Room was great
Loud music and flashing lights outside until well past midnight.
Cooked breakfast buffet was unavailable and service from the kitchen took too long
5.0
The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The Chef prepared a good quality breakfast and was very helpful in additional request for poached eggs.
The room felt a little tired and worn. The bed was worn out uncomfortable. The carpet was threadbare in places where you enter the room next to the bedside table, carpet felt dirty underfoot needs replacing. Bathroom floor and wall tile cracked missing and poor replacement. Paintwork on door frame cracked, need smarrening up. Items missing from advertised room inventory. The noise levels at night into 2am and 5am Street cleaning also disturbed what should have been a good night's sleep that you would expect paying £150 a night..

The room was nice and good location too. Very reasonable price overnight for something so central. Three beds were made up for us and very very comfortable. Good shower and bathroom facilities. The docro is very nice, old timey with lots of mirrors making it feel spacious.
We asked about accessible bathroom the second we arrived and were told we had to get the lift up to the 2nd floor then down to the 1st. We responded thst stairs were the issue and we would wait to get to the room. Obviously this couldn't be helped with the lift being out but after that we were provided with a room on the 2nd floor... Fine... We got in the lift okay and to floor 2 but in order to get to our room, we had to go down and up another flight of stairs (not a small amount of steps either!
It would have been nice to have the staff recognise that we needed an easily accessible room after asking for the accessible bathroom... instead of them giving us a really difficult room location.
I've never seen a hotel with as many random steps up and down once you are on the floor! I guess if you don't have any issues with stairs this is quite fun but that wasn't the case for us unfortunately. Just be aware of that and if you have ANY mobility issues make it explicitly clear to the staff, as I don't think they put two and two together when we were enquiring.

Great location. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.
Shower was terrible. No water pressure in room 403. Wall plaster is cracked all over but generally good stay and comfy bed.
7.0
A really lovely hotel, enriched with so much history & the location is great. The bed was insanely comfortable. Ear plugs were provided to block out the outside noise (there was a fair amount of noise coming in from the street till the early hours of the morning) considering where its located, it's to be expected. A fun evening, looking forward to going back.
The only things I noticed were cosmetic, such as the carpet in our room had bubbled & rippled in quite a few places, along with the old flimsy window frames, the window handles felt as though they may fall off at any moment & some visible cracks in the paint, it just made the room look rather scruffy which was a shame but overall, a lovely stay.

location
the aircon made a continuous loud squeaking noise which made it hard to sleep
4.0

The bed was comfy.
The room was quite small and everything was on a tilt. Even when laid in bed it felt as though you were on an angle like walking into a fun house. The floor was extremely creaky and I felt bad for anyone that was below our room while we were walking around. There was quite a bit of noise which is to be expected on a weekend so I slept with my own ear plugs in although there were some provided. It could be beneficial to know of noise prior to staying. It would have been nice to have a small mini fridge or something similar as other hotels do. There was also no body wash in our shower.
8.0
The hotel itself was fairly nice, and all of the staff seemed quite nice.
I wish I had booked a bigger room, but beyond that the room I stayed in was not great, the drawers in the desk wouldn't close, and the walls inside the room were a bit damaged
2.0
The location to motorpoint arena
We wasnt informed prior to booking bout the whole hotel being covered in scaffolding, the rooms are not like the pictures atall, flaking paint back to brick work on walls, broken toilet seat hinges, sealant loose around shower, dirty pillowcases, noisy squeeky lift brush marks on paint in hallways where its been touched up,the list just goes on this is deffo not a 4 star . lots of beggers and people sleeping rough all around.
WE SHOULD OF BEEN INFORMED ABOUT BUILDING WORK WE WOULDNT OF BOOKED

The staff, the room, the bed, the shower
It was so noisy outside in the street, the noise finally stopped around 3am so not a good nights sleep at all.

Great location, 5 minutes walk to the arena, lovely room, good breakfast

Location was superb for a concert at Motorpoint arena and access to Lace market area
The building works that we hadn’t been advised about when booking, although we had been left earplugs
The builders outside the bedroom window at 9am
The lift not working
Generally grubby

The staff were friendly and the bedding was clean. Location was great.
I have contact the venue about this directly but not had any response over a week later. There were building works that we weren't told about in advance, our toilet was constantly running, the coffee machine was broken, half the lights in our room didn't work properly/had missing bulbs, there were cobwebs and (not their fault) but the lift was broken while we were there. They stay was bought as part of a gift and was disappointing.

I liked the bed, big and comfy. The location was really good, right in the city centre.
Bathroom wasn’t clean, and out dated.
1.0
The convenience of the location. It was close to the metronome, which is where we were attending an event.
Our room was dirty and unhygienic. Mould in the corner next to the bed, thick dust on top of surfaces, stained bedding, filthy window. Uneven floor. The toilet kept continuously flushing. The TV was too loud on its lowest volume setting. There was extremely loud and bassy music playing directly underneath our room until 2am.

Excellent central location. Surrounded by bars, restaurants, still nice and quiet- however this may not be the case on a weekend!
Lovely rooms- quirky decor.
Superb breakfast- loved the atmosphere in the brasserie.
All of the staff i encountered were friendly and pleasant.

Localização e atendimento
Quartos escuros, o elevador não chega direto ao quarto, sendo preciso carregar as malas por uma pequena escada. Além disso, estava em obras

Gym was good, but could have been slightly larger
Walls on staircase being renovated

Good spacious room & city centre location
Uncomfortable bed, it was two singles pushed together with a topper placed on top. So there was a big dip in the middle of the bed.

Perfect location for us, good price for the night and lgbt+ friendly
No TV remote, air conditioning wasn't working, and the room was uncomfortably hot
5.0
Very central location
Aircon didn’t work, so the room was very hot. There was toilet paper in the loo, suggesting it hadn’t been cleaned very well. I stood on an old nail clipping on the carpet… again, cleaning issues and the shower had zero pressure. I’ve got wetter banging the washing out.

Location is good
The staff is lovely
The bar is nice
The breakfast is poor, always the same
The pad room is a disaster, dirty, dark, the bed is bad, the room is small.
The wifi disconnect all the time
7.0
It was edgy vibe to the rooms which switched up a hotel stay rather than you average hotel room.
We liked how it was accessible with being in the city centre we was never too far everything was walking distance.
The toilet within our room had a few stains on the toilet and sink which washed away with just a wet paper towel.
9.0
Room was automatically upgraded to a larger one. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Location of hotel is excellent if you're attending any concerts at the Motorpoint Arena.

Everything. Fantastic facilities including a fridge and Nespresso machine. Great decor and room service available. Nice reception staff. Good location in the centre of Nottingham. We was also upgraded to a better room free of charge, which was a nice suprise 😊 it was handy to get a spare bed so we didn't have to share
The fridge temperate wasn't very cold unfortunately.
9.0
An excellent location for our needs. The room was adequate in size, clean and the bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast was very good, hot, tasty and a varied selection of cereals, fruit etc.
The WiFi kept dipping in and out
Despite using the lift. we had to use two small flights of stairs
