Bed was super comfortable!
Breakfast wasn’t the nicest

Location
Parking over the road
Definitely not a 4 star hotel !!
One curtain in room that didn’t even cover window ( looked like a squat type curtain)
Room ultra small, no where to put belongings except floor.
Bed was not large
Pokey shower room, could hardly sit on toilet comfortably because of basin. ( I’m a size 12/14) any large person would have got stuck!!!!!!
Room not spotlessly clean,
Hotel communal stairs felt grubby
Noisy doors - need door closures
5.0
It was on the seafront and looks nice from outside. The bed was comfortable
No welcome. Had to shout ‘hello’ for a good five minutes before some came to check us in. Pokey rooms ( well , the ones we stayed in ) double bed against a wall which meant one of us had to climb over the other to go to the loo. At our age this happens at least once at night
So not ideal.
Cracked tiles in the bathroom on floor and walls. Chipped bath. Massive crack and chip on the toilet cistern. No room to swing a cat in there either. No bath mat or grip rail. Disappointed as the pictures show a completely different look.

Location with sea view. Nice staff.
There was no lift working and we were on the 4th floor. We weren’t warned that would be the case. The mattresses weren’t good.
5.0
Room was clean and OK.
The hotel needs some TLC. It's an old building and shows it. The bathroom in room 8 was so small but clean. The bed was comfy but only a double and the pillows need replacing as lumpy and lifeless.

The only good thing was the sea view, apart from that everything was terrible.
The room that we were allocated has a problem with mould on the ceiling directly above the bed, we had crumbs of the ceiling falling on our heads during the night, this caused us to have a cough and difficulty in breathing. The next morning this issue was addressed to the staff only to find them to be very dismissive and impolite to the point where we were just ignored and told that it had been raining for the last few days. It is unacceptable to let a room out in these conditions and to not even care about the customer. Falling pieces of ceiling on the guests heads is totally unacceptable.

Beautiful views , the bed was a bit uncomfortable but have slept on a lot worse and we did sleep well so was not a problem, Lovely Breakfast
The crack in the sink

Gute Lage. Nettes Personal, Zimmer mit Meersicht.
Älteres Hotel mit Zimmern die in die Jahre gekommen sind. Ausstattung ist aber OK

Location- on sea front close to shops and restaurants. Within 10 minute walk of most attractions Fill English breakfast
4 flights of stairs and no lift. No offer to carry bags . Breakfast available for an extra £10.50. Staff could have been more welcoming,

Clean and presentable. Great location.

Location
No lift, had to walk up flights of stairs with luggage
8.0
Friendly staff, nice and clean
5.0
It was clean.
The strange smell in the hallways and there were no facilities at all. It is not a 4 star hotel as advertised. It is a guest house with no stars and Booking.com should not be describing it as a 4 star hotel.
7.0
No breakfast in winter season .
One light in bathroom didn’t work . They could have had a small lamp in room ,
as main light very bright .
7.0
The location is excellent.

Staff were lovely. Staying on the ground floor is better.
Walking up 4 flights of stairs with a suitcase.
7.0
Clean & tidy and a great location
A bit dated, but very good value.
No central social point.
8.0
Nette, ruime comfortabele kamer.
10.0
Great location with a car park on the door step.
8.0
Location, friendly staff, easy check in
No bar May be an issue, quite old fashioned but does have a small lift
4.0
Location was convenient.
Rooms were uncomfortable in heat with little air flow, rooms were dated and walls had visible holes and noticeable repairs.
Shower was difficult to balance temp. Either ice cold or too hot.

Can't think of anything.

location
clean room
bedroom windows very dirty
has to climb 86 stairs to the room
odd smell in the corridor

near the beach,excellent sunset.
a little cold at night
5.0
Good location.
Bathroom very run down and in desperate need of refurbishment.
Bedroom could also do with some updates but not as bad.
Reception is lovely, but doesn’t match the rest of the property which needs work - bit of a false perception really.
3.0
The view but not the fact that the dirty window wouldn’t open properly.
Room 28 should not be rented out without a health warning. There is a funny smell. The lighting is abysmal, it’s so gloomy one cannot read. Neither bed has a bedside table and one has no reading light. The bathroom lights didn’t all work.
The room is hot and stuffy and the window doesn’t open fully. I was told that Le the manager puts prices up and down at will. That I had paid 20£ more than the room should really cost. I would like a refund, that might take away some of the poor memory. Your website looks fabulous but you need to say that you are renting rooms way below the standard you advertise. You should really be reported to the Advertising Standards Authority.
