The location was great. The bed was comfortable and bedding very clean. Room had an iron, hairdryer and lovely bathroom
To get to the rooms you had to walk up several flights of stairs which were through the dinning area. Stairwell wasn’t too clean to be honest. There was no where to put clothes away, decor was quite industrial which didn’t allow for drawer space. On the first morning the breakfast took quite a bit of time to arrive. The girl serving came back and forward several times to bring items to the table

What a great location - Lovely staff - Beautifully presented room - Accommodated me late at night after I had issues checking in with a different hotel - Just life savers
If you are a light sleeper there was some noise from the street in the morning (not at night though) but this is due to it being prime location - I was super impressed by this hotel and staff overall

A fabulous centrally located accommodation on the bus route from the airport. Walking distance to everything! Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious.
Nothing, loved it all!!

Good choice of cooked breakfast. Didn't try continental. Staff were excellent. Great amenities in the room.
Very noisy outside early morning, even with earplugs. Best to keep all windows closed.
No lift so be prepared for several flights of stairs. Maybe ask for a lower floor.

I liked the GHD hairdryer and straighteners in the room and the smart fridge. the bed was two single pushed together so it seemed like a larger bed which was good and it was comfy. The staff were so lovely and pleasant. The location was perfect, A 2 minute walk to princes street.
We were up early so it wasn’t as much of an issue but the hun men came around at half 7 and you heard bottle being emptied. As it was mid week, it was quieter but I would imagine staying here at the weekend you would hear more noise as it is above a bar/restaurant. Also having to walk through the bar to get to the bedrooms was strange.

Did not have breakfast but had dinner, sorry to say menu was not to my liking but I am a fussy eater, partner enjoyed his meal
More choice on menu

The staff were so friendly and accommodating and they really helped to make my trip.
From the warm welcome to ‘nothing is a problem’ attitude. It was like 5 star service but in a nice relaxed environment and not stuffy like some high end hotels.
The only fault was there was no lift and I have a reoccurring knee problem that if I had a flare up, it would of been difficult to make it to the top floor but I should have made them aware and I am sure they could of accommodated us on the first floor.

Beautiful bar and dining area. The staff were absolutely fantastic! So friendly and attentive. Really, really nice! There was a group of 6 of us and we had some drinks before heading out for the night and then again when we came back. Drinks were lovely and reasonably priced. Service was superb!
The breakfast in the morning was lovely also.
The whole vibe of the place is fantastic BUT as said by previous guests, the noise of the glass bottles being emptied and collected outside is so so loud. We heard the bottle bins being dragged over the cobbles and back again. We stayed in the top room and it was as if the window was open all night. I heard people singing, laughing and shouting all night long. I did say to the breakfast staff when checking out and she said that they are supposed to have an agreement that the bins dont get emptied until after 7:30am but obviously this isn't being adhered to as the emptying of the bins went on from 5am. Great hotel but this really needs to be sorted. Either with better soundproofing in the room or with the council or cleansing company.

Received a warm welcome from this adorable hotel, the rooms were gorgeous and exceptionally clean. The breakfast provided in the morning was amazing as well as a hot drink at no extra cost.
The only fault with my trip at this hotel was that my room was on the first floor and so my window was on ground level. This meant that the view was of the road next to the hotel and had small bins next to the window. I did not feel unsafe however, having the noise of glass bottles being thrown into the bin wasn’t ideal.

Super friendly staff, nice restaurant area and good location in the city center.
The room was not that nice for the price paid, pretty small and really bad view from the room.

Location is excellent for areas of the city. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is exceptional.
The bathroom looked as if it needed an overhaul. There was obviously an issue with the sink that staff were aware of prior to our arrival (not draining). It was rectified but you could tell this was a recurring issue. The bath was chipped and didn’t look that clean. The shower head had a rinse function which also did not work. Finally there were signs of some kind of fire damage on the wood surround of the sink. To be fair for the money we paid, the bathroom was really sub standard.

We were upgraded to Tiger Lilly There Sister Hotel As The Room I Booked Was Getting Maintenance Work Done To It We Got It For The Same Price We Paid For The Rabble Hotel.
It Was Just Slightly A Bit Far From The Town

incredible restaurant and bar area. we stayed in the king four poster room, loved the facilities within the room, quite a quirky room. clean and comfortable. would stay here again.
our room backed onto the rear of the hotel and this made it very nice early in the mornings with the bottle banks being emptied.

Staff super friendly and helpful, looked after our luggage both before and after our stay. Breakfast was great as was the general hotel feeling
Room did need a very small amount of tlc around the shower, however super clean and really nice feel

David, Shanna and Martin were absolutely amazing to make you feel welcomed without being too much.
Such a beautiful space and very attentive staff. It's also a fantastic location right in the heart of the city and from the moment you step through the doors the atmosphere is very warm and the music accompanied with the decor leave you feeling relaxed.
The food downstairs was exceptional and fairly priced for the quality. Definitely visit again.
Even though we had trouble with the bed we know we will still come back here simply because of the staff and the service alone.
The double room was two single beds pushed together which made for slightly uncomfortable sleep and we had to resolve this issue ourselves despite raising queries as we both suffer from sensory issues. Sleeping on top of the duvet was what helped us get a good night's sleep, perhaps look into using mattress toppers in the future to eliminate the gap and rough lines to ensure that guests like us get a full rest.

Loved the interior of the room and the facilities provided. The speaker was easy to use. The mini fridge was well stocked. The bed was very comfortable. Location perfect. Staff were friendly/helpful.
The only thing was that the bar/restaurant was very quiet.
4.2
Very central location, big rooms with a comfy bed!
Room was warm & it was loud outside if windows were left open. The toilet barely flushed. On arrival staff attempted to charge us twice (we had already paid), and though we had booked a twin (& received confirmation) the room was a double.

The staff were so happy and helpful and the bar and restaurant was really pretty
I didn’t like the stairs to the rooms as they were dark, dirty and smelt and I didn’t like that we had to walk past everyone eating their meals with our suitcases . The restaurant was really expensive to but food was good
4.2
Location amazing. Lovely chilled vibes. Staff knowledgeable and attentive. Breakfast delicious. Luxe decor. Boutique feels.
Room very warm. Also found a bobble on the floor, obviously from a previous owner and floors a bit dusty beside the bed. Bottle collection was at 5:45am which awoken us.
