little mould in the bathroom, probably due to age. The staff were lovely and helpful...the food in the bistro was good and reasonably priced. Great location with easy access to Central Stn and Country buses.

There was a little mould in the bathrooms but probably dur to age. Due to the late closing of the hotel, the music could be heard from thr room on the 1st floor.

Exceptional

Comfortable room with private ensuite right next to Central station and the light rail. Lovely bistro dinner too.

The room did allow light in from outside even with the curtains closed.

Rude attitude

Location

Upon checkout staff were pretty rude. It was pretty much give us your room key & get out. I had actually planned to leave my suitcase there because I was travelling later on in the day. After the attitude we got I didn't bother. I would've bought food & drinks at the hotel but I ate elsewhere instead. I am a regular guest at this hotel & choose to stay here because of the convenience of location. I might think twice before booking here again.

Checkout time is incorrect We hear everything of other rooms, and corridors. We hear the light rail passing by it vibrates the whole room

Superb

The location was top! Close to the central station (15 minutes from the airport), plenty of restaurants in the area and close to city center. The check-in and the check-out simple, big rooms and clean sheets/towels

The furniture was old, but for us it was not that relevant.
